Memorial Hermann Southeast Review

Nurse Crystal in Postpartum Department is such a warm and helpful lady. I was in there on March 21-22. Without her help I won t have such smooth journey. Thank you very much.

Emergency Center is uncaring beyond belief. Whatever oaths these Caring Professionals took are in vein. Zero empathy towards Patients and zero care for their emergencies. Most of all staff members show they are just there for a paycheck and sit or stand around, simply looking at all the patients as if they don t exist. Have to ask them to take vitals on someone who had trauma from an accident for the assistant to point at the blood pressure cusp and take the blood pressure myself. Ridiculous. Note: Blood Pressure was 153/99 and Pulse of 92. Waiting lobby period 3+hours & No aid.

The doctors and nurses provided excellent communication. I appreciate everything they did to take care of my family member.

Night of 01/19/20 7:40 pm - 9:45 pm. My family will never be going to the Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital again. We took our mother to the emergency room because she was crying from body aches and nausea. When she started experiencing other symptoms such as chest pains, they said we would have to wait until we were called to mention the other symptoms to the doctor or nurse (And the wait was 2-3 hrs based on urgency). They asked for a urine sample from my mother while we were waiting. When I had the urine ready in a cup inside of a bag, I didnt know who to give it to. The receptionist was no help at all. I soon found out that I was supposed to place the bag in a grey container that was on a trash can next to the reception desk. There was no sign and wouldn't that be prone to contamination!? What if a child or someone else grabbed or dropped the container? Not only that. They were taking people's blood pressure in the waiting room. A women had to lift her shirt half up her chest to get her blood pressure taken without any privacy at all. We ended up taking my mother to Clear Lake Medical Center. Within 20 minutes after we arrived, my mom was hook on an I.V. and morphine to deal with her pain. XRays were taken while she was sitting down so she wouldn't have to walk anywhere.

Do not bring your loved ones here!! Better for them to suffer at home than with the so called nursing staff at this place. Its pathetic that these people even have a job. I will be reporting the nurses to everyone & anyone who they can be reported to.

The intake Nurses do NOT communicate with the doctors. The wait to see a doctor even for Fast Clinic is 5+ hours. Bring a blanket you will be here FOREVER! Not the best care! They just don t care in a point they have elders with cancer sitting out here not getting proper care! Like I said the front does not communicate with the back nurses or doctors.

Worst hospital I've ever been to.
There are a bunch of clowns pretending to be working there..girls up front are constantly on their phones chatting with family while there's a patient paying loads of money bleeding all over the waiting area. Southeast Memorial is not recommended by anyone who wants decent care for themselves. When doctors aren't available they'll let just anyone poke you and stick you. Bad business here.

Staff at this Hospital is a joke. No sympathy for family members that just lost a love one. It is sad to say that out of all the nurses that took care of our love one there was only 1 nurse that was very compassionate and attended their needs her very well. This is very sad when you love one is spending their last days here. Memorial Hermann is in need to train their nurses and Dr.'s to be more compassionate and with care, patients are human and still have feelings even if they only have days to live.

Would ve given NO stars is possible..... this is the WORST ER/hospital I ve ever been too! The nurse was nice but the nurse practitioner was HORRIBLE! I waited for 6 hours and was in the room for about another 2 only to decide to leave AMA because they literally did NOTHING help me. Please seek medical attention else where! This ER shouldn t even be open.

Wow, I should have read the reviews before coming here. Don't know about the hospital but the ER is terrible. I understand busy but if the wait times run into hours then the staff shouldn't mind being asked some questions. Staff is as unhelpful as I have ever seen. They say something will occur and then never come back. Worst experience at any medical facility I have ever had.
