Great staff, only wait 45 mins for table, and everywhere else tonight was almost 2 hours. Food is fantastic, and there is a outdoor firepit, which was very lovely on this chilly night. Will definitely come back in the future

Garlic parmesan fries are amazing. So many burgers! And the shakes are the perfect amount of creamy and sweet.

Fun little spot for a creative sandwich and tater tots. I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomato BLT and small Poutine tots with either a Shandy on a hot summer day or a hearty stout. You will not be disappointed. Not in the mood for BTL, the classic Fried Bologna is delicious!

Great salmon sandwich and sweet potato fries and a excellent selection of Michigan draft beers.

This place has really good burgers and fries. I also tried a malt but it was a little too thick for me. Other than that, service is great. Servers are nice and speedy

The food was awesome as always!! The "bartender" (tall thin shaved head don't know his name because he hardly said more then 10 words) was extremely unorganized with zero personality. Screwed up both orders, tried to overcharge because the computers weren't working and he OBVIOUSLY can't do math. Added $10.00 tax for a $50.00 tab. I asked 3 times for our bill and it took us standing up with my money put for him to get together. When I told him he added on food I specifically told him we didnt want, his answer was "Oh" . Plus I asked twice for a shirt and he was "looking" for it, but he never left the bar. The woman next to us added up her bill in her head and just threw money down because she couldn't wait any longer.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE BY ENTIRE STAFF

Came there on a Friday during lunch with a party of 8. Our waitress was amazing. I can't remember her name, but she had lavender colored hair, and she was superb! Stayed on top of our drinks, updated us on our food wait time, was extremely attentive and professional. And our food, omg! It was delicious! I got "The Juicy" and added a fried egg and bacon, with their seasoned fries. They were SOOO good! And the St. Germaine drink was delicious, strong enough and smooth enough. It was just right!

Fun place with good burgers, hand cut fries, loaded up tots and rings . The milk shakes and hummers are to die for.

My favorite bartender works here and she is the sweetest person ever. Christina makes the best mixed drinks and always makes sure your food comes out the kitchen to you excellently.

At first when I saw my bill for $47 I was thinking well that's kind of pricey for kind of bar burger food but after we tasted the food and the quality of it is worth the money that we spent the best bar burger I've had in awhile and my daughters chicken sandwich was very yummy

I'm in Detroit Michigan from Los Angeles California one week of each month. I Googled restaurants and Mercury Burger popped up as a comparable to Islands and Stacked in my area of LA. Google was right, this place is all that and then some. The food, people and customers are friendly and very nice. I'll be eating here every chance I can when I want a burger; Thanks Mercury.

One of my go tos. Good beer selection, great burgers (black bean burger is a favorite of mine) and AMAZING poutine tots. Canadian approved. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place for dinner, or late night snacks and drinks. Great food, and a wide variety of drink choices. The staff was great as well. This is one heck of a cool place to check out, very "retro diner" feel to it.

Good experience. Nice patio seating. Delicious bacon cheeseburger. Husband enjoyed his beer. Baby girl smashed on the fries. I'd return.

Today was not the best day for lunch at the Mercury Burger Bar, our party was placed in the basement, it smelled kind of strange or damp, in addition I m uncertain there was an exit strategy, in the event there were a fire. The hamburgers were to dry and too expensive, for how dry they were, the Ore-Ida brand tater tot s seem to resemble an unknown brand/ less than quality brand X, but the shakes and french fries were ok. Buyer beware. Deh ; )

We loveee Mercury bar!! It is one of our favorite places to go in Corktown. We love their black bean burger and salmon burger as our go tos! Plus you cannot beat their shakes and totts!! We have taken many family and friends here and look forward to going back soon. We also love that they are pet friendly we can bring our pup with us during the good weather months!!

Nice patio area. Poutine and the chili cheese tots were on point. I've enjoyed their burger multiple times but today I got the NY Burger which was overcooked, onions were fresh instead of grilled, meat did not taste very fresh, very little thousand island, sauerkraut and I didn't even taste the bit of corned beef. Our waiter was very understanding and took it off the bill. Overall service was great.

Great place to get a good burger and milkshake. The poutine fires may be a but too salty for your liking, but try salted caramel or pbj milkshake.

I only stopped for a beer but found the people friendly and the joint well kept. I will return.

It was way too over hyped. Burger was bland even with the pulled pork on top. No flavor at all. The poutine tots was meh as well. No real flavor in the food.

Nice menu with lots of choices for burgers. I decided on Fried Bologna sandwich on Onion Roll. It was delicious! Loved fried bologna when I was a kid, growing up.

Ambiance was great. We decided to sit outside which was even better on a summer night. The location had parking in the rear which was free so no complaints there. I ordered garlic fries and a nyny burger. Very flavor full cooked to a perfect medium well. My girl friend got the portobello mucho burger which was tasty

Been here twice now, and it's been stellar both times.

Spent the afternoon downtown and got hungry since I've always heard about Mercury Burger spot I had to try it and I'm glad I did! the bbq pulled pork on top of the burger was awesome along with the grilled chicken caesar salad. Will be back to try more soon!

Usually really good, but the past 2 visits were just meh. Turkey burger tasted of fillers and beef burger was over cooked twice. I want the mercury burger from 2014!!

Food was amazing im a commercial driver i have been all over the nation and the burgers are bye far the best!

Meh... Burgers are good but undersized. Putine was OK; curds were wayyy to small was almost like grated cheese. I want huge sweaty curds on my putine. I was disappointed. Burger, Fries, and a beer will run you 18 bucks + tip. Seems to be that standard overpriced hipster food.

Been a Detroiter since 1984, not sure how long the business has been operating. However, I should have patronized a long time ago. Thoroughly enjoyed my burger, garlic fries, my drink and the service provided by wait staff. This would have been a five star experience, but I was seated upstairs the last cold Sunday in March, we dined with heavy jackets & a chill my entire stay. It was freezing everytime the door opened. Should add a small vestibule to prevent this as noticed others were bundled as well.

I always love coming to this place for beer and a burger! They have a great selection for all different tastes and a specials menu that changes often. I personally get the French Onion. They also have a wide variety of fries whether you want them for yourself or feel like sharing a couple and those could be regular or sweet potato or you could even opt for tater tots. It is always a great experience and I love changing it up each time. Always finish with a milkshake or a Boston Cooler. Service is great and food is consistently delicious. I would go here alone or with friends! It is always a delight!

Upscale hipster bar in Cork town area of Detroit. Good burgers decent drinks. Avoid the poutine as they use jar gravy, and the shakes were a bit thin and watery. Good artisanal beer selection though.
