Mid-Ohio FoodBank Review

I volunteered and found that it was very rewarding. I would recommend either donating or volunteering to help those in need.

I was late for my appointment after being stuck in traffic in Columbus, yet when I arrived, I was unloaded within 30 mins.

Great everybody at the Mid-Ohio Food bank are very friendly and nice, I really enjoy picking up for our food pantry

Lately the collaborating people some are rich and abusive with us ... The last 3 times I was offended me. .but I talk about the people who are helping in each section.

A great resource should you need food. It takes a long time to go through the process but we'll worth the wait. Friendly volunteers.

I had the pleasure of volunteering here to help folks shop for what they needed around the holidays. The staff was awesome and trained us on what to do and then we were off to help others. Spending the day talking to everyone who came through was the best part. Putting a smile on people's faces was my goal and I think it was accomplished. Thank you Mid-Ohio for everything that you do for our community.

Can't get any help here because they expect you to sit outside with small children in 90 degree weather for 90+ minutes, they need a better system here , i wish i could find a sitter to come but thats not the reality of my situation as a hard working single mother.

I went this mid Ohio food bank the express line that is located in Grove city on 12/6/17.
For a family of seven they gave me a ridiculous amount of fruits and vegetables and only four rolls of something called turkey sausage.What the hell am I gonna do with turkey sausage? I need big rolls of like hamburger and what not not small ass rolls of turkey sausage.fruit and vegetables are all good and healthy but I need a main course of real meat for my four children that s this so ridiculous

This place is really striving to stop hunger great job

Volunteered here and they have a great process and have streamlined their efficiency 9n the food sorting department.

This was my first time. Never thought I qualified. But the process was easy and I received a beautifil spread of fresh food.

it serves fruit and vegetables once a week for each family and once a month you will make the full shop fruit. vegetables. and meat. egg milk for registration it's free you need. proof of address .id .the names of people who live with you. just for information there are people who make the chain from 4 o'clock in the morning so you have to be early in the morning to make the chain. The volunteers are always helpful and freindly. The entire store is clean. I am thankful for the work that the mid ohio food bank does for our community.

Volunteers are nice, service is pretty quick compared to other food pantries. Food selection isnt great but you get a lot and you get options so i cant complain. I reccomend this food pantry

I go to mid Ohio to help get me through on food, they are always friendly and helpful every time I go, Gary, one of the employees with mid-ohio, he is always saying hello, and smiles, sometimes it just can make your day for someone to say hi, how are you..etc.

They are truly an asset to our community. You don't have to go hungry. The people there are very kind and helpful.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Assisted in loading product into the van. We were able to get everything we need for our community meal on 12-23-17.

Great place and friendly people make this an awesome food pantry the only downside is that the waiting room is only large enough to accommodate 20 people and they call the numbers 20 at a time so you must wait outside and also they post the numbers in the window but the numbers are so tiny that you will basically be going back and forth to check to see which number group they are currently on. The upside is they allow you to quick shop once per week and that gives you produce and bread or you can full shop once per month which gives you everything like the quick shop but also meat, milk and a choice of a sweet item and they are very quick once your number is called.

Got in & out quickly. Got a whole rotisserie chicken, a meat loaf w/mashed potatoes & butter on top. The meatloaf must weigh a couple lbs. A huge NY Strip Steak, enough for 2 or more ppl. This was the quickest, I ever shopped there. Got there around 12:15, out by 1:30, amazing to me. The volunteers were so helpful & friendly 2...I will be back. I will tell others of the nice fruit, veggie & meat selections. Awesome visit. Everything was fresh & good looking.

I love working for Mid-Ohio Food Bank there are so many great people I work with and their are great people that visit.. our clients are just so very special and the volunteers most of them 99% haha of them are beautiful people I love Marcia Pat Mike Linda Rhonda Sarah and a great friend that knows who she is I'll give a hint I found her mother ear ring my two very special married couple they know who they are Michael sorry I had to say your beutiful name Lea my sweet love tracy and my sister Tina there are so many others that work there Devin with a I ,Will David my son and Chef Shay Brad and Matt are really great guys Brad has great daughters and so many other wonderful people that I didn't mention I talked to them everyday and greet them and they greet me back I just love Mid-Ohio Food Bank and I appreciate what they do for our community I don't care too much for Grove City but I do love Mid-Ohio Food Bank and I hope to work there for a long time and maybe I will be hired on I'm not sure but there is one other person and her name is Rebecca she has a beautiful life she's hard sometimes but I adore her thanks for Rebecca thanks for keeping Mid Ohio going and to the rest of the volunteers you do a job that's Unforgettable thanks again love you all Robin Louise Burgett ps .. hi Angie with a loud shout love you too sweetie and all the forklift operators and the people I have yet to meet

Very helpful and courteous with my disability,very helpful with shopping and knowledgeable of the do's and don't s of the pantry,would like to thank everyone there for their hard-working and dedication......

Great food pantry lots to choise from very nice people great service

This pantry makes your experience just like you're at the grocery store shopping! You get allot of healthy foods that I can't afford so I'm REALLY Thankful! God Bless ALL the volunteers that make this pantry run like a boss!

Pleasant experience. Fast & efficient. Friendly volunteers made it an easy to get through.

They have a good amount of food. Their check in and shopping procedures are well planned out. They give you a good bit of groceries. It is well worth the trip if you are in need.
