Im currently in 10 grade at this school and all i can really say is WOW it could be way better. Not all the teacher's really care about helping us so you have to count your self lucky when you get one that does. Also the bathroom's are not clean i be seen food on the floor,roaches and piss on seats and floor. An the class rooms are clean if you don't look at the floor :/
Doesn't care about their students. My daughter went to that school was getting good grades but her art teacher was failing her because I couldn't pay the art fees. She was doing the work with the supplies I bought her but her teacher said " no, she must use the supplies I give her." But she wasn't allowed to used them useless I paid the fees. Contact the principal at the time and he told me if I don't pay for the art fees she cannot graduate. Ridiculous, failing a student or preventing her from graduating because I couldn't pay an art fee?! I bought her the same supplies at a cheaper price somewhere else and she couldn't accept that. Transfer her to another school and was able to graduate. She is now working at a preschool as a teacher and going to college majoring in math
I am proud to say that I graduated from Killian HS in 1976. It was a great school back then and for the most part, the teachers seemed to care. I can even remember most of their names! After graduation, I went on to Miami Dade College and I feel Killian had well prepared me for that venture. I have since moved out of area, to Orlando. I have lost touch with the one's I knew back then, but am sad to read that the school is now longer what it used to be.
Proud to be a Miami killian alumni of 2016 great school! The education given to students is one of the best. It's a medium sized school so everyone is like family. The environment is just overwhelming. Everyone gets along with everyone. People may as if kids do drugs here. Columbus is a high class school and has students doing all kinds of drugs so no matter what level a school is it doesn't mean students will or will not do drugs that's on them not the school. Other than that killian is an amazing school. Students will love it there
Class of (99) this school was great teachers aren t given enough credit the wake up and work hard and our parents woke up and worked hard to get us there love a little older I realize how special those moments were give yourself some CREDIT and honor those students and teachers who attended the school before you with respect And if you re reading this God bless
I wish I could go to a different school my senior year. The principal is terrible. The rules are ridiculous and over the top now. There are few good teachers and even fewer caring ones. This school frustrates and angers me to the point where I want to cry. Hate it.
Just saw the attack in the lunchroom by several girls against 1. She told her teacher the day before, the administration supposedly knew. How could they allow this to happen, again! "0" tolerance should be "0" tolerance. This girls should be arrested, and they should hope that their stay in juvie isn't as bad as what they gave this girl, or maybe it should and that karma goes around and they learn their lesson. Wow, fed up with bullying, aren't you!
This is an aweful school. My daughter attended this school last year, the teachers on open house night said they offer tutoring on the side for $50. /hr. I should have taken that as a sign, not many of them care to teach. I guess that's how they get us to pay. The administration team is a joke, I've had issue's enrolling my child, and now issue's with getting them to cooperate and removing her from the school. They never answer their phone's or fax. I'm just glad we moved and my child has an opportunity in a better school.
This school sucks balls and i dare all my teachers to give me a detention.. come and get it
I tried to enroll my daughter and we are from California. We got there at 8am and was greeted very unprofessionally and left to wait for more then 4 hrs. We still didn t get to see anyone or enroll my daughter. Everyone we spoke to was rude and not helpful at all. This was the worst impression anyone could give
