Great burgers. My fav is the onion burger. Layers of onion flavor and texture. Fries and tots are both really good. I love the poutine fries and the garlic fries. My in laws are still talking about the milk shakes here a year later. Good drink options.

Okay food and sub-par hipster service. A lot of restaurants in Detroit are like this lately with service: If you have a tattoo or piercing, you're in. And you don't have to be friendly to your guests anymore. But you still get a great tip! I'm over it. 2 stars for the food, none for the "service".

Always our "go to" especially when it's nice enough to dine outside! The best potinebin town because their fries are so good! Our stable is the juicy and the Chicago Dog. I just tried the Boston cooler with bourbon! Wow!

One of my favorite places to grab a burger/ dog and a beer. Their patio is the best on a summers eve (if you can get a spot). Great Detroit vibe, especially with the train station behind. I would highly recommend it to people from out of town that are looking for an authentic casual place to eat, the whole Cork town area is proof of Detroit's revival.

The staff was helpful but the beer selection is narrow and the place was crowded and cramped. The food was decent if overpriced. I feel like hipsters would really appreciate this place more than I did.

This place is amazing! We got a regular burger with pickles and a s'mores milk shake, a burger with cheese and pulled BBQ pork and a chili cheese dog. All of it was amazing! And the service was fast, polite, and welcoming.

The outdoor patio was very comfortable. I had the Flint Burger and poutine tots. The burger was great. The poutine tots were a bit salty but you can't expect much less from french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Service was very good and quick.

I wish they had name tags for their waitresses because I would give ours a shout out! She came back to check on us numerous times and made sure we had what we needed as far as condiments and drinks. We received our order rather fast which was another plus I ordered the bacon cheddar burger and my love had the classic with american and bacon I feel like we ordered the same burger just different names and cheese they were cooked perfect and all fresh veggies as toppings I believe my love had grilled onions as well. The fries were a sharable size and can be ordered as such and they come seasoned however you like. We chose black pepper and sea salt cooked medium. The fries will make you shed three tears: one from each eye and one from your mouth once paired with your burger that's how good they are. Soft parade beer and red Faygo soda is how we washed it all down. Hands down one of the best burger restaurants in Detroit

Burgers were really greasy, but decent. The service is somewhat slow, but they allow indoor dining and have outdoor patio seating that was nice. Overall the food and experience were decent, but not good or great.

A nice diner-style bar in the heart of Corktown. The restaurant has nice outdoor seating in the terrace, and the location is good for bar hopping as there are plenty of bars and food spots in the area. Food is very good, and the drink options are sure to satisfy anyone. The price is mid-range compared to other establishments in this area.

The server we had was so very cheerful. Best burger I think I've ever had. The place itself has such a lovely atmosphere. The prices ain't bad either. Can't wait to go again and make it a place I stop everytime I'm in town.

Cozy main floor with generous booths and tables. An area downstairs for larger groups. We were there around 1:00pm so just past the busy lunch hour. Bora was our server-- very friendly and efficient.
The tomato bisque soup was delicious!! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato and avocado. Chicken was perfect with a slightly grilled taste--very nice. My husband had the bacon cheddar burger that he loved. He ordered fries. FYI: All the fries and onion rings are fried in lard. Nice indulgence but lard??
The Mercury Bar has no signage outside. Look for the metal sculpture of the steer outside. Street parking. Some free and some pay.

I've been here busy or not busy, they have excellent service. The only problem I have is that they rotate menus.Or swap specials something like that.So when my husband and I came here for the first time I ordered the "puertorican elvis burger "OMY good grief it was amazing. Yes, Im PuertoRican.
look; penut butter guava plaintains. The most amazing thing in the world my problem is every other time I've came I cant get my hands on it because they are not serving it.Which sucks when you are pregnant and craving something. It was turture.I tried to hard to get another one of those and that didnt happen. But Ive had a lot of their foods & they are So Good. Real Food, with great quality.
Place is a must go to in Detroit.
Now if I could just have that recipe for "PEB" so I could make it at home would be aswesome(:

food was average. the fries were good. the chorizo burger was not good, but the bun was. the waiter 312 Adam K. gave me attitude from the moment he came to the table. He was smirking when i got up and asked to get the checks after we were done eating 15 mins prior. When he was handing out the bills, he gave me a sarcastic look. Boy, i wish he had said something else.

Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but never as bad as Slow's BBQ (across the street). Food is fantastic here, but I hate when they seat me in the basement. Patio is awesome in the warmer months!

Sometimes they are extra busy during peak times and you are sometimes left on hold because of how busy they are but other than that the food is great the atmosphere is a good just note when calling in you may have to call in a couple of times when it's extremely busy like lunchtime game days and holidays

I cannot say enough nice things about this place! They keep it simple but fresh, and there isn't a bad thing on the menu. If you are a poutine lover, definitely go for the poutine tots, and their milkshakes are the best as well. Also a spot I would recommend for the spring and summer since their little back patio is just the right size!

I got a pulled pork burger with Cole slaw (I think they might have messed my order up honestly but I'm not complaining at all). I ended up getting a normal cheeseburger with Cole slaw, and let me say it was still phenomenal. The meat was cooked perfectly. I highly recommended this place.

This is one of the few places in metro Detroit where you can get real authentic POUTINE. That's right, they sell poutine here, Canada's greatest invention. And best of all it's actually authentic, I've been to Montreal and had the best Canada has to offer... This poutine isn't far off.

This place has mouthwatering burgers and offerings too (hence why it's a burger bar). With every bite delicious burger juices exploded in my mouth, combined with the mind blowing taste of the poutine it created a food induced state of trance.

The milkshakes are pretty special too, the Orange Creamsicle milkshake had just the right taste to it where you feel addicted and desiring more.

The atmosphere is very unique, it's got a Detroit feel with an old diner/slightly urban feel. Something great to take anyone from out of town visiting to, or your buds before a game.

I highly suggest coming here to give it a try, you'll leave satisfied and eager for your next return.

This place is horrible!! My roommate and I ordered one of the turkey burgers and we noticed it was raw when we already ate most of the burger. Because of this, I suffered from food poisoning for 4 days straight. Do NOT recommend this place at all, especially if they cannot cook a common turkey burger patty properly.

Delicious burger and an awesome experience at Mercury, really glad my family and I decided to check them out last weekend! Ordered The Local burger from their menu, very tasty and was highly satisfied! Cool atmosphere, variety of seating options indoor, outdoor with canopy, or outdoor open air. They have a great variety of burger types and options, something for every taste and a must-see for any burger lover in Detroit! Nice corner bar location in Corktown right by the old Michigan Central Station. Definitely can see myself coming back to this place!
