MidPen Housing Corporation Review

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
BEWARE of MidPen, since they came into our neighborhood in Pacifica it's been nothing but problems for neighbors. MidPen has no idea what goes on at the apartment, and they do nothing about legitimate complaints. There's 1 unit with least 7 cars with handicap license plates sitting in front and we can't park our 1 vehicle after work. How can tenants qualify for housing with 7 cars, one being a Mercedes? Other units have people who illegally live in them, they broke my fence and never responded to help fix it. Again, they NEVER RESPOND. I'm not actually sure the manager Phelyna S. actually exists.

Very unprofessional, both Edwina Bennet plaza in Sunnyvale never gave me a chance after my name being chosen for a one and two bedroom lottery a year ago. I kept my info updated and followed what their application required. I was denied because for the one bedroom my household composition changed. They didn't even sit down with me to review my appeal. People in management " are biased and pick and choose only people and family they want first". Crooks. And don't trust management at Dinner Loft! Awful lying so called humans. Thieves? Yes I believe they are.

Thieves and unprofessional. They stole my deposit. Ripped off Havens For Heroes and I. It's pretty sad when they steal from charities and poor people. Small Claims, Fun Fun. Imagine what they're doing to H.U.D. Also H.U.D. VASH won't help. They must be paying them off. H.U.D. should audit them.

Mid pen housing evicted us in the most malious way possible. They along with their lawyers Dana wares from Tirey, Baldwin & St John falsified 60 day notices they forced managers at Hillsdale Townhouse where I paid rent on time for 9 years the retaliation started once Maria Ramos and Melanie Gibson got caught not fixing my AC heater for three months forced themselves into my home and most shocked lied in Small Claims Court on May 14, 2019 where I presented a long statement as to what really happened on 5/24/19. I won the case and received $1250 for my property they threw out. I now am in position to sue in a higher court of law very soon. The truth came out and all the companies lies failed them. Mid Pen housing put all involved at risk of jail and jeopardized everyone's living and the trauma we endured will never be forgotten.

This organization manages properties horribly, caring neither about the tenants nor the community the properties reside in!

i have been to several mid-peninsula housing and have been on the waitlist for over 2 yrs and is now in need of housing. I was told to contact the san mateo housing authority. please help, how do i get housing. or who would or will except my section 8 voucher. please help.. my children and i is currently homeless due to a home we rented became "uninhabitable to live". we were basically self evicted. and is now in need of housing. This comment is directed to MID PEN and your "manager" Angelica. I am not sure that is her name because on correspondence there is someone else listed as Patricia. Don't go to her when you're in need of help with household appliances such as the refrigerator or A/C. She and her "team" are the worst and will swap your appliances for an even more USED appliance. One of the "maintenance" men lives in the property office which is located inside the apartment complex parking lot. He and his family are constantly rotating their vehicle(s) so there is not enough parking for the actual residents. As do the manager's and the assistant's family. They also rent the clubhouse to private parties when it clearly states only residents may rent the club house. When these private parties occur there's been car break ins and robberies and they don't do anything to fix the issue. When we verbally complain during meetings nothing is done. Honestly MID PEN, please put more mind in the HR department. They need to investigate the management and the team.
