Sadly the MERS Goodwill of Missouri does not accept returns for online purchases. I purchased a really expensive game that did not work and was broken and they would not honor a return. The large game was also sent in a makeshift box with pieces loose in the shipping box. Buyer beware! I will never risk an online purchase with them again.

I went into a O'Fallon MO Goodwill store, as a woman living out of my car, with little money, asking if they could spare a blanket. Management would not do so, although they have a lot of warm things in this store but I was referred to a charity in St. Charles, which is about 30 miles away. I told the asst. manager that I didn't have enough gas to get there but he was indifferent to this and still would not help. I don't think much of Goodwill and I don't think they don't deserve the free donations they get, since they are not charitable. I think people should only give donations to a thrift store who will be charitable to others in need which Goodwill will not.

I worked for Mers for several years. It was great to see so many people with no skills trained to be able to go out into the job market and find meaningful jobs to support their families.

I won a bid online and the items I received were junk. I wanted to return them and they refused returns. I will never purchase anything from them again. BEWARE! There are no gaurentees or refunds for the items you get online. If it is junk, or broken, you are stuck with it! I have had several simular experiences this year with goodwill industries. I have spent thousands online over the past few years supporting goodwill. I also supported my local goodwill with thousands of dollars worth of cloths, furniture, electronics, etc. Missouri goodwill is the worst. I will no longer support the goodwill industry. There are other organizations that can us the money/donations.

I have called five numbers to get the correct number to donate a car. Each time I called and asked for the number I was given a nonworking number. The number you have in your website is non-working . How do I get a number to donate to your organization? It makes me want to call another organization

Just had an awful experience on the phone with a women who continuously talked over me until I finally just told her thank you and good bye. The lady was filling in for someone who was on vacation and probably should not be allowed to take phone calls. Seconds into the call she was irate and raising her voice.
The reason for my call is to find out what is going to be done about those of us who donated our vehicles last year for cardinals tickets that we were unable to use due to covid. Yes, I'm aware my vehicle went to someone that needed it, but I chose mers specifically for the baseball tickets and it is of no fault of my own that the games were cancelled and the tickets were void.
I could have kept my vehicle and given it to my 17 yo who starts EMT program at forest park in thefall. I could have used my vehicle as part of my down payment on my new car, or I could have sold my vehicle and gotten 1000$, all of these things I could have done, but I chose compassion and baseball tickets instead. The only thing wrong with the car was the starter had just gone out in it. Towing the vehicle was part of the agreement you made .It was auctioned off for more than $1,000 according to the receipt I received to file my taxes.
I've emailed and not gotten a response.I 'd like to know what's going to be done for those of us that were stiffed on the cardinal games. The understanding was that I would recieve usable Cardinals tickets; you've failed to deliver on your end of the agreement.@stlnews@stlcards
update 4/3\21:
Still no email.
More often than not "I'm sorry you feel that way" is a non-apology apology. Gaslighters are masters of the conditional apology. That's not an apology; the other person is not taking responsibility for their behavior, they're simply manipulating you.
