Bar staff leave patrons waiting to use efpos and do not acknowledge friday night should have entertainment as gaming is not for everyone when raffle is drawn patrons go home leaving lounge area empty

What a little gem this place is!! Great customer service from when we walked in to when we left. We had a bar meal and were really pleased with the serving, quality and great tasting. I had coconut prawns with lime Mayo and my son had a steak sandwich. Garlic bread is yummy. And a real raspberry and lemonade!! The old fashioned way. Will be definitely eating there again.

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because it won't let me go any lower. I will never ever go back here, the food was so terrible my young children didn't even eat it. My daughter ordered the kids cheeseburger, I took a photo so I can show people how bad it was, the meat patty was so black & burnt. I had the risotto, the rice wasn't cooked & it tasted bland. My partner had an eye fillet stir fry, there were big chunks of carrot that were harder than when they came out of the ground. I am very disappointed, I will never recommend this place.

Good variety to choose from, reasonably priced and friendly, professional staff to assist with any special needs.

Nice club with friendly staff and pleasant surrounds. Meals are OK being basic pub food.
Overall it is a great club to just sit around with friends having a few drinks.
Plenty of sorts screens and pokies.

I absolutely love the Melton Country Club. I have been coming here for years .My mother loved it bless her and i think my grandchildren think the same. The future generation will be coming here too. The staff are fantastic and the food is always great. I feel welcome and safe every time i come here. I love it we are like family. Thankyou so much for many wonderful years of laughs,friendship and feeling so special. xxxxx

Lambs fry was magnificent as usual. Perfectly cooked on a bed of mashed potatoes with bacon, abundant roast veggies and a lovely gravy. My mum had the combination stir fry and said it was delicious. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you and well done.

Worst meal ever. Went to the club with a group of 8. 2 meals arrived, the other 6 arrived one hour later even after mentioning to staff the delay in the other meals. I ordered the fillet, medium rare, vegetables and chips. The fillet came out dead, way over cooked, and not a bit of moisture left in the meat. The vegetables we advertised as colliflower , broccoli, carrots, snow peas, and squash. All I got was one small colliflower piece, a whole heap of squash, and one small carrot, and all over cooked. I thought about returning the meal, but was afraid I would have to wait another hour for a replacement meal. Ate half the meat (thank god for the pepper sauce to give it some moisture), and some veggies. The chips were the best part of the meal. I was considering getting a membership when I arrived, but not now. Will never go back, and never recommend the club to anyone. The cooks (won t call them chefs) need replacing. Had to give the rating a one star, would have preferred to give it zero stars but that option was not available.

Been to the country club a heap of times great venue, foods been good until tonight, however the friendly staff quickly recified that, still 4 stars, and we'll be, because from time to time it's gunna happen I suppose...

Discussing will never go to the melton county club again nor will we rejoin as members

Today's lunch was the best meal we have had in quite a while. The staff were very friendly, and an excellent menu at great prices. Highly recommended.

The ubiquitous RSL has been transformed into a large establishment with support from the Essendon football club. Good food

Excellent food and prices bar menu calamari and hot chips $5 had mixed grill a few weeks ago which was best ever compliments to chef.

Nice enough. A bit hit and miss. My wife and I both ordered Scotch fillet...mine was great, hers was tough and overcooked. It was Weds night and members get half-price meals that night so maybe the club " caters" for that cost wise and though we paid full price my wife got a members cut !

Dinner was delicious family really enjoyed thier meals, the staff were friendly and the social distancing was kept well, we had a great time.

Terrible, I am never going back.

As a non members, showing up for a meal on what turns out to be the members half price night, we were made to feel quite the unwelcome burden. We should have turned around and left at that point because the experience only went down hill from there.

The food was terrible and very expensive.
Not sure if it was the normal sizes, or a cost cutting exercise to cover the members half price night but the ($22.50) chicken parmigiana was the exact same size as the kids meal parmigiana ($9.50)... Small!!

There was a prawn dish served with a garnish salad of unwashed, undressed limp yellow leaves. The prawns themselves were oily and overcooked, the lime mayonnaise had no hint of lime, only the sickly sweet tang of cheap and nasty mayo.

At 7:10 a staff member came to warn our party that the table we were sitting at was reserved from 7:30 onwards. By 7:15 a patron rudely came to kick us off the table.

The staff were unwelcoming, unhelpful and unfriendly.
The food was expensive, tasteless and very poor quality.
The patrons /members were lacking many qualities such as manners, teeth, social skills and the sense to spend their time and money doing something other than being at the Melton country club.

Meals are average. We went twice and both times the meals where terrible. Wont be back

I wish I could give it a zero!!! After a terrible meal we were given a voucher to try to win us back (my husband and I go there regularly and are members). We went again to try and were hoping for a yummy meal and lovely night, only to have a dreadful meal again. Raw cold vegetables. Cold soggy chips. As if that's not enough, we saw the cook wipe the sweat from his brow with his bare hand and then smear it onto the front of his shirt. This is the same cook I have seen yelling at waitresses in front of customers. To top it off I made a comment on their facebook. I got a message asking for details, only to be blocked so I can't reply, nor contact them again. We will not be back and I will not be recommending the venue to anyone again!

So much fun at Probus in the hire room, yummy morning tea, then had lunch, very good snd tasty.
