I have banked here for years, their customer service is very courteous and always ready to go the extra mile. Their interest rates are always very competitive and the mobile banking app is incredibly helpful and easy to use!

I would recommend FNBA to any self-employed person. Particularly, Everett Hurt is an amazing loan officer. He is extremely knowledgeable and diligent. He is responsive and thorough. I have never had a loan experience happen so seamlessly and it is all because of Mr. Hurt's extraordinary competence.

Going with FNBA for my mortgage has been an outstanding experience! They are super efficient and make the process as easy as possible. I worked with Eric Andrejack who provided concise and accurate guidance along the way. I had some complications including being in an active chapter 13 bankruptcy and was still able to obtain the mortgage.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Their interest rates are through the roof. They promise you one thing and then say another. They don t detail things up front. Stephanie Brown is a joke and never answers her phone. Terrible experience.

Everett Hurt was our loan officer and he is the ABSOLUTE GREATEST! I was trying to solidify a mortgage for 6 months and I was losing all hope for being self employed and buying a house. Everett made the process so smooth I thought it was too good to be true. He updated me everyday on where my process was, was super efficient in requesting the information and documents he needed from me or my business, I could go on and on about how great he is at his job and servicing his clients. Matt and Renee are the BEST! They were able to close on my loan in less than 30 days! They pushed and worked as quickly as they could. This was really a dream come true and I could not ever thank them enough.

I was asked to fly from out of state for an in person interview that lasted 8 HOURS straight. No one ever told me the interview would last all day and I spent the whole time wondering when it would end. Over the course of 8 hours, I interviewed with over 8+people. The interview process was more about stamina than qualifications and should be revised to align with commom hiring practices in today's marketplace. In my 20 years of working I have never been to an interview like this one. Needless to say, I was not hired and very thankful considering if that's what the hiring practice is like I can't imagine what it's like to work there.

Nothing but wonderful experiences! Beautiful New Branch with amazing tellers!

Tried getting a non-conventional mortgage through them. Didn't end up happening. After 8 weeks both I and the seller gave up. Trying to get any information about what is going on is like pulling teeth. Myself, Title office, and my realtor would contact them asking about the status, or what was needed next, and get no response until the next day most times. When they needed docs, it was one piece at a time. "We need X document to move forward" Sent. No response until next day. Then calling and emailing them, finally get: "Now we need this document" Just one doc at a time day after day after day. Asked for a straightforward list of any and all docs that might be needed so I can just have them ready. No response. Just ignored until the next day. "Now we need this one doc to move forward" Going to take me a few days to get that doc. Would have been nice if you had told me sooner. Told week after week after week "We can close on Friday" just to be told at the last min on Friday "We need this other document to close"
If you have a bunch of time you need to waste and money to lose on earnest deposits, etc, go with FNBA. I'm out well over $1000 because they couldn't get a simple loan done after 8 weeks.

Mortgage Loan was transferred here, Nightmares.....Pure Nightmares from this situation. A hot mess in their office. Stay away if possible.

Wow! Stephanie and Renee were the best! Being a self-employed borrower created many problems for me to obtain a loan, but when I found FNBA, it was a breeze! So seamless and no more sorrow. I would recommend any and all self-employed individuals to go thru FNBA, specifically Stephanie and Renee. They treated me as if I was their only client and I will always be grateful!

Becky Shinevar was our loan officer... We could not find any bank that does bank statement loans for self employed borrower. The minute we spoke to Becky, we had full confidence that we found the bank! Within a week she went through all of our bank statements and we had a pre-approval. After that it was smooth sailing and we even closed within 30 days!!! Becky and the entire team at First National Bank knows the banking process and are so simple to work with. We had a bit of a scare a little over a month ago when the original bank who was providing our home loan wasn't making it happen. We decided to pull the plug and initiated a new home loan process with Steven Spears at First National Bank of America. Steven got us to close in just 28 days. From the beginning, Steven was straight forward, honest, and best of all, our interest rate was exactly what he said it was going to be from the beginning and our closing costs came in less than what was originally stated.

Additionally, Mallory Herrera was a crucial asset in the process. She was incredibly detail oriented and was even willing to go to bat for us when our home insurance company was quoting us an absurd rate.

All being said, Steven and Mallory made it happen and my wife and I are now in our forever home.

I am living in Detroit Metro area and travel in dozens States, but never sow so beautiful bank, not only building but excellent staff.

Best bank I've ever worked with, and I've worked with a few in Europe and the US, none of them come close to the level of care the staff at FNBA gives to their customers.

Whatever questions I've had they answered, everybody was very friendly and awesome to work with.

I had some problems due to some amounts wrongfully placed on hold on my card by the hotel i was staying at, but David and Britten took charge and got my money taken off hold in record time, Britten even went the extra mile and kept watch on my account when I was overseas in Europe.

The cashiers are also great, Victoria, Charris and Amber were always very friendly and always made sure any deposits or withdrawals i made were properly logged, always broke down the bills according to my needs at the time.

I strongly recommend FNBA, it's very hard to find their level of professionalism these days

Everett Hurt, my Residential Loan Officer at FNBA, is a person of utmost and highest professionalism and Service. He never drops the ball even if he needs to work w another department. He always returns his calls and emails for the day even past his usual hours. I came to FNBA after door after door was slammed in my face for a home loan. We were at the point of having to move from our home when Stephanie Brown was able to get us approved. We were dealing with difficult sellers who changed the terms on us and Stephanie was by our side all the way through and made the necessary adjustments to our loan. I closed on the home a little over a week ago and it was an emotional day. I can never express in words how much the help that Stephanie and Bruce meant to me an my family. They will forever go down in the history books as awesome.

Stephanie Brown was our Loan Officer for our home purchase. I was truly impressed with how quickly and efficiently we were able to get approval and keep the process moving forward. I have purchased multiple homes over the years and as a small business owner it has been one of the worst experiences to go through each time. The process feels like something from the Spanish Inquisition to be able to qualify. Stephanie had an approval for me in just under 24 hours. She was very responsive and communicative from our very first contact all the way to the closing and after, following up to see how our move went and to congratulate me again. For the first time ever, getting a mortgage was a simple and straight forward process. It made the stress of the situation significantly reduced!! The time lines she presented for the process were spot on. We ran into a small hiccup with the appraisal but Stephanie kept us on track and moving forward!
