Efficient website, purchase and delivery. However package arrived damaged with stainless steel rod sticking out of one end and no invoice supplied.

Waited 2 weeks for metal to be delivered from Aalco and gave up and ordered from Metals4U. The tube was delivered 48 hours later and I am a happy customer

Terrible company please AVOID! Lots of items on their website claim to be in stock however they are not they just order it from somebody else then after some time of being unable to send you your required items they let you know and say we'll update our website now...... but they don't ! Try anyone else just don't use this company you'll be out of pocket and would have wasted a lot of time.

I ve had two types of service excellent to average. My second experience was average order not confirmed had to email told would be delivered it wasn t so again given Saturday delivery which was delivered on Monday. The lady cielo dealt with it great she was just getting run around with warehouse. I m going to buy again but little quicker on the information side would be nice. Thank you great products and service

I ordered three angle irons more than two weeks ago. The goods were allegedly dispatched two days after I placed the order. But the items never made it to the collection depot. Metals4u did not provide good tracking information for my order, so it took me a few days to realise my order was not arriving. In the course of little over a week, I sent three emails. None were answered. Then I called them. It took them another day to tell me that their courier, Tuffnells, had somehow "misplaced" a 3 meter metal bar and is unable to find it. They offer no apology or urgency to remedy the situation.

Instead, they promised to produce the order again and ship this to me. Unfortunately, they insist on using Tuffnells again. This time, the product shipped and I received shipping updates from the courier as the package allegedly made its way to the delivery depot. On Saturday 12 December 2020, the status changed to "out for delivery". On Monday 14 December, the status was still "out for delivery". Late in the evening, the status suddenly changed to "Delivered". But I did not receive anything. I have been home for the past three days. I have a Ring doorbel and two CCTV cameras pointed at my front yard. No shipment from Tuffnells arrived. Proof of delivery is not forthcoming.

I strongly advise against ordering from metals4u. They cannot be relied upon to produce goods within a reasonable amount of time since they have decided to have their goods shipped by cowboys. Order from them at your own risk. There are other places that produce similar products.

The customer service line just rings through and no one picks up. The same result no matter how many time you ring.

I used this company for the first time and was very disappointed with the service I received. I ordered material on line and paid straight away only to receive an e mail telling me some of the parts were not in stock. I called them and they advised me the parts would be ready in 2 days and they would e mail to confirm. I did not receive any contact for 3 days so I went to the site. The person I met was confused as none of my cutting list had been passed on and they had not started to put together my order. The job I was doing was delayed by a week costing me a lot of money and I did not even get an apology from anyone. I would not be using this company again.
