Their customer service is horrible! I've called plenty of times regarding a payment that I made and the lady from the billing department always gives atittude and she doesnt even know how to do her job right. She's terrible and she barely picks up the phone
Update: MidHudson Regional Hospital had me wait from 11:40pm to 7:00am suffering from a sickle cell pain crisis, ignoring my cries for help, avoiding answering my call bells, only offering me two doses of medication that were not completely successful.. only to discharge me stating that, in their opinion, there s nothing medically wrong with me. I believe I am being discriminated against and I will be filing a complaint. This hospital is not culturally competent enough to treat such a diverse population.
Terrible hospital! My son has a stomach bug and has not been able to hold down food and water for the last 3 days. They told me it was going to take 5 "trained" employees to hold my 2 year old son (weak from dehydration btw) down for an IV. This is only after it took 6 hours to be even taken to a room to be seen by the nurse and or doctor. My son is apparently stronger than your average adult.... went in at 5pm, still being ignored at 3 am the next day. Terrible staff. Terrible management. Terrible service. Incompetent treatment. DO NOT GO TO MIDHUDSON. You are better off buying a coffin and taking a nice dirt nap.
My son has epilepsy and he had a very bad and new kind of seizure. We only had him go there because I was allowed to be with. HimThe PA and the nurses were so rude. I Told the PA he needed a certain med. She told me she ordered.it and She lied. I told her he needed it and she said he did not. His postictal was so bad and she told his Dr. He was faking it.
I know my son and he was not.
Once I signed the transfer papers for him to be transferred to NYu hospital where his Dr is. , They dropped the ball on him . We sat therefor 8 hours and they did not check on him at all. I would not take my dog there.
STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE

A nurse told us my son had dinner first night but he wasn't offer it. She also told us that he refused to provide parent information so that they cannot contact us asap but he actually told it when he registered. They didn't call parents 3 hours after he registered and explained us that it was my son's fault.
After he came in this facility, he was heard only once "are you okay?" from the nurse assistant who is only person seems work properly and no one check his room and his condition. Other adult patients are walking around. He heard a guy entered woman's room and a nurse gave him warning twice "do not enter and touch her." At same night one guy standard in front of his room and look at him for quite long time. His door isn't locked and open upper half so that any one can enter if they try.
Horrible hospital. I went to the ER was there for hours. She diagnose me with a sinus infection. Ran no test or blood work. I had many other symptoms that didn t comment to just a sinus infection.I was getting more sick after that. I end up going to northern Dutchess they ran all test and blood work turn out I had tested positive for Lyme disease. Mid Hudson regional cause time to go by being neglectful and everyday is important that pass with Lyme. I would never recommend anyone going to this hospital
Horrible experience! Girl on speaker phone yelling and swearing on the phone! I asked her to please take her phone off speaker or please go outside and she ignored me. When I asked again she started threatening me and saying she was going to beat me up! The security guard MATTHEW was absolutely unprofessional and didn't care about me at all yelling at me like I did something wrong. And to top it off that girl got a room before me and was only there 20 minutes when I was there 2 hours and had a worse case! I had heavy vaginally bleeding and she had BUG BITES!! The front end staff was very nice and the one other security guard I talked to but MATTHEW was absolutely unproffesional and rude! I don't know how he has a job at a hospital! I've heard he's been like this before! He NEEDS TO GO!
The wait just to get to the triage nurse was over 4 hours and since I was in agonizing pain (torn tendons) I couldn't believe it. Once I was in the back the nurse I had was very sweet, however, there was one lady working (not sure if she was a nurse) that had a serious attitude problem & was talking negatively about 2 nurses to the computer screen. I couldn't believe it, literally talking to the screen.It was crazy to watch,, very immature & unprofessional she was
Fabulous experience for my family. The ER is the typical hurry up and wait experience, but the pediatric department couldn t have been better! Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. The environment was kid friendly. The nurse with us most of the time, Kadie, was beyond fantastic. She truly made my daughter feel cared about and for. I couldn t have asked for better.
