Menifee union school district Reviews

Coming from the Murrieta school district, I requested my two children be allowed to continue /transferred to the school from which they were originally attending, which was denied citing that Menifee could provide the necessary education required. Seriously?! So I would have to fight the district or let it go. I have never heard of a school district not supporting the preferred location for education providing the destination has the resources and the room to accommodate the child. So that tells me they are just trying to fill classrooms for budgetary reasons.

The second issue is the horrendous quality of the food served in the schools within Menifee. Again comparing to Murrieta, the food quality and options are night and day between the two districts. The district states the food meets certain nutritional requirements. That doesn't mean the food is good. Now if your own staff won't eat the food, why would the children attending think it's all that better.

Both these issues boil down to fiscal management. I hope the district finds a way to make the necessary funds so that they don't have to deny a parents request for a district transfer and that the quality of food meets some of the surrounding cities. Parents also lost bus transportation in 2016 for thier students, again because of funding issues. There were also threats of teachers striking.

So again the district had to come up with additional resources to quiet the selfish teachers who would rather have the extra funds aquired go into thier pockets than providing buses, better quality food and new technology for the classrooms. Bravo, teachers of Menifee, bravo! Now this is just the perspective of a parent looking at the schools and district from the outside. I may not have all the facts but it sure seems like the reasons I gave are why I have had such a difficult time since moving to Menifee.

They literally are incompetent.. you ask them for a withdrawal letter and they can t provide that, you ask for a receipt confirmation showing your child has been dropped from the district and they can t provide that.. it s basic skills to type a letter and send it via email. Clearly Covid has caused humans to lose all basic knowledge and life skills, thank goodness we are out of this horrible district.

Waste of tax money used by most of our income. Poor service by them when not put safety first. I had to witness my childhood's friend who has a relative there and a peer's peer too with their child. Been a witness once and they need to make proper changes. Some staff show inappropriate acts on and off campus. Safety must be first and we should know their true colors.

We need to be informed about anything, online or by sending information with our students. The website page needs to be updated. And communication is important.

As a rule, the good teachers are underpaid and underappreciated. The rest are in it for the money, not our future generations and don't care how they treat or talk to the children. The bus issue could have been alleviated if schools didn't throw away supplies, manuals, anything that is required to educate our children. Every year they throw away millions of dollars in educational supplies so they can get government funding increased. The school system is greedy and they aren't educating our children properly. Instead of fundamentals, socialism is taught. They are teaching the children how do Muslim prayer, but Christianity is denied. Private school is too expensive. Our school system is continuing to fail and will continue until the old school mentality is restored.

A wonderful place to work. The teachers and staff put the students first.

Menifee Union School District will remain on the current hybrid learning model and schedule for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.

The district has consistently lagged behind other districts in return to school. They make the MTA their priority over in-class learning.
