This place is horrible. Please don't let these fake post of being a great work environment fool you. I was here for close to a year. Started out good and ended in hell. The most hypocritical company I ever worked for. They treat you like a child with the point system, and they are a quantity over quality type of company that could care less about their clients and employees. I'm going to be honest....this place is trash!
Another review below described this as a bottomless pit of a call center. This statement could not be more true. I have never worked with a more unprofessional group in my entire career. I STRUGGLE constantly to get my claims paid on time. I know that every time I need to try and get some type of answer I need to schedule out my entire day dedicated to calling this company and getting 10 different answers from 10 different people. Nobody here has any type of experience in the worker's comp industry and honestly, their incessant need to call EVERY. SINGLE. DAY is keeping me from running my office. I am no longer accepting Medrisk referrals, and will cancel my contract with them ASAP.
If you're looking to do business with them because you think it will expand your referrals, seriously reconsider. It is absolutely not worth the endless extra hours I have to spend to make sure they're following up on their end of the bargain.
It pained me to give them even one star. Medrisk is the most unorganized, and fraudulent companies I have ever dealt with. I am a medical biller and every time Medrisk is involved with a workers comp claim it takes over a year for the claims to get paid. You can never speak to the billing department or a supervisor, they never have a phone number, they make you speak to a department that has limited information. After waiting for them for 45 minutes to get on the phone they come back and say they have no answer, seems like a waste of money to me to have that department in the first place, then you have to wait for a supervisor to get back to you and to my surprise they never call back. I will be filing a complaint with the workers comp board. Please do your employees a favor and do not use this company.
Horrible!! More worried about saving a few bucks than treating the patient!! I was suppose to start my PT for a hand injury ASAP, but Medrisk pushed it back 9 days stating my Hand Docs PT was out of network I can t hardly move my hand as it is but have to wait 6 more days than originally scheduled!!!
I still have nightmares from working here even though it was almost two years ago. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE!!!!!!!!! DO NOT WORK HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would have been a decent"game changer"except the trainer is racist, prejudice, snarky, and unprofessional. Turned a grain of salt discrepancy into a mountain. Had 2 different trainers who had 2 different phone policies pertaining to training room phone use on break. Christian also made an extremely menacing comment of "I'm going to kill the person that changed this page in my trainer's manual" At that point I no longer felt safe as he his quite large in stature and has a demeanor akin to Adolf Hitler. I tried to tell someone but was released from employment because of Christian F... The exact person that made me feel unsafe. Guess MedRisk likes to hire/promote these types of people.
If I could put less than one I would. This is a endless bottom pit of a call center. I was not told at time of hire about daily quotas. Nothing is explained to make sense. The training is a joke and set up for failure. There is no order in any aspect of this company and I now see why more than half of the company is made up of temp employees and they have high turnover. I had 2 flat tires that kept me from making it to work and was given 2 points. If your sick they want a Dr note each time. Who does that? Instead of resting to prepare for the next day you'd spend half the day on the phone with a dr office. I gave notice that I had gotten another position and they decided to end my assignment after lunch. RUN do not walk in the opposite direction. Clueless is an understatement!!
Very deceptive and constantly involved in some kind of fraud. Check out the conflict of interest below from the two 5 star reviews. Both individuals work for the staffing agency MedRisk uses to abuse temporary workers (google their name and LinkedIn). A recruiter should not be trying to falsely improve a business' rating so that they can gather more business. That is called fraud.
I work with Medrisk on a regular basis. They are always friendly, courteous, and prompt in their correspondence. I have placed many strong candidates in various departments over the last few years and have seen several candidates quickly move in to team lead and management roles!

Do not get claims processed in a timely manner - Still waiting on claim to get process after 9 months. Reached out to corporate office and I got the same answer - little more time as carrier has not paid us.
MedRisk is an awesome company! They offers tons of growth, a fun working environment and gives you the skills you need to be successful! They always make sure their management team is properly trained to guide their departments! I have recruited a ton of my friends and family to this company and they have all been here for 3+ years!

How come when my DOCTOR says I need physical therapy 3 times a week for 4 weeks, MEDRISK seems to think they know more and reduce my therapy to 2 times a week for 2 weeks. You're all despicable. My doctor ordered the therapy, my insurance company paid for it, and then what? You guys get to keep some visits as a tip? Awful group of people.
RUN fast!! They have NO concept of health issues or serious medical situations. Clueless is the best way to describe this group. You could be on your death bed and the sing son g voice calls you (not your attorney, as you told her every time she calls) to set up excerise. CLUELESS, obviously they have no knowledge of medical care. This group appears to have NO common sense when it comes to simple care plans. THey don't inform themselves with previous history. DUH, might help to know what the disability is to JUST MAYBE use common sense to go forward.
My advise, if you get assigned this group, run to the attorney to deal with them. If you don't have one, GET one to step in on your behalf. So far, I have one, and this group thinks laws don't apply to them. Not sure what the qualifications are to work here, but so far I have NOT experience d anyone with a medical degree or advanced nursing degrees, yet they are ordering you to comply with ??whose doctors orders? As a nurse, with extensive experience, it scares me that as a patient I am expected to just follow whoever and whatever some strancger tells me. All calls are recorded, but I still have NOT received anything in writing from anyone at this group. Just a thought, I wonder if I should record them ? That way there is no confussion. Hope I don;t have to cross this bridge, as they again were told NOT to contact me. Please before dealing with this group, KnOW what your RIGHTS are in your state. PA laws may NOT apply to your state. I identify my credentials when I act in a professional manner, these calleres say their name and no other professional credentials or even if they have any medical foundation. THe message left was that I told the caller previously , her words i was "sick". I had been in the ER and treated for a potentially fatal condition. She claims I told her I was "sick" in a non believing tone. Like I said, this group is scary and you need someone to step in and protect you. A stranger calls and gives you orders??? YOU only have ONE life, use your common sense before you follow orders from a stranger. Get everything in writing, and if they won't do it, THAT is the RED flag. Their directions have changed between calls, so protect yourself.
Just got fired yesterday because I reacted to people stealing from my desk. They are a horrible company with a bunch of snakes in the grass. Lurking to get you out. Run fast! I came in on time every day, never called out, yet the people who were late every single day and called out every single day are still sitting there getting paid. A shady company for sure! Advise no one to work there!
