MIS

MIS
The Speedway with a heart.
I rolled my ankle on a chunk of crushed asphalt walking into the race. The workers/volunteers took amazing care of me.
I can't Express how proud I am that MIS is my home track!
Thank you to you all!

We went to see the Christmas Lights. The drive through the lights was quite beautiful and near the end we even spent a few moments on the track. It was a fun evening for all of us. Our age range was from 3 years old to 75

A great experience each day at the track. Yes the drive in and out on Sunday is difficult in terms of delay due to the volume of cars. However just make plans to tailgate and kick back after the race.

A great track to visit. The camping spots are really nice and a good time I recommend them. Lots of options for food and drinks. Being a large track it can be difficult to see at times. A lot of traffic leaving so there may be a wait but there is plenty of parking. Book hotels as early as possible they fill up fast. Be prepared to walk a lot.

The staff really go out of their way to make sure all guests have a good experience. The grounds are clean and we'll maintained.
I am particularly fond of the shuttles to and from the parking lot to the grandstand. You never have to wait long for a ride. Other tracks could take a lesson on how to take care of the guests.

I love coming to MIS, But over the The years since the recession price drop years and Roger leaving, it seems like they just want to nickel and dime you to death. Do they realize the people who stay in the infield and all the other MIS Campgrounds are investing / spending over a $1000 + a weekend each, not even including what a sight holder spends. Which is it least double that Also the new shower hours suck and only mean that you're going to be in line longer, Overnight parking went from $20 a Weekend to 50 and nothing has changed (no free car wash or valet). They also discontinued the Privilidge of bringing a guest in on Saturday Night , Basically it was kind of like bringing a new fan in to the experience of the infield or camping (a loyal passionate built in sales / marketing department) but all they are worry about is that dollar. Yes they wanna pull money from our pockets and I understand that's business.I have whole Bunch of ideas to do that. Water slides, slip and slides, a water Area with spraying water and such to cool down on the hot days. Put in a small duplicate MIS fo kart track on some of the empty land and have racing for free camping for the next race and prizes with an entry fees There would be waiting list to sign up to enter that for sure Or continue to do what you been doing and nickel and diming us to Death And slowly losing your NASCAR fan base The Choice is yours.

PS. We understand that Faster Horses is your New Cash Cow that comes with a lot more drama and maintenance and even a death this year. Remember your NASCAR Fan Base got you here and want be here in the Future,

Great track and a great place to take your family. It also hosts one of the largest country music festivals in the country. Definitely worth the look. Don't forget this is the fastest Nascar track. I didn't like nascar when I was younger. It wasn't until I saw in person and felt the rumble in my chest of the cars fly by me did I love it

We are huge Nascar fans and we attend once to twice a year, June and August. Honestly we are finding the quality a little lesser each time we go. A lot of cutbacks and changes. As Canadians it is our first pick, as they really make us feel welcome with our flag, and National Anthem. We are well represented.

Excellent fan experience. Hospitality is top notch. Victory lane is very visible from all the frontstretch grandstands so it makes it easy to want to stay longer, plus you can roam around with pit passes before the race. Most fun you can have at a NASCAR race. I'd reccomend MIS to any race fan as a must stop on the schedule.

Best racetrack in NASCAR, period. Free, easy in, easy out parking. No smoking in the grandstands. Great place to take the family to see a race. Not a bad seat in the house. Been coming for 20 years.
