They make you buy the liquor say they will reimburse within few days after event but they don't. Takes forever for them to pay because instead of having a payroll account they wait until they get paid from vendor to pay their people.
They act like very nice people to work with, and then take 3 months to pay you. There is a copy and pasted message they send to every girl who asks about payment, stating that "the client hasn't paid yet" when its obvious bs. Don't work for them unless you want to wait literally 90 days for your payment. I'm sure no one would if they knew that. I have agencies that make their clients pay BEFORE the event. work with people like that.
I worked for them and still haven t been paid. I got a email saying it might take 30 days. It s been over a 45 days so I emailed them again. Now they re saying it might take 3/4 months to get paid on this job. Why did it change? That s really shady. Not only that, I had to pay for the product myself (which wasn t cheap) and they didnt even reimburse for that. This company is very unprofessional, I plan to make a complaint with the BBB as well if I don t receive payment soon.
I've done quite a bit of modeling since I was young and Michele & Group is superlative to many other agencies.
The models are extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff is very well organized and tentative at getting the talent recognized and booked.
I have been signed with M&G for quite sometime and every year they improve immensely, they really do care about their talent and any issues I have had were quickly resolved. Thank you ladies for my wonderful career!
Someone from the agency deactivated my account and falsely labeled me as 'unprofessional', when I hadn't even emailed anyone in over a year, except to ask why I wasn't receiving email blasts... I asked for documentation to show me having an attitude and being unprofessional. Lo and behold my request was disregarded. That's because it doesn't exist... What's unprofessional is leaving me to find out this information on my own instead of informing me -- for the sake of common courtesy for someone who's been with their agency for like 7 years now. What's even more unprofessional -- Not putting some stock into their models and elaborating on the details she was supposedly given by these "bookers", and giving me a chance to tell my side of the story before just hastily removing me from the database... Although there's not much to tell being nothing was even said... I responded to a handful of BAs less than a year ago saying negative things about Michele & Group on the 'Beware of Bad Staffing Agencies' facebook page and actually stuck up for them. I couldn't understand what they were talking about, but now I know. I sincerely apologize to those BAs...
