An essential visit for tourists who like to sail. Located near the Spit Bridge, this club hosts mid week and weekend races. Limited parking available at the club, but street parking and a large carpark nearby. Very popular place for drinks and meals after racing.

A nice sailing club house. Beers are actually reasonably priced and the food is nice. They have a couple of function rooms that are worth a look to hire for a party. Hmm nearly forgot to mention that they have a little coffee shop downstairs too, with nice Victoria coffee and good sandwiches, but I got a snag roll form here and they just wacked it in the microwave for 3mins.. it was awful.. otherwise a nice club. Solid four stars.

We went to the bistro for lunch. After some little time my wife was informed that her mains choice, 'jungle lamb curry' was not available. She agreed to 'spicy chicken skewers' as a substitute.
Much later I was told that my main dish, 'lamb and rosemary sausages' could not be complemented with potato mash and I agreed that chips would be OK as a substitute.
After at least 55 minutes our meals materialised but my wife's chicken dish was undercooked, smelt slightly 'off' as was thus inedible.
My revised dish contained beef sausages and not sign of rosemary. Furthermore, the promised onion was missing too.
Thankfully the lovely young lady on bar duty agreed to refund my wife for her meal.
The food gets no stars but the services will receive one star because of that very obliging young lady,

Great venue for the annual Property Industry Foundation Sailing Regatta.

I had a fantastic day volunteering for a great cause, in a magnificent waterfront location.

All the staff were very helpful, professional and made things happen that normally would have been a hard task.

A great location to just enjoy the middle harbour views or get out on a boat large or small.

We went to celebrate my birthday, a relaxing family lunch with a great view, having eaten there before about 18 months ago and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately this time the food was terrible. I am not usually one to complain but not one of our 10 meals was worth paying for. We sent the fish and chips back as it was just batter (burnt) and hardly any fish, which was poor quality when you came across it! A replacement meal appeared and looked pretty much the same as the first plate, albeit with slightly less burnt batter. The burgers were tasteless and in 'compensation' we received yet another burger (not asked for and definitely not required!). The seafood pasta was cold and looked and tasted as though the spaghetti has just had bottle of tomato sauce stirred through it. The view is wonderful yet the food let the whole occasion down. I don't know who the chef was but he needs a good talking to... Very disappointing.

Great wedding venue

Great wedding venue
The team at MHYC did an awesome job of making our day a truly fun and joyous occasion. They were helpful throughout and the private beach service was an ideal location for our wedding.
The entire event run smoothly and fortunately they had anticipated everything we needed.

What a fantastic place to book an event! Just had my birthday lunch for 27 people. The food, service, location and staff are exceptional. Overall great value for money and a lovely place to spend the day. Highly recommended.

A bit tried. Never had a decent restaurant now seem to have given up completely and gone back to basic bar food. Unfortunately unless you sail and in particular race from there I am afraid there's not much to draw you there as a venue. Good sailing school and riggers and a friendly and help boat broker there too.

Google listing needs updating. It states the bar closes at 9pm but were told on arrival at 5.30pm it in fact closes at 6pm. A good thing we were just passing and hadn't not come a long way especially to visit this place.

Dropped in for a quivk look. Didnt get out of the car. Bloody parking meters. Passed tge parking meter patrol on the way out. Used to race out of middle harbour on a yacht called Group Therapy. Fond memories from 25 years ago

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I rang 4 times before saying I was not hanging up until I spoke to someone. They then said they would call me when bookings open. Needless to say they did not bother and then I happened to go online only to find it was fully booked. This is the worst organisation I have ever dealt with. If they had no spaces why waste my time promising to call. Such a joke.

Plenty of parking but you have to buy a ticket. It beats paying the $200 fine though. Great amenities with a cafe and restaurant. Yacht storage available. Change rooms have clothes washing facilities. Wheelchair access, paddleboard hire and sailing school on site.
