I have worked with Metro Group for years and have always found them to be professional, competent and responsive to their customer's needs. The owners work hard to provide a high level of service to the communities they manage and they have a fantastic support staff to help ensure their lofty standards are met. Highly recommended!

Our Association is small in comparison to, what I ...

Our Association is small in comparison to, what I would consider, the sweet spot for this property manager. However, I must say we have been considered a client of equal importance to the other properties managed by Metro Group Management Corp. So your next question should be, why?

It's quite simple: A well run organization such as a Condo Association, on first blush, should basically run itself: collect the HOA fee, communicate with the Co-Owners on a neighborly basis, plan for projects to enhance the value of the Association at large, which in turn benefits each Co-Owner and once a year conduct a 'state of the Association' meeting where formal business is transacted. The Property Manger, in this example functions as a silent partner.

A Property Manager earns their stripes when the opposite of what I just described occurs. In the eighteen months since hiring Metro Group Management, this organization has excelled in guiding this Association through a significant capital expense project, unruly and in some cases deceitful accusations among Co-Owners (neighbors) and has seemingly dropped everything to provide the guidance and balance to this Association in the endeavor of doing nothing other than enhancing the economic value of this Association.

J.C. Palmer, as leader of this group, is a consummate professional. His staff cares about each property under their management. Decisions made with the concurrence of the Board may not always please all but the decisions are made with the one goal in mind: continual improvement of the property in question.

Pam McNamee, Property Manager, at Metro Group lies...

Pam McNamee, Property Manager, at Metro Group lies, is corrupt and can't be trusted. She has been told by the Pinehurst Condominium attorney to allow the co-owners to see the financials and she is flat out refusing. We recently uncovered that she is putting Board member projects that they were suppose to be paid for by board members themselves on to other association projects and hiding the costs on the bills for board members to have the association cover those costs. She has stated there is no extra money from a roof assessment, yet the contract and payments the co-owners paid show that over $20,000 was overpaid and Pam McNamee states there is no extra money. She refuses to tell the co-owners where the money is, what is going and has provided no updates, board meeting minutes or anything in almost 2 years. She recently sent out a letter for the annual meeting in December that only 1 board seat is open, yet all 3 board seats are open and has conspired with the current board to try and keep them on the board to continue the corruption. She does not follow the bylaws ever and can't be trusted. Do not use Metro Group if Pam McNamee is going to be your property manager. Several co-owners have caught her in lies and she can't be trusted with money or anything else. She has also recently sent out an assessment letter demanding $6,000 from each co-owner, yet the bylaws state there must be a vote from co-owners for anything over $1,000. She also sent out another letter asking for signatures for an amendment to the bylaws and it must be signed by Nov. 30th, yet the bylaws state there must be a vote at an annual meeting or special meeting. The bylaws state the annual meeting are to be in April, yet she schedules them in December. Having Pam McNamee as a property manager is a nightmare. She has no idea what she is doing, doesn't read the bylaws and violates the Michigan Condominium Act of 1978.

Our Board recently switched over to Metro Group and I have to say was a huge and positive change they have made to our community as a whole. They are professional, on point and take the time to address co-owner concerns on a case by case basis. We couldn't be happier.

Pam McNamee is our Property Manager. JC Palmer is her Principal. They and their entire team at MGMC are the kind of professionals any property organization would be fortunate to engage and rely on. They were referred to us as seasoned and capable pros; our experience together has proven nothing less. Their reputation is beyond reproach. Their integrity and timely attention to detail reassuring. The math is simple. Our needs are their priority and their results . . . appreciation. Our Board accomplishes more in less time while Pam McNamee and team work hard increasing our homes values and curb appeal. Its that simple.

Our association switched to Metro Group Management...

Our association switched to Metro Group Management after a long time with a do nothing unresponsive management company. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude for Kathy's responsiveness and attention to detail. She jumped right in and began talking care of problems that have been going on for YEARS. Keeping us posted on all issues and actually following up after, just to check on us, now that's customer service. I highly recommend Metro Group We are lucky to have Metro and Kathy taking care of us.

Metro Group refuses to fix our air, doors and many items around our complex. It has been terrible since they have been engaged in our complex several years ago. It gets worse every year and treats new owners badly.

The service I have received from this company is outstanding. Everytime I have submitted a request I have gotten a prompt reply and quick resolution. One time when my roof was leaking a repair person arrived in less than an hour. Highly recommended.
