This is a wonderful English school.The teachers and the staff are all kind.They create many free occasions like parties, tours, conversation clubs, pronunciation seminars, and so on.When I feel nervous, they welcome me very warmly like a family member so I can feel relaxed and enjoy the life in the school.
In the meantime, they are very professional.The classes are helpful to improve English and I like business clubs and career seminar very much.

It's an awesome place for international students . I and my nephew took courses here and both of us had wonderful experiences with MLC's staffs. They gave us more than language lessons. There are a lot of cultural and social activities in MLC that allowed us to make new friends and emerge in AA life. They really care about you by listen. understand and adjust the lectures to meet our demand. This English center is worth every penny

I have been in MLC for 3 months, and I can say that this place is exceptional in teaching. The classes are quite complete and teachers work on your comfort and progress. MLC is a great place to meet people from various cultures.The environment is super friendly. Though the building is very small, they do a lot of activities, and every student gets an equal attention in the class room.They are also open to students' suggestions and ideas to imrove.

Amazing institution, good culture and friendly people

One of the main reasons why I joined MLC was to develop my academic English specifically. They have a TOEFL preparation course taught by Ms. Kerri Johnson, who has a long experience in teaching English. She helped me improve my speech for the TOEFL test and to develop my reading and listening skills in general as well. And in the writing course with teacher Joshua my writing skills improved significantly. MLC was one of my most beautiful experiences in America and I thank them very much for what they have given me.

It is located in downtown Ann Arbor and is close to multiple bus stops, making it easy to reach and convenient.
There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, so you don't have to worry about cafes and lunch places with your classmates at the end of the class.

The class consists of around 10 students and students from about 6-7 countries.
The teachers are really professional, and a friend who had experience attending a language school in New York told me that the teacher's quality was so high that it was incomparable to the NY school.

There are also plenty of non-class activities.
In International Day, where students from each country can introduce their own culture, students introduced each other's traditional costumes, cuisine, and cultural backgrounds.
Thanksgiving day provides the school with an opportunity to experience American culture, as well as business clubs, game clubs, etc. that discuss mainly on pronunciation clubs and recent business models on regular weekdays
Various activities are provided free of charge.
If you want to touch English, you can jump into the environment as much as you like!

All classmates are highly motivated to learn and inspire.

The classes are very good organized, you won t feel bored, the materials they chose for class are usually interesting. We have presentations to do every session.I love doing presentations, have fun and challenges. we also have lots tests, sometimes stressful, but are beneficial to us.

My company works with MLC to have all our international employees join their custom sessions for language improvement. MLC is awwwwsome! We had so much good experience with them. They customized lessons based on our needs and our requests. Their class is not just about learning but having fun! In the class, you play, you laugh, you practice, and you learn! Unlike any of the traditional education, their education focuses on experience and happiness. Out of class, MLC keeps building connections and friendships with us. We went out to a bar to learn about American culture and talk about funny circumstances we bumped into. We had dinner at their place together to meet new friends from different countries. We took them to new bubble tea place to share our culture back in China. It is just so much fun to be with them!

MLC did really great job to help me enhance social communication and professional English skills as an international employee. Teachers are awesome! They made study and training plans for my specific traits, and had taught me a lot of knowledge and experience I would never learnt from school itself. I have been volunteering at the MLC for 5 months and I can tell you it is a very special place. The school has been in operation for over 40 years and they have developed a culture all their own. My conversation practice with the students is the highlights of my week; the students all have a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences, and they all share the love of language and a desire to improve their skills.

The school's programs cover the full range of abilities from young beginners right up to professionals working on accent mitigation. Everyone is very professional, welcoming and committed to creating the best learning environment possible.

It is really amazing place for studying English . All teacher are great , respectful and professional .The tuition is reasonable . I used to study English in Wayne State University ,but it is not worth it . The same material that I took in Wayne state I take it in MLC with friendly and very nice teachers with lower tuition.My conversion skill is improving because of friendly atmosphere. The environment is very comfortable and the MLC staff are really generous. You can print your papers for free . Also, coffee, tea and WiFi are available for free. They also offer facilities if you are seeking to get acceptance in American university .they always have fun activities. I really love it.

Very cool institute for studying English in a short time. The teachers are beyond description and most of them have a master s degree in language teaching and know how to deal with international students. They have language programs from scratch to professional and the prices are very reasonable.
