Megafun Entertainment Company (Mövenpick resort & spa El Gouna) Review

Great hotel with good food and great beach. A lovely animation team.

Great resort in El Gouna. Plant with direct beach location. Well maintained pools between each building. Delicious food in different restaurants. Versatile evening program.
Definitely worth a holiday.

Very friendly courteous staff. For an all-inclusive vacation you can not complain. Unfortunately, our room was a bit old, but got a modernized, without extra charge. If you book the hotel, I would advise you not to book tours through Meetingpoint, which are located in this hotel. Viieeeeeel too expensive! Booked tours to Luxor and the Giftun Islands, which were up to 75% cheaper, with a super bus / boat and travel guides. El Gouna is a beautiful place for Egypt.

The staff is very friendly. The massages are more than sensational. The beauty area is super relaxing. The water is nice. The views are beautiful. The sights are incredibly interesting.

It is the best hotel we stayed in. The area is very nice, the beach too. The rooms are cleaned every day. The food is varied and tasty. The only criticism: The shops in the area are hidden in a corner. You would have to get a more central place. The sellers have earned that. They are all very nice and not pushy. And cheaper than in the city, too. The hotel management should think about it and find a better solution.

Old rooms. Our curtain and mirror in bath were dirty. Outside on hotel areal it was very clean. Service stuff was great. But the reception stuff should learn much better English, it's a tourist hotel most at our time from Germany. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Marco Polo restaurant were very great and tasty.
Sorry but the guys at the beach and poolside who would sell whatever are horrible. At our first day at the beach they came 8 times. That must be stopped especially at poolside.
Altogether there is to do some work and refreshing the rooms.

We were two in March and are very satisfied. Facility is very well maintained. Room clean.
Staff friendly and nice.
Animation pleasant. Many different activities. There was something for everyone.
Food was also very delicious. All in all, a relaxing holiday.

A casual hotel that is very popular with its guests, good cuisine, very friendly, 2 pools, kite surfing and other sports.

I really enjoyed my time here. The food was very good and varied, the area was very well maintained and was constantly cleaned. The entertainment was very pleasant and the person was generally extremely accommodating. Thank you for every service !!

Good for it's water games. Almost all well known and even advanced water games are here. Para-Sailing, Banana boat, different types of sliding tubes, water jet,..... etc. A great option as well is the existence of a dedicated professional photographer for extra cost.

However, the hotel and the resort in general isn't that fabulous. It's just good for a 4-star hotel.
The beach is wide and good but there's no much scenes or artificial lakes, rivers, bridges as the other expensive options in El Gouna.

Good for a moderate budget especially if you like water games.

Personally, I didn't like it in this hotel. I was not a guest so I describe the outdoor area without a room. For me, the hotel was clearly showing its age. Lots of small construction sites. Definitely not a 4 * hotel. Maximum 3 *. In spite of this, the beach is nice with lots of lounge chairs including a small island :) But there are only 8 lounge chairs. It was very stinky in the lobby every day but couldn't make out where it was coming from. The audience was very mixed.

The location of the hotel on the beach is great. The family rooms are very spacious. The entertainment and the music at the pool were much too loud. The food was okay. However, the restaurant is getting old and unfortunately without flair. There are far too many sellers on the beach.

Nice facility. We were with "dine around" eat here. We stayed in another hotel. The buffet was very good, with an extra fish corner where fresh fish was filleted and then grilled. Delicious. Also the staff very attentive and friendly without tip. In the evening you can sit very comfortably at the pool bar. 7ch can not say more because we have not seen as "foreign" guests.

Very friendly staff who are always willing to help you. All inn formula but unfortunately for certain drinks such as caipirinha and mojito you have to pay extra (mint leaves and lime will apparently cost a fortune there). No too great diversity during the confusing breakfast and evening buffet. Theme evening Valentine they have done their best extra in terms of decoration and dessert buffet. Too bad of the cheap screaming animation / music at the pool where you can therefore never enjoy the tranquility at your leisure. As this hotel is apparently well-known to Duisters, you are constantly addressed in German by all hotel guests and hotel staff. The music during the animation evenings mainly consists of German schlagers, to the point of boredom certain songs up to 3, 4x are played on an evening. After 2 weeks you will have had it with all German related situations!

Probably one of the worse hotels I've stayed in. Never in a million years is this a 4 star hotel, at best 3.
The hotel is desperately in need of repair. It is old and run down.
Rooms are desperate. No character what so ever. We were upgraded by the manager to a suite, still very poor. Shower in the bath, shower broke off in my hand!!!!!!!!
Food was ok. Not really too much variety. The chicken burger at lunchtime was the highlight!
Walking into the restaurant or should I say canteen was ridicules . Either one was smoked out by the smoking area or once one arrived in the seating area one was totally engulfed in smoke from the grill. Every evening we had to hang our clothes outside to air them.
Seating was more like garden furniture, no flowers or plants to decorate the place, loud and really uncomfortable.
In fairness the staff in general were friendly and helpful, but that doesn't really make up for the terrible hotel.
The fitness room is a joke. 2 machines to workout on, broken treadmill, bench rusty, weights dangerously stacked and mostly broken! Rowing machine, well the less said the better.
Surrounding garden and beach ok. All in all, very very disappointing.
I'd heard so much about this so called rich Egyptian who had invested millions in El Gouna, obviously he drove past this hotel!!!!
Just cannot recommend Club Paradiso at all.

WE WERE IN EL GOUNA FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FEBRUARY, IT WAS SUPER BEAUTIFUL WEATHER. GREAT HOTEL WITH SUPER ANIMATEURE! SIMPLY A HOTEL FOR WELL-BEING, IT TALKS EVEN ITSELF AND LETS YOU SURPRISE, EL GOUNA IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER EGYPT, EASY GREAT!

Good in the rooms and good in service but the food level is less good and the staff are good

Rooms are great. Only the shower was either hot or just cold. Air conditioning too loud to sleep with. Food ok-good. Mini Club could be better. (If you come in the morning and the entertainer does not know what's on the program today, it's rather unprofessional.

Typical AI club. Only for tourists who want it cheap. Is the Partner Hotel of the Steigenberger Golf Hotel. We visited the beach once .... Then only at the pools in Steigenberger.

1a hotel, great activities at Bob, the quad tour was awesome, as well as dolphin diving! Madness!

We only used the beach of this hotel, bars and restaurants at lunchtime. Delicious food, a lot of choice, lots of fruit. Excellent service, on the beach, free chairs. We recommend it !!

We were here for kitesurfing. The kitespot is right by the hotel. The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I think it's a shame that water bottles are not included.

Since we are accommodated in Steigenberger, we may share the beach and the complex of Labranda. The beach is really nice, you can walk far into the sea, through the sandbars really nice The beach chairs are partly quite old and would have to be replaced. But otherwise a really great 4 star resort.

A very nice hotel with everything your heart desires. The staff take care of your well-being and fulfill your every wish. The other guests are super friendly and it's just fun. The beach is like paradise and only a few meters from the hotel. I would come back every time!

Everything and everyone who worked there were very helpful, friendly and always with a smile. We had a a small misunderstanding with our room but everyone helped to clear the situation immediately.
