Unique view but not to go for lunch: the hotel is in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. In my opinion such a place must meet expectations even with the food. 2 salads 20 each, to say the least disappointing. Salad in bag with sliced cherry tomatoes and salmon on top. Sin.

We went to have a coffee here this morning. Italy is famous for coffee, but even though it was the most expensive cappuccino we ever had in Italy(EUR 8) it was the worst at the same time. OK, the service was also far below expectation, but the best thing at this place is the view!

I WANTED TO RESERVE A STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM.

I WANTED TO RESERVE A STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM.
THE RECEPTION TELLS ME THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE I HAVE A SMALL OF SIX MONTHS AND THEREFORE FOR COMPANY PROVISIONS CAN NOT BE HOSTED BY THE HOTEL.

As against expensive prices for Sicily: Espresso and cappuccino 5 to 8 but the view and 5 star service are worth it!

Amazing views and setting. Horrible service. Honestly if you sit at a 5 star hotels bar you have expectations other wise I would just go to a pub and shut up and drink type of thing ... sorry but the waiter forgot my second drink and the other one was too busy to look amazing to notice that our table needed things ..

A lovely place to have a (very, very expensive) drink on the terrace whilst watching the evening world go by. The drinks and service were great, though the food was a huge letdown and distinctly average, especially for the price. Two drinks at the bar, two main courses and two glasses of wine was 150.

Wonder of wonders. Lovely place to spend relaxing days in Taormina. Have breakfast in the morning, spend the evening for dinner in a place that is nothing short of enchanting, priceless ... sentence made? In this case, no! It is worth it cm for cm and then the staff is very kind and extremely available. Phenomenal view ... then if you want a sunken pool with blue mosaic ... this is also in the hotel. Prices in line with the offer!

THIS PLACE WILL ROB YOU

THIS PLACE WILL ROB YOU

Nice hotel and a dramatic location, but if you eat or stay here, expect to be fleeced. Of course the rooms are outrageously expensive, but even having paid that, they offer mediocre wine for 12 a glass (in a country where you can buy good BOTTLES for half as much), and a restaurant so expensive it's nearly deserted at dinner time.

While it's generally a nice place, several glaring maintenance issues make it fall well short of 5-star: ragged, dirty carpet in places, a smell in the hallways, AC that didn't quite keep up with the heat, and this in late May. Some of the rooms will be uninhabitable during summer.

To add insult (literally) to injury, our group was hit with a 50 per room surcharge for eating and drinking our own food in the pool area. We interacted with several of their staff during that time, and there was no mention of any issue with that until we checked out. When we complained, the owner was incessantly rude and insulting, so be warned: staying here implies your consent for them to treat you like trash, and rob you on top of that.

Our credit card companies will prevent them from actually profiting from this, but we suggest you consider the many fine alternatives and avoid this place.

Passing through after dinner on a warm August evening.
Moonlight Prosecco in an atmosphere of other times, in the background a Jazz selection of "all respect" and candles that light up just the fantastic terrace overlooking the sea.

We are at the restaurant while visiting Taormina. The view was so captivating we thought we should definitely go there. We should have turned around as soon as we were greeted by the wait staff. Or should I say not greeted. They didn't even acknowledge our presence for 10 minutes. They were rude and nasty. Maybe it was because we were not Italian or older white couple. Anyone who was under the age of 40 was not even tended to... We had to continually request for our drink order to be filled. The salad was horrible and the pizza was nothing to write home about. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

Most expensive place I think I've been to in my life. 20 aperol spritz which I can kind of accept for the location but it's a very mediocre version with maybe 25% aperol and 75% spritz. . Stars can only be given for the view.

Start to finish fantastic. They ya dour room ready early with an upgrade. Amazing boutique hotel nestled on the hillside. Great lounge bar with epic views. Staff goes above and beyond the call. Upon arrival my wife s leather sandal sole had come off the porter noticed asked to take the sandal fixed it and had it returned within the hour. Bravo. If I could give 6 stars I would. The spa is super small with great services. Breakfast options were nice and again amazing staff. Thanks.

It sets itself apart from the tourists and offers a beautiful view. Suffering a little more expensive, but forever an experience for life.

Outstanding views and service, if you like Gin then it s for you - they have a great selection. Well worth a visit. Yes it costs more for the drinks but the view, service and light food they serve with your drink is worth it.

Fantastic aperitivo on the terrazza with live jazz music. Hard to say what the highlight was- worth every . The staff were truly amazing , attentive, genuine, with great attention to detail. Decor, ambience, stunning views, delectable selection for aperitivo. And the quality of the band and vocalist was world class.

The place is undoubtedly spectacular, a breathtaking view of the gulf, the attentive and precise service, I took a glass of an excellent ETNA mandrarossa, during a fabulous jazz night, the sore point was receiving food, in morsels, but really mini, on poorly made plastic bowls, a plate of cold and tasteless fried foods, it was better objectively not to offer them! I hope you run for cover to correct this flaw.

Stopped here for a drink in between sightseeing, it was a hot enough day to sit on the terrace. Staff were very quick, drinks were nice and the bar snacks were particularly good. It was definitely worth the visit.
