Mostly nice staff. Nice instructors for Figure Skate learners. The problem is, even though you pay for exclusive Figure Skate instructions for an hour, little hockey players (regardless of what day you choose for the skate instructions) gets into the rink and start playing even though it's not their time. Several complaint to apparently the manager, who is also a hockey coach and who speaks to you as if you're one of the students and not a parent, went in vain with a response "what do you want me to do, they don't listen," and that includes their parents. YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR and it almost amounts to false advertising in their brochure and in their bulletin board. If you have an admin staff who's also a coach, he s bound to favor his students over secondary classes. Two sessions for my daughter and I'm thinking of bringing her to Jersey Shore Arena for lessons (they have much stricter control). I only hope the owner takes notice and do something about it. It may be a pretty good place for Ice Hockey instructions, but definitely not for any other classes.

Everyone friendly and supportive of the children and hockey. Difficult to find with Google Maps- inaccurate and once "you have arrived" and you "haven't" it can be quite frustrating. Fortunately, locals out and about (tennis courts and ice cream shop) were very helpful!

Tried to go there for open hockey on Sunday night for past 2 weeks and was turned away. The first week was due to the fact that there was not enough people to play (they require 6 people minimum) We had 5 people and offered to pay the difference just so me and my friends could have some ice time. Nope turned away. The second week me and my friends tried going. I don't know why they cancelled it but the young adult working said "I cancelled it about an hour ago online." Regardless of the fact that there was 10+ people that showed up to play and willing to pay. I will drive the extra few minuets down the road to JSA from now on. Lost all hope in "open hockey" at Howell

I came here hoping to play hockey but to my surprise they actually don t have open hockey. I had fun but the three stars go to the lack of hygiene in the bathroom. The lady s room has toilet paper all over the place, no soap, and poor ventilation.

If you go with a little one and need to rent a walker, make sure they don't sell you the skates rental until the walker becomes available. They had a 15 min wait for the walker today, but the charged us for the skates. While we were putting on the skates and walked to the ice, 15 mins passed. My little one refused to go on ice without a walker. We went back to check and one was not yet available. I asked for the refund of skates rental since we did not get to skate due to the walker inavailability and they REFUSED to refund. To my surprise. Simple gesture that they could have done. Rating as one star for this reason.

Rink was good just very full and got choppy very quikly

Great place to skate and very well managed! Staff members were beyond nice and very helpful. Snack bar had plenty of options and was well priced all around. Will definitely be back soon!

Workers are rude and do not respect anyone and are terrible people

Staff is so kind and understanding...one young gentlemen working helped my son when he fell and helped him tie his shoe as well...thank you for such great personality and kind soul

Offers ~4 hours a day for people to skate. Other times are designated for sports. Has a railing to hold on to and optional plastic walkers for kids.

Had such an incredible time with my family last weekend! Staff was extra friendly and accommodating. Ice and skates were in better condition then we ve ever seen. We will definitely be back soon had so much fun!!!

Long overdue review. The owner is amazing. The manager is amazing. They came to my rescue when my daughter s birthday party was suddenly cancelled at another facility. They promised to take care of everything and they did. The kids had an amazing time and loved the party. Very few people go out of their way to help you and this staff certainly did.

They have public skating sessions and allow a max of 75 per session. Its a good size rink. Go online to sign up for a session and head to the front desk, go left on entering the bldg. Parking available.

The ice arena is awesome. I love going ice skating there, it amazing. I can figure skating, and they are so nice to me.

Website does not work staff is very rude I talked to the general manager and wen I tried to explain wat was happening he hung up the phone on me. Wouldn t recommend

Unfortunately our first visit didn't go well. Our son got blisters on both ankles from the skates after 30 min. Someone stole his Howell Rebels ski cap as well. No one that worked there seemed to care.

I take my son here. We like it. I also took my son for lessons on how to ice skate. They were great and it helped him. Definitely worth the money. They were very helpful and teaching him. We like to go skating in the winter. Not expensive at all

It's the best skating rink for a family to skate and there is room to put you skates on and to get your equipment on the locker room is an average size it is big enough to get dressed it is nice and a great place to go with your family to skate !!!

Love Howell ice arena and all the staff there!! My boys have been playing hockey there for several years and they receive the best instruction on the ice!

Went curling here for my 30th birthday, which was awesome! I understand they no longer have it, which is sad.

Showed up to open hockey to find out there was no one there and they were not allowing anyone on the ice because only two people showed up. WASTE OF TIME. why even bother to put up time on schedule

Great time to go out with the family, or on a date. They re open semi-late so you can still fit a trip here in. I like to come in when they have the bigger arena open, leaving more room to skate. Great place, cheap and local fun.

I went to a birthday party and my family had an awesome time. My daughter learned to ice skate using the walkers in a half hour tops! Great place for the family!

1 skate gaurd on the ice for close to 100 people not doing his job while teenagers use foam dividers as jumps to project themselves into the learning area. Not to mention the group of kids who are wearing hockey gear using the children's "walkers" as a racing device while dozens of little children who can't skate wait. Zero help from staff on the ice. The place is dangerous.
