The work they're doing is deeply inspiring and I'm honored to have been able to spend time among such present people. Their mission and dedication to furthering knowledge of natural living and building materials is amazing. I'll be back very soon.

Taking a (PDC) or permaculture design course is the best decision a young person without direction can make for choosing a career path/way in an effort of living connected nature.
I never thought regenerative agriculture would be my direction, that is until this course taught me so much about plants, fungi, animals and the environment. More education departments should be advocating permacture as a serious important career path for future generations.

About Quail Springs Permaculture

Quail Springs Permaculture is a non-profit organization located in Southern California that provides education and training in permaculture design and natural building. The organization was founded with the aim of promoting sustainable living practices through education, research, and community outreach.

Permaculture is a holistic approach to designing systems that are self-sustaining, regenerative, and ecologically sound. It involves working with nature rather than against it to create food systems, housing solutions, energy sources, and other human needs that are in harmony with the environment.

At Quail Springs Permaculture, students of all ages can learn about permaculture design principles through hands-on workshops and courses. The organization offers a range of programs for beginners as well as advanced practitioners who want to deepen their knowledge of permaculture.

One of the unique features of Quail Springs Permaculture is its focus on natural building techniques. Natural building involves using locally sourced materials such as straw bales, adobe bricks, or cob to construct homes that are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Students at Quail Springs can learn how to build their own homes using these techniques or participate in community-building projects.

In addition to its educational programs, Quail Springs Permaculture also conducts research into sustainable living practices. The organization collaborates with other institutions around the world to develop new technologies and methods for creating more resilient communities.

Quail Springs Permaculture has received numerous awards for its work in promoting sustainable living practices. Its programs have been recognized by organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).

If you're interested in learning more about permaculture design or natural building techniques, Quail Springs Permaculture is an excellent resource.
