Great seafood meal I had there tonight. Meals are always good

Just no atmosphere, all about the club?
Kinda dull really.

The food was inedible. Burnt and dry. You could not even get your fork into the parmigiana, huge disappointment. The meals were also very small, like childrens or seniors portions.

Good service, good food and lots of it. Excellent prices, and great deals for Seniors. Membership available to everyone provides lots of good food deals and drink coupons.

Great place to hang out liked the design of the place and has a great bar

club member prices and discounts are good. Atmosphere is a bit cold because of the pokies, but i guess that's the main business.

It was good, but it's a bit small and they take to long served people who ordered first

Its a place where you can enjoy your self with other people even if you don't know them lovley place.

I live this place, apart from the pokies the bistro has awesome meals at both lunch n tea times

Food was alright but it was 2 things that caused me to take 2 stars off.

1) The order took awfully long, and this being last Wednesday we were told it's a member's night so we had to bear a bit more as a lot of orders came in at the same time.

2) I ordered a rib eye steak and specifically asked for it to be done medium - well done but sadly enough it was more like rare - medium. Ended up sending the steak back after showing the red to our very polite server who went back to the kitchen and got back the order (but by this time all my mates had finished their meal and had to wait for me).

Just a bit awkward that's all.

Amazing meals. Just like home cooking. I was there with great friends and we always enjoy our visit.

Food was cold and pay before you eat is annoying as you cant sit and chat, you have to wait in line..

Go here at least once a week eat out in the bistro great food and on wednesday and friday have great raffles and giveaways Highly recommend

I'm not local to Melton though this seemed like a great venue for the locals. The team there were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was good and there's a great display of ANZAC artifacts honoring those who served our country. It was fantastic to spend some time there at an event I was fortunate enough to be invited to. Thanks Melton Country Club.

I really like it it's no five star resort or under 20s bar but it's friendly you get what you pay for beers cold and food is hot....

Great service but starting to get a bit pricey with drinks and food. Otherwise a great place with great people

Overpriced Pub food.Premade salad, $32 steak tough and premade vegetables.Reminds me of Hospital food

Had dinner there recently and the staff were very polite and friendly both in the restaurant and at the bar. The club has a very friendly atmosphere. I have no complaints about my meal at all I had the Porterhouse and it was cooked perfectly as i requested medium rare and the vegetables were fantastic.
The chocolate desert was excellent as well. My only negative I wish to raise are the chairs in the restaurant, I think they have had their day they look padded but are very uncomfortable that's all.

Great place to have a dance or listen to music, never any trouble.
Really does need a dance floor like it used to have.

This fantastic place offers you a great range of fresh food cooked to perfection the staff here are happy people and they will greet you with a warm smile and a hello it has a great atmosphere it's good for groups family dinner for two or if you are single then dinner for one it is as irs part of the Essendon football club you might be lucky enough to bump into an AFL player

Went to the Club Saturday night.We ate in the bistro had combination stir fried noodle.Cost $25.00.The quality was very poor.Small amount of noodles,meat was not fresh and also chicken was also very dry and not fresh.It had a very runny sauce which was tasteless.Spoke to the waitresses after the meal.She said she would let the chef know.But did not come back to us.Overall bistro very poor and prices aren t that cheap.
Also order two coffees at the bar got the order wrong.But we didn t advise them of the mistake.We just had them.Went to place a Keno ticket at the bar all three bar staff where up one end drying glasses and chatting, so I missed putting my Keno on of course it won and cost me $25.Very disappointed in the whole venue.

More of a pensioners pokies, but if ur a local, good atmosphere and as close to an RSL club as ur gonna get here.

Food here is was horrible!! I ordered the salmon and it was clearly a frozen piece that was so mushy and watery. I couldn t eat it.
The venue itself was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly.

Visited on 9/12/17 - Worst meal ever. Three out of the Five meals were uneatable. Three Chicken Parma's were stone cold.
Advised the wait staff, not sure the complaint will even make it to the cook left alone the management.
Management and the Essendon Football club do not care about the quality of food as they make too much money from the pensioners and pokies.
The kitchen needs overhaul remove the cooks and put some real chefs in

Thanks to all the staff at the Melton Country Club for all the attention to detail for my wife's recent Birthday, very special thanks to Naomi who handled everything from start to finish for us and organised the entire event, can't recommend this venue any more highly, very private setup in the new function room complete with private bar & staff, and we were really pleased with the prices..

Had an AMAZING meal! Waitresses were so nice! Only thing that let the place down was the rude older man at the bar that told me to 'hurry up' while ordering drinks. I understand there was older people waiting (that arrived after us) but i was paying and ordering on 1 card for 6 people. I wasnt indecisive. Patience is a virtue.
