I have worked at Metropolitan for many years and found the management to be very professional and the office a great place to work.

I called Metropolitan Properties of America, Inc. three times regarding problems I am having with Sphere Apartments in Cleveland, Ohio, and sent two emails. No one returns calls or responds to emails. I can't seem to get passed the receptionist with my problems. I explained to her what I was calling about and she told me to email her the details and she will forward to the appropriate person and someone will get back to me. No response whatsoever!!! No wonder Sphere Apartments in Cleveland, Ohio has such a poor reputation. I guess it stems all the way down from their managing company!!!!

As a professional, I am very disturbed and upset with the level of service this company provides to their customers. On a property level, the management team is rude, disorganized, and not pleasant to work with. At the corporate level, there is not visibility or empathy from the leadership team. When I called to express the issues that I was having and why I decided to not lease an apartment home with their company, Ariel, an employee in the Operations Department, was very defensive and provided no empathy towards my poor experience. The was not the 1st time I reached out to my company with my concerns; I received no response the prior times that I called. I was hoping to reach a resolution with this phone call but she ended it with saying that "My complaints do not matter because I am not a tenant." I have reason to believe that tenants are also having similar issues. Its a shame because I really liked the community but I refuse to live somewhere with rude, shady managers.

I am maintenance tech at one of the properties. Great group of guys and good leadership!

I moved into my apartment at Lakecrest Shoreline, St. Joseph, Michigan in May 2017. I have had so many issues that are only now being addressed in October. They can t seem to keep a full time complex manager and the regional manager is inadequate!! I believe the only reason my issues have started being addressed is because I sent an email to the corporate office in Boston. I would not recommend this property!!

During my 1 year tenure with Metropolitan properties I've gained so much knowledge and support from the corporate team. Everyone is pleasant, always willing to help and goes the extra mile to make sure I understand everything. I'm looking forward to many more years and growth with the company.
