My son was diagnosed with Autism at a young age, and as a single mother I was desperate for a support system. This centre offers amazing programs for children at all levels of the spectrum. We particularly enjoy going to family night. The boys get to unwind with their peers, and I get to socialize with parents who are experiencing the same types of hardships and successes as our own. This place is a God send. Come join us for family night!

I don t have much good to say about this place.
During my sons most crucial time of development this agency wasted so much time.
My son did not have consistent services from the start.
They blamed this on the fact that new management just took over.
I wish I had not given them the benefit of the doubt.
The only good thing about this place was the speech path we had, sadly we didn t get to see her much.
Services over all were very inconsistent and disorganized.
No one seemed to know what was going on, we were invoiced for hours when the OT and aides failed to show up and had I not caught it then then government would have had to pay for services my son didn t use.
The aides would quit as soon as my child would grow attached and some didn t even make an effort to say good bye.
My child went through 5 aides in 10 months, you could tell the aides where just there for their time and didn t care much about my child.
Every time we would be sent a new aide we would be told how wonderful they were and how it would be such a great match for him. They would tell us how diligent their screening process was and how they ensure that their staff understand how difficult transitions and changes are to people on the spectrum.
I don t feel this was done at all because there was absolutely no regard for our feelings every time their aides would walk out.
I don t feel like any of our goals were met, they failed to bring the iPad to record my child, they didn t make visuals for my child, they accidentally had sent me text messages and emails intended for other people. I even ended up being sent the contact information for all of the families that they provided services too.
Then a follow up email telling me it was in error and to delete the email!
Very very unprofessional.
We had such high hopes too.
