This school is the worst, for the 4 years I have been here it really does suck, I've only had about 8-10 good teachers out of the 24 I've had, and I can name them down below. All the other teachers are jokes and don't teach at all. You would think this school is only good for the magnet programs but its not, the principal only cares about ram tech and the science biology program, she does not fund anything else. FUN fact the principal was almost fired because she was holding off the school money since she didn't want to spend any of it. She also was 1 month late on the light bill for the school and FPL was mad and calling her like crazy. She has done nothing beneficial for this school except try and make up more rules which doesn't work, this school sugar coats that we are a C or B school but in reality this is ACTUALLY a D school. I do not recommend for any parents to bring their child to this school. It hasn't gotten better, for the past 6-8 years now. And that says a lot since we have stuck with the same principal for now. The security guards especially sharen are very rude, sharen always humiliates you if you are walking in the hallway and she literally screams at you, she treats students as if we are prisoners and criminals. No one takes uniform seriously, the administration and staff do nOT help in the office, and especially all the assistant principal and those who work in the same office as the principal have very nice cars, Lexus, Mercedes, Acura, Porsche. While all the other teachers have decent cars or really old cars. Its obvious to notice who gets more numbers in their checks when they don't even do a good job. I don't think that This school hasnt helped me to be prepared for what college is really like but i had to go and do it myself. The only classes you actually learn in are in Honors or AP , even then some of those honors or ap teacher just tell you to copy from the book and learn on your own and that's "teaching". Now they want to enforce ID's when they never have throughout all the four years I've been here... and if you don't have one they charge you $2 how pathetic. If you want to save you or your child four years of bad experience and jail-like life, then don't go here I wish I never came here and went somewhere else but unfortunately I have siblings and my mom didn't want to waste gas.

This school is an interesting place there are tons of sports that nobody cares about such as golf and badminton and the most competitive one is shadow boxing.

Great school. I visited for a PD and it is an awesome location for hosting very large group conferences.

Their is truly one word to describe this school : Incompetent. The staff is lousy and lazy, most of the office workers work from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. this of course includes the 5 councilors (which you can only see in lunch time, which starts at 11:35, because otherwise you would be skipping class) the nurse (which comes once every 3 days and is only available for special needs students) and of course the principal, if she's their; the principal owns a Mercedes, Audi, and a limo but can no longer afford the "privilege" of having food stands around the school like on my freshmen year (2012) to decrease the waiting time in both cafeterias (around 20 - 30 minutes) and she has hired security guards that the only thing that they can do is take bribes from the kids to skip in a lunch line they are supposed to monitor. Most "teachers" just hand out book work to their students and call it teaching and are unreasonable when negotiating with their students and make it their lives mission to fail them by "losing" their work or giving them unfair grades. Truth be told. out of my 4 years in the school I have only had 6 real teachers out of the 24 that I've had, and I've had a "good" experience compared to most students.

Good ambient, staffexcellent staff, the best teacher Team, good location, clean beautiful building, mi songs love this school. This school is very good my children Love this place, we, we moved within its quadrant, just for school, Good SECURITY, and Suuuper Clean Everything.

Completely disappointed by the basketball coach ... a losing team for three seasons and does not change the scheme, the way he constantly shouts at the players is depressing, he is not a motivating figure, he gives 1 or 2 minutes of play to some and to the The first mistake takes him out of the game ... that the player does not make mistakes ... he had the audacity to tell a boy that he did it because he did not have the capacity to be on the team ... for me and many parents with whom I had the opportunity to The only one who is not trained is you to chat ... 3 seasons with more than 60 games and you have only won like 5 ..... What a sadness that the director does not hurt those who go out to sweat the Coral Park shirt. Pain is only for us as parents and for these kids.

I am a student and I have never met a staff more rude. The teachers are great and well educated and prepared. However, the office staff and activities director especially are rude and treat their students like pieces of meat. They have are disrespectful and ignore any question one may bring up. They may go as far as insulting a student or being as petty as engaging in verbal arguments with a student because the level of sass and attitude needs to be put in check. You would think that working with students guarantees a positive attitude or at least kind personality, but stepping foot in CP you realize that these assumptions cannot be made.

Too many wanna be gangsters and irresponsible staff, even the Principal won't take accountability. They let any kid go to this school even when they know the teenagers have behavior problems.
I don't recommend it.

As a parent, I am extremely disappointed with this school and its administration.... how can this school anounce graduation a week and a half before graduation THIS IS UNACEPTABLE........ I am working out of the city and I will miss my son's graduation. Very irresponsable..... this school needs to be audit, specially very concern with students smoking mariguana inside the school, school officials and professor know and they don't do anything about it. Again super disappointed with Coral Park High School..... spanish teacher needs to be changed for the love of GOD.... it is embarrasing for someone like this individual to teach Spanish. A lot of discrimination in this school... please audit this school talk to students get their testimony.
I regret my son graduated from this school.

Honestly my 3 years of this school has been trash. 2017-2018 This school wants to be appeared as a safe school but in reality it isn t. they ignore proper protocols, in an act such as student sending others threats. They don t put us students first. The administration is Garbage. Unprofessional. Teachers have no problem telling a student that their fat(that happened to me today so I decided to right a review) I don t know who hired these teachers . And what s worse is that if I report something to the office only two outcomes will possibly happen. 1) get in trouble 2) or nothing will happen

It s ridiculous I remember my freshman year I always saw people smoking marijuana by the trailer. Every lunch and every morning before school starts.
Once I saw someone walking around the courts (basketball court) holding a blunt. Coral park actually had a problem that year with Xanaxs a lot of people came to class bared out. They didn t kick out the people who they knew was selling it.
!!! But what I don t understand is they give the drug dealers 2 days of csi. But when someone is out of uniform it s 5 days ! WHAT!

This school year was just annoying. They suspended a student for reporting to the office that a male was sending him threats.
How are you gonna suspend a student for coming to you for help
Why? Because the person sending the treats was schizophrenic. So they didn t take it seriously.

But yet they want to make pep rallies for the students that died in the Florida parkland msd school shooting. It s super disrespectful to make posters and act like they care about the tragedy when they won t even take action on the same situation.
