This Mercedes Benz Dealership and Service Center in Belmont, California gets a well deserved review. 5 Stars all the way!
I brought my vehicle in for a recall which I was notified and made aware of via mail. I called and scheduled a convenient appointment with Jessica, who showed me excellent customer service.
'Reed Paulsen' was the rep who took care my problem at no cost! He even went above and beyond to give my Benz a multi point vehicle inspection, sanitization, complimentary tire, and chasis inspection and car wash at no charge...
I was also given a 2020 MB SUV courteousy car to use, as my car was being serviced at NO CHARGE.
If I ever decide to have any services or repairs done to my MB in the future, it will be with the Autobahn of Belmont. Fantastic customer service and a beautiful showroom!

I have always serviced my car at Autobahn; 2 Mercedes and generally receive excellent customer service.

My last visit for my GLK was a bit off. I had to wait far too long for the paperwork to arrive at the cashier despite being called and told the car was ready several hours prior to my arrival. Somehow your service rep. has to walk it up front and explain it to you. I waited a good 20 minutes for the paperwork to arrive.

There was some upsell for service packages upon arrival. Not sure if this is new. However, I haven t found a trustworthy alternative.

Maybe just an off day. Going to service the second Mercedes shortly. Let s see if the experience is better.

Very bad experience with Autobahn the last time I was there. All they want to do is make more money from their loyal consumers. Autobahn s Service Dept is a rip off! I recently brought my gl450 because of a failing turbo which I mentioned to a certified technician 2 years ago when my vehicle was still under warranty. The tech was not able to determine the problem. Basically while driving, my vehicle will start driving sluggish and very slow even though I m stepping on the gas. Then it would drive normal again. No error message and check engine light on. I brought my car to a local mechanic and they were able to figure out that the turbo is failing. To make the story short my vehicle is no longer under warranty so Autobahn quoted me $3,200 for a new turbo and parts only trying to tell me that Mercedes Benz will cover $2,400 worth of labor as a courtesy . I told them my local Mechanic quoted me $2,500. So after a week of going back and forth they matched my mechanic s price. WOW! I decided not to give more money to Autobahn and brought my car back to the mechanic who s more knowledgeable than Autobahn s certified mechanic . After seeing some of the reviews, I understand why you consumers are so frustrated. We pay almost $100k and these techs want to rip us off more by overcharging on auto service. I will never go back to Autobahn!

They stayed open late to finish the paper work the day I purchased it. It needed detailing and some work - they did it over this weekend. Every person at the dealership has been very professional!

Great service! Andrew was my service advisor. He was kind of enough to work directly with my insurance company to provide photos and any info they needed to approve the claim. My insurance company caused a lot of delays. Andrew stayed on top of them and emailed me updates on a daily basis.

I must praise the adviser Anthony Jayakoddy who was showing his professional and patience to provide the best service.
I supposed to pick up my car at 6pm, but I couldn't make it. I told Anthony about my situation and he showed me his understanding and promise me wait for me in our call. I arrived at 7:30pm, it was real late, Anthony Jaykoddy was still waiting for me as he promised and with a big smile. I real appreciate his patience, understanding, professional.
It was a great experience.

Charge on labor was not disclosed to customer for Road side service prior to work. When I told the rep, they said it is too late to reverse the labor cost because I signed the credit card voucher. What can I do at that time? Terrible...I own four MBZ because the cars are reliable but the Road side service and the service at the dealership are both bad, need improvement.

I stoped in today to have an extra key made for my 2000 mercedes. They told me over the phone I needed to pay in advance, so they could order the correct copy and then come in to have it programed in 3 days for 45 min. When I arrived they told me I would have to leave my car so they could order a duplicate key for 3 days with no loaner car. They said the reason was people had ordered keys, paid for the key and then sold their car within 3 days and had not come back to pick up the extra keys. They said they collected a large amount of keys that they no way getting rid of and it was creating a storage problem.

This is by far the lamest excuse I've ever heard...wait 3 days for a duplicate part to come in and then 45 minutes to program the new part and you hold my car for 3 days. You call that customer service.

I live 35 miles from this dealer where the car was purchased. They sent me a coupon for twenty percent off on service so I decided to use them. They have moved to a temporary location during remodeling and nowhere on the coupon, or when I called to make the appointment, was I informed of this temporary location. They have a temporary used car lot across from the construction where I was told incorrectly how to get to the temporary service location. When it became obvious the directions were wrong, I had to go back and ask again. By this time, I was fuming! This is terrible customer service. It would have been very simple to state there was a temporary service location on the coupon they sent me or tell me on the phone when I made the appointment. Instead, the coupon listed their permanent address which was under construction.

When the service advisor took my order, I asked him to reset my clock for Pacific time which he did. He told me he also set it for daylight savings time so I would not have to change it with the time changes anymore. Half way home I noticed the clock was still an hour ahead. I reset it when I got home and now have no idea what he was talking about concerning not having to reset it.

The service on my car was done fine, I think. The car is six years old with only 26,000 miles on it but was getting a bit sluggish. It now drives with more pep and I m happy with that. The car has only been serviced by this dealer and had not been serviced in two years this time because it only had 5,000 miles on it since they last serviced it when they did the 40,000 mile service with only 20,000 miles on the car. I feel that this dealership has become less customer oriented and somewhat lackadaisical. That may just be a problem with California s casual attitude but it was a noticeable difference to me from the other five times they have serviced this car.

He's also trustworthy in the assessment of work to be performed. Overall, Autobahn Motors Mercedes Benz's service location is very clean, organized and again, exemplifies the brand experience.

Autobahn Motors has a great selection, which is important. We were not sure exactly which color (exterior and interior) option we wanted and Autobahn had every option available, which enabled us to make a decision and buy our ideal car on the spot! The service is excellent and the sales team and financing personnel do everything they can to work with buyers to secure the best possible terms so we could drive off with our new car that very day.

We feared we would have to wait in order to get the car we wanted, but Autobahn has EVERYTHING available to get clients what they truly want at the earliest possible time.

Great trade-in terms as well so bring your pink slip with you so you don't need to go home and get it. They're that good!

My 2 service advisors; Andrew and Anthony, they had provided me with excellent customer service. On the other hand, their mechanics had failed to do their job. I know how much EDF approximately my van burns per certain range of miles. It is on fair to pay for the service one receives. In conclusion, that is why I am only giving them 3 stars

I have a 2000 C-class. It's been a solid car for years but unfortunately the shop that has serviced it for 16 years closed. I've now taken it to Autobahn twice in the last 3 months. First experience was meh, second was worse. They didn't fix the problem I initially brought it in for, but did find several other costly repairs that were needed. Granted it's an older model and work is needed as it ages. Took it in two months later to address the initial problem and to have the parts they left detached in the interior during the first service reinstalled. Many dollars later, it's STILL not fixed. Engine has a noise that is now worse than before. Not something that could be missed if they had turned the engine on. Plus, they returned the car to me with the back seat completely detached. I get that they needed to get to the fuel system via the back seat, but to not bother putting the car back together was inexcusable. I've never had a car serviced then returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. I have received zero follow-up from my service manager. I will never take my car back to Autobahn.

Despite the location of Autobahn Motors being extremely convenient for me (I live one exit away), after my most recent service experience, I am never coming back here to service my Sprinter. Autobahn Motors' service department seems to have fundamental operations issues.

I brought my van in for a routine oil change yesterday. Given my last experience, I tried to stay away from the morning rush and scheduled a 10:40 AM appointment. Around 11:20 AM or so, I was informed by a member of the service team that they "found someone who can write you up" that wasn't the assigned service manager (Mark). Jimmy, the new service manager, was friendly and efficient and I was on my way 10 minutes later, but after a 40 minute wait.

Jimmy told me the oil change would probably be done between 4-5 PM. He texts me on schedule at 4:50 PM asking me if I want to pick up tonight before 6 PM when they close. I texted back at 4:52 PM saying we'll be there around 5:45 PM.

Traffic wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, so we ended up arriving around 5:20 PM. I paid for my oil change at 5:30 PM and was told my vehicle was on its way. Thirty minutes go by (they're starting to clean the floors now since it's closing time) and my van is still nowhere to be found. Jimmy stops by to tell me that the vehicles need to be driven from the shop which is not adjacent to the service department, but across the highway and they only have a certain number of drivers who can ferry cars back and forth. Meanwhile there's four members of the sales team sitting around on the other end of the building doing nothing. I wait another 15 minutes, then strike up a conversation with another woman who has been waiting 45 minutes for her car, equally irritated.

Finally at 6:30, a *full hour* after I had paid for my service, my van arrives. To add insult to injury, my wife who had been waiting outside tells me the driver is honking the horn of my van, waving at his friend, "look what I'm driving!" That's not professional and definitely not the behavior of someone who's been urgently driving cars back to the service center from the shop.

I did get a very nice apology from the woman running the cashier desk about the wait, and I sympathized with her situation. It's clear that while the official closing hours are 6 PM, the place stops functioning at 5 PM, yet Autobahn Motors still encourages customers to pick up their cars only to wait for an hour and she's left to deal with the consequences of that.

Overall, I've seen service here deteriorate significantly over my three visits during the last year. I had a fantastic wheel alignment experience w/ Reed, had a slow and non-communicative experience for my Service A, and then was left hanging for an hour well after closing hours yesterday after a basic oil change. I know I'm going to have to likely drive much further to San Jose to find a suitable service center for my Sprinter, but it's worth it.

Good:
The work on the vehicle (20K service on a Sprinter van) seems solid.

Needs improvement:
- It took 50 minutes upon bringing my vehicle in to get it checked in (Check-in time 8 AM, I left at 8:50 AM). Any other dealership I've taken a vehicle to has me in and out in 15 minutes.
- The communication about when my vehicle should be ready wasn't clear. I had the expectation it would be done the same day, as was stated on my invoice. I texted my service advisor at 2 PM the same day so I could plan the rest of my day and didn't get a response. I had to call the next morning for an update again.
- I wanted to purchase a quart of 5W-30 oil from the parts department and it took 25 minutes to retrieve it. Thank you to Alex from the parts department who personally drove to the warehouse where the oil was kept to get it for me.

I bought my 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 last week at Autobahn and I got the best experience. Qui, the dealer, gave me a comprehensive introduction to all the new features of C300 and took me to their garage to see the all the available vehicles. During my decision period, I went to different dealerships, both BMW and Mercedes. Autobahn is the best, they don't push you to make a decision at the first visit. Qui trie his best to help me to get price I want and also gave practical advice. I finance my first car with Key Point Credit Union. Wais, their finance manager, helped me to do the paper work. He is a nice person and explained all the documents to me with case example, I got a bundle deal on warranty+maintenance+tier. Overall, if you want to buy/lease a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, try this dealership and Qui will take care of you.

Edward Goworek is my service manager. He's the best. I brought my car in for regular service and a couple small things. Brake light might not be working correctly and I didn't think my emergency key worked, the one in the fob. When I picked up my car Ed took a few minutes and demonstrated how it works then has me try to be sure I got it. He always takes that extra little effort to make you feel that he cares. Plus my car was spotless.

Car was delivered earlier than expected as well!

Dropped in my C300 for a A1 service saturday morning. Was told that I will receive a call as soon as the car is ready. I never got a call. They are closed on Sundays.
I finally got my car back monday morning. They made me wait for 30 minutes for handing me the keys, I go back to my car only to find it filled with dust.. Not happy with the service.

The difference between the quality of service and the brand of Mercedes is too great, and the ability and attitude of service personnel are in urgent need of improvement.

Support staff are great. Service quality was great. Sonic who now owns service dept. gets low marks from me. A simple oil change takes 7am to 6pm because of the poor logistics of moving cars between buildings. Very frustrating. Don't even arrive before 5:55pm as your car will not be in the lot for you.

One week ago I've opened the doors of Autobahn Motors (service) for the first time ever being greeted by Jose. The overall end-to-end experience was incredible transparent and fair - thank you Jose! There were several hiccups in terms of service quality (e.g. car returned with wipers not working) which delayed the return of my car but those have been addressed by Nick (service manager) immediately. Since then I have joined their service with my wife's car too, everything went smoothly. All in all, I would suggest more attention when servicing AMG engines. Thank you!

All I have to say is I now use another Benz dealer...

All I have to say is I now use another Benz dealer to service my E350. Ever since my original service advisor left the service has gone down hill. From my camera being taken when it was being serviced and they told me to purchase another and when I did they backed out and said oh we will do your next service for free. Now we all know that a regular service truly does not cost 500.00. So just save yourself some headaches and move on!

Here the salesman was extremely patient, thorough, and genuine with his customer service. Autobahn Motors had wonderful and attentive sales people.

When I first began my search for a C300 coupe for my wife, I went to a closer dealership and when I asked a couple of salesmen leaning on a car and talking with each other where I might see other C300 coupes, they matter-a-factly mentioned they were in a lot off site and were in the 50K range. I said thanks and they went back to their conversation.

The staff at Autobahn listened and made it clear that they wanted to work with me in my budget range. There was a no pressure atmosphere and they were very easy and delightful to deal with. In fact, the first salesman I dealt with, Joseph, called and made me aware of a radical sale going on for a day even though he was taking care of a family emergency.

It was an amazing deal and my wife and I bought the car of our dreams.

I highly recommend Autobahn Motors. I traveled 30 miles away from that dealer nearby because of Autobahn's outstanding sales service and inventory.

If you've ever dreamed of owning a Mercedes Benz, Autobahn will have the car of your dreams with a great selection and a great deal and no pressure sales people to work with you.

This place sucks, took my vehicle in to sell, and all was well, spent over an hour in the process only to find out I would receive my check in over a week!!! Seriously??? I sold my vehicle because I needed the money, then they have the nerve to say I couldn't cancel the sell because that was policy, well guess what I got my car back.

Just left there Sunday at 1015am- they were open & some James Spader guy walked up to me & asked if I needed something I said ya I have ten minutes u have a car here I want to drive- I already knew all the ins & outs of a particular AMG - just wanted to drive it- this guy says it s a very complex car & takes lots of time to go over- you could make a appointment he clearly wanted to get back to his meeting (store was open) & in fairness I don t dress fancy at all (pulled up in a new 2019 Mercedes Sprinter though) - what a moron - I had checkbook in hand to BUY the one they had in that color on the spot- unbelievable... I told him that as I walked off & he could care less- 175k sale just walked out... off to Mercedes south San Jose - wow... not to mention I was THE only customer there- apparently their sales meeting is more important than customer service ... Its amazing how much collateral damage one individual can do to a business...

That was the first but also the last time I go there. Be aware!!!!!!! you will need a lawyer and an accountant to buy a car there. otherwise, you will be screwed and fall on a scam. They are con artists. I finance a car there, the rate was 6.19 from MB. Totally 3.00 higher than I got from other bank. That is not the point, I got overcharged $5.5 00 without my knowledge. Yes, I was stupid to sign all the paperwork. The financial manager distracted me when he asked me to sign. So, I got ripped off. I'll report this to BBB and file a complaint against them to the state attorney general. Don't go to this place, you will be screwed.

While I was happy with my experience buying my first Mercedes car at Autobahn Motor a year ago, I had to say I was quite disappointed with the service department when I went for the first service. First of all, I waited for over 30 minutes for a loaner car. Secondly, when I asked why it took this long, the service rep was impatient. What troubled me most was that that the service department manager, talked to me with a ruthless attitude in front of his service team. Later, it was found the delay was caused by misplaced paperwork, and the manager apologized , but in fact, he made it sounded like take it or leave it . Last but not least, I have never received a survey email from Mercedes. I called the dealer and was told my email was wrong. Really?! Why did I receive many other emails from the dealer? Anyway, while I was pleased to see the new building and infrastructure at Autobahn Motors, I hope the dealer can also improve service to make their customers feel like they are fairly appreciated or at least respected.

Really appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the staff here. Very nice facilities as well. Kudos to Ed my service advisor as he made sure I was completely happy and even took the time to remove some tar from my freshly washed car. Great experience!

I've have used Autobahn service for over 12 years ...

I've have used Autobahn service for over 12 years and have great success with my service advisors. My latest advisor, Mel, was tremendously helpful and gave me a quick education as to what was wrong with my engine, secured a loaner for me (critical) and followed up every day to give me status updates. I had a crack in the cylinder in my engine which meant parts had to be order and parts of my engine had to be rebuilt. Not an easy job and one that could easily have been done incorrectly. They could have taken the easy route, but chose to be cautious and repaired it as if they owned the car. That is the kind of service we all could use. Strong recommendations and proper follow through. I'm certain I'll see Mel again for my next service.

It was my best car buying experience ever at the Autobahn, thanks to Mr.Joseph Asemi whom I accidentally ran into.

I value honest over price (not saying this place pricing is not great, in fact, he gave me the best deal I've had offered to me) and this will be the place that I would definitely recommend to my family and friends and ofcourse I will come back for the years to come.

Able to make a service appointment at Autobahn Motors, at OUR convenience. Back at the original facility this time, which caused some initial confusion for us. Our service representative, Juan Dominguez, always has a way of "going the extra mile" for us. Unaware that a loaner vehicle required a reservation, this time, so we waited 2 hours.. No big issue. The vehicle was sparkling clean when returned to us. The only problem we had was some confusion at the cashier, who couldn't seem to find the car keys. We would NEVER consider having our Mercedes serviced anywhere other than Autobahn Motors, in Belmont, CA.
