I went to the Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg on Saturday 14 October 2017 at 2:10 pm; after a 45 mins commute, to have a terrible experience. I pulled into the carport and waited as Steve the Service Manager assisted another customer in his office. Once the customer left Steve s office he picked up the phone and began a new conversation; which was a total disregard of my presence. Now I know Steve saw me waiting patiently because he made eye contact with me. I become irritated once I saw Steve lean back in his chair and continued with his conversation, by this time 15 mins has passed and he still did not acknowledge that I was still waiting to be assisted. I would have been content with waiting, if Steve would have let me know he d be with me shortly. Instead he chose to ignore me, so I left and went to Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria where I was provided with excellent customer service. I wish I could rate Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg with a negative five stars for the horrible service I received today.

We came into the Mercedes Benz dealership in Fredericksburg VA in a Winnebago RV on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. We were experiencing a major intermittent issue in that the key when inserted into the ignition would not turn. We were on a major road trip heading home and afraid that if we turned off the unit that it would never start again and require a tow. When we pulled into the dealership I went in to discuss the problem with the service people while my wife stayed in the RV I first started with Ian Doughty then Steve Appel two of the nicest guys that you could ever meet. These gentlemen were able to take us in and diagnose the problem shortly after we arrived, they walked us through the problem, helped us find lodging for the night and as soon as the part came in facilitated the repair, sent their shuttle over to pick us up and had us safely on our wAy before noon.
The service and help that these gentlemen and their facility provided was above and beyond anything that we could have expected from the start they told us that they would do what was necessary to get us on the road as quickly and as safely as possible and they delivered!! We really appreciate all that they did for us!! Thankyou Ian and Steve and of course Cody the tech that did the hands on!!!

Today's experience with the service department and representative Amanda was a case study in poor customer service. Huber sent a service coupon to me for a car that was sold several years ago; I requested to use it for service on my current Mercedes and Amanda said they could not honor a VIN specific coupon. I then asked if there were any other service coupons available and Amanda annoyingly and shortly indicated that there is a current 10% web discount; I asked to use that and also to have the veteran's discount we have received for our last severaI services applied. Amanda again shortly responded that they will not honor two discounts and that there is only an active duty discount. I pointed out that we had received a veteran's discount for several services, as recently as October 2017. I requested to speak to a manager and Amanda called him on his cell phone but did not allow me to speak to the manager. We will not be returning to Huber. We love the sales staff and Marcus, but will not purchase another Mercedes or service our current cars there any longer.

My daughter and I visited this dealership on Dec. 7 and we were showed cars by with Mike Wilkerson. Let me tell you: He was very warm and confident, and so professional. He was knowledgeable and knew a lot about Mercedes-Benz cars specifications, inside and out. He knew about safety and the metal details and how Mercedes are not just "fiber glass". Because of him, I feel more confident about Mercedes-Benz cars. Thank you Mike. We'll be back again.

This is the only dealership that I will purchase my Mercedes Benz from. I have been a customer of theirs for over 10+ years. I am on my 4th Mercedes Benz. Recently I was involved in a hit and run accident. My car was taken over to Huber collision. Once my car was deemed totaled, I headed straight to Mercedes Benz in Fredericksburg. My sales person was David Cunningham, he took care of me from the time I walked in the door to the delivery of my new car. Everyone at this dealership is awesome, from sales to service. Ryan and Mike knocked it out of the ballpark! My wife was in the market for a new vehicle and had her eye on a 2020 A220. After talking with Ryan, he was able to get us an incredible deal on a newly released 2021 A220 with all the bells and whistles and made my wife and I extremely happy that we chose Mercedes Benz of Fredericksburg. Mike was also excellent in showing us all the features in our new car as well as getting us signed up on MercedesMe Connect. I normally dread going to the dealership for anything because it's usually a 6+ hour ordeal, however, Ryan and Mike made our day and we were in and out in two hours! 10/10 recommend coming here if you're in the market for a new luxury vehicle!

Drove here from richmond, for an oil change. Started off great, they got me in without an appointment, everyone was super nice. Then when the car was ready, thank goodness I had almost exact change to pay for my service, as apparently cash is not a thing here. Then they didn t rest my service reminder. The richmond dealers always reset the service reminder when they change my oil. I was told they would charge me extra to do so, served with a big side of attitude from the advisor who an hour earlier had been super nice. Not sure what happened, of who pissed in her Cheerios, but this is not an acceptable way to treat a customer. We have two Mercedes in our driveway, and are actively shopping to upgrade both as we do every couple years. You just lost 2 potential customers! As I write this review from your parking lot, I was able to google how to reset it myself, and you could have saved a couple sales and made some bucks by just spending the 3 minutes to reset it instead of me having to amateur it.

I am sorry to report I was disappointed in two issues when I received my car.

One is I had a 9:30am saturday appointment for B service (more than $600 cost) and recall service. I didn't get my car until 4pm, when I was told it was 4 hour job. My whole day was shot.

Second is when I received my car, the rear windows would not stay connected and sealed to front windows. With shop now closed, I went to YouTube to learn to reset windows so they would stay closed. I should not have to receive my car in that condition from MB dealership.

Not sure what happened to this dealership, but it has gone straight downhill over the last year. My recent experience was that used vehicles are listed at a "Hassle Free" price. Very little research (Auto Trader) reveals this dealership does not price vehicles competitively. You can get the same vehicle, with lower mileage, priced far less, within 60 miles of Fredericksburg - Certified Pre-Owned or not. To make matters worse, and from my experience, their trade-in offers are at least 20 percent lower than wholesale prices. I was offered 25 percent less for my trade-in than at Sheehy Toyota. If you are looking for a quality Mercedes at a competitive price, don't look here. By the way, the dealership's response (below) to my comment is nonsense and doesn't stand up to thoughtful scrutiny. My trade-in pricing examples were actual, and reflected the discrepancy in fairness between this dealership and Sheehy Toyota. The fact is, and the salesman knew this, I wasn't sold on the car I test drove. It had more miles on it than I was looking for. I was told that there were three other ML's coming in soon, that I might like better. That's when I provided my trade-in information. I did not receive a trade-in quote for nearly twenty four hours, and only after I called the salesperson to inquire about the status of the offer. I was so disappointed with this experience I thought it was important to share with others, so they could make a better choice than to attempt to do business with this dealership.

I decided to purchase a car on Saturday 10/10/15 at the F.burg MB dealership started great with my sales rep. How quickly it changed when it got to the finance part biggest mistake. I was putting a down payment closed on Sunday, So went Monday, I arrived with funds and they said they wouldn't be able to take the check, because someone else gave it to me. So, went back again with a Cashier check written to the dealership and again couldn't take it. So, they recommend that me and the sales rep go and cash the check at the bank (I mean really how ridiculous) it's written to the dealership. They also half cleaned the new car. I also wanted to buy back my old car, on that Monday 10/12/15 they told me 1 or 2 business days for processing and now it's going on a week. They wanted to charge another $4,000, because they had to do an oil change and some inspections/certifications, that supposedly takes 1 or 2 days That I've recently got done. I completely understand taxes and tags. But, I know what the trade-in value is for my car because it's on my contract and increasing the price that much is ridiculous, I was buying back my same car. This dealership has poor service.And theGeneral manager acted as if he didn't want to be bothered with the situation. So, disappointed with this dealership.

My wife brought our car in for service again and they have treated her terrible AGAIN! She has called the corporate office in the past and will do so again. They are slow and treat women terribly. They have yet to resolve our issue with our rear radar not working any longer. They keep telling my wife she was not hearing the tones/beeping when she backed up. There were other women in the waiting room experiencing the same attitude as well. You would think a premier brand...the service would be much better.

They gave me the best rate EVER and the process went smoothly from beginning to end. The paper work was complete when I arrived at the dealership which meant that M-BF valued my time as much as I do. I am writing to highly commend Scott Sumner of Huber MB of Fredericksburg (and the dealership in general) -- even though we did not end up buying our new car from them! In late April, en route on a trip, we needed an emergency brake repair, and the dealership took us in, evaluated our problem, and repaired our car the very next day! While we were there, Scott Sumner educated us on new cars we were interested in, and we left with an offer on a new car. In late May we decided to purchase a new Mercedes and contacted Scott, and another dealer much closer to our home several hours away from Fredericksburg. The offers that Scott made, from his own stock and other available cars, were very competitive, and Scott was very responsive to our interests and needs. Unfortunately, due to a combination of an unexpected find through the other dealer, and that dealer's location less than half the distance from our home, we decided to purchase from the other dealer. Despite this outcome, we want to highly comment Scott on his thorough, prompt and professional service -- we couldn't have asked for more help with this major decision, and we would readily recommend the dealership and Scott to anyone considering a new Mercedes.

Having a Product Concierge to go over the features and functions of the vehicle is priceless! Michael Sandoval made us feel at ease and explained the Mercedes panel with great knowledge! I appreciate him making us his main priority at that moment.

You definitely do not forget how people make you feel and because of an experience with Volvo/Huber sales we were not going to go back. I m in a 2017 Winnebago built on a Mercedes chassis. I m driving along 95 when all of a sudden to my surprise the engine light comes on it won t go over 40 miles an hour. i park that night at the super Walmart and the next morning I wake up look to for a local Mercedes service center. I found MB of Fredericksburg Huber. When I called they said they can t see me till Thursday meanwhile this is a Monday morning so I hung up redial and asked to speak to a service manager. I got Amanda on the phone told her my story. I was trying to head back to Florida she said come on and talk to me. Within 10 minutes of being there she had my vehicle in the service center being repaired (thank God it was only the fuel filter) while it was there I had her change the oil and I was back on my way in three hours not only that, she had them wash the whole thing... great service!!!

Pulled off I-95 with a CEL on my Sprinter chassis RV. They were kind enough to look at it quickly and replace the clogged fuel filter and get us back on the road in less than 2 hours.

As expected, service was very expensive ($530) for a diagnosis and repair. However they did wash the RV if that is any consolation!

It was late afternoon on a Saturday while we were traveling south on 95 on our way to the Keys when our engine lights came on and the rpms were up.. Then the Sprinter (Pleasure Way XLTD) went into emergency mode making a 6 mile journey to this dealership at snail's pace. Something of a nightmare for our vacation as we pulled in. T.he dealership was closing and wouldn't reopen until Monday, President's Day. We had no choice but to camp it out in their parking lot. Luckily we were self sufficient especially with the camper having solar power plus we had food and digital tv to make our wait a bit more pleasant. Monday morning arrived and we spoke to Steve in the service department. He somehow, someway fit us in his busy schedule. We had 2 sensors which needed replacement and to have them in stock was even more of a shock for us. The crew had us out within 2 hours. Did I say we had 2 large dogs! They were kind enough to let us in the waiting area. Of course we were considerate of other MB owners and grateful. They are true professionals and deserve a big bravo! Thank you so much!!!!

I'm very disappointed in this dealership. I recently bought a brand new 2020 GLS450 SUV which had extended stain damage to the roof. I brought it in more than 3 times in the first month (for a total of 15 days at the dealership). They took apart almost the entire interior, replacing parts, and it is still not finished. At this point, my request was to have the car entirely replaced since I have not used this car at all and it already has had so many problems. I asked if they could give me an extended warranty in case something breaks due to all of the replaced parts if they could not give me a new SUV. They did not want to honor any of my requests. I talked to my lawyer and he advised that they should replacing the SUV with a new one as it was serviced so many times within the first month. I told this to the GM, Jeff Riddle, and he responded "Do you think you're a big shot? We have better lawyers." I just bought this new car and my only request was to get what I paid for, a new car. I'm so disappointed with the GM and customer service.

We loved Mercedes Benz of Fredericksburg! We especially loved our salesman Lucas Hidalgo. He was very friendly, very helpful and helped us buy our dream car. While we were there, he even bought us lunch! The overall dealership seemed like a fun place to work with a putting range and all and they really worked with us to provide us a great deal on a new Mercedes GLC 300. We love our car and would highly recommend Fredericksburg Mercedes to all our friends and family. Go see Lucas! He is the best.
