I am very satisfied with the doctors and other employees of the ENT, ophthalmology and MDL departments.

During my admission / surgery I received excellent assistance and care.

The only point of criticism is the long waiting time for surgery and preliminary examination at the dept surgery (MDL).

No opinion about the hospital, I have not been there, but the desk employee must definitely take training for the services.
I just called to report that they sent an SMS about an appointment to the wrong number (my number) and the desk lady kept asking for my details !? To visit me in sisteem !? And although I said several times that I am just a private person who would like to report nicely that someone will miss his appointment because a message has been sent to a wrong person, she said very unfriendly 'then I can do nothing for you madam, bye !! '
That lady is ready to give up her seat for a young friendly one !!

You make an appointment to arrange things at work, you receive a letter at home that the weather is different. It is not the case that people work in the hospital, people also work outside the hospital.

Today for research. Was spicy. But what made up for it was that everything went well on schedule. That is also possible if everyone is on time. Compliments to the staff who guided everything! Friendly, calm and professional! After the examination I was able to go to the restaurant where I had a healthy and delicious lunch. Prefer not to come but if there is something I have the impression that you are in professional hands. Great!

First aid. Extremely strict and unfriendly. The young woman from the guard was also extremely friendly !!!
The aforementioned lady can also show a bit of understanding that people are not having fun at the Emergency Department. This was not only with me, but she did it with several people.
Sisters and brothers very friendly. Also those who walk with you to a certain department (the walking routes are a bit unclear. Only for a first visit).
I find the MCL's skills and ability to be excellent. TOP!

Hospital is perfect. The restaurant against that is sad to say the least. Especially since the hot food and the soup were cold. And it is expensive here for what you get! 2 chicken legs (literally small, you better call them hummingbirds) for 3 euros 25! The sign next to it literally said 2 legs p.p. and look for the chicken. For 3 people I lost no less than 30 euros for food that you expect to be hot and healthy than this undersized food, if you can identify it as food. Rob Geus goes here as the fire brigade. Preferably yesterday!

Badly reached appointment line .... super bad ... even worse 30 min .. had a tape, "make your choice no.1 or no.2, my provider does not support this service, so no choice, with a well-functioning company you are put through .... not here, band keeps asking ... making an appointment is therefore impossible and unsuccessful.you will only have an almost death experience, who should I call, the band make your choice are you dying or are you you almost dead ...
No answer .. patient dies ..

Great hospital in Leeuwarden with an outpatient clinic in Harlingen.
Handy for when you often have to have blood tests and live nearby - or in Harlingen.
In Leeuwarden you often have to wait a long time before it is your turn.
But it can also be fast, for example with a bone density measurement
A pity that you have to pay for parking, but that is now true almost everywhere.

Nice hospital, routes are well marked. I do think that more attention should be paid to visitors, such as coffee / tea / chocolate milk, just like in the UMCG. Because the coffee machines in the hallway are often empty.
The visitors must of course also have something to drink, even though they have been there for so long.

I also think it is a nice stay, I am now included here and the service is top notch, it differs per nurse, but they all do their best for the patient.

Good hospital, waiting times are long but when it was serious I got priority everywhere.
That is annoying for the people who are waiting there, but necessity comes first, because of this I have gained more understanding of the working method.

Good Nursing and Surgery!
If you want to buy or eat something there, you can bring a big wallet .. Or, as a patient, a jar of salt to season everything!
Furthermore, it is a bit of a maze but once you've been where you need to be, you'll be fine ..
Parking is also very expensive!

Very unprofessional. Real bad experience with his administration that before his ineptitude came to threaten to send my data to the debt list agency. Then I call them and they could not send me a copy of invoice saying that I paid because they needed to scan it and it was a lot of work.

My MCL !!

My MCL !!
November last year my hip had to be replaced for the second time.
Before you lie on the operating table, many preliminary examinations are conducted.
Wherever I went: with team specialists, X-ray department, blood bank or nursing department;
what a kindness and helpfulness after the operation, which was a great success.
For an insecure and vulnerable patient, I felt this as a warm cloak around me.
Thanks again to you all, in particular to Dr. Zijlstra.

Very nice and big hospital. There are golf carts everywhere and they want to take you everywhere. Nice doctors / sisters / brothers / desk staff and you will be helped well. Unfortunately they could not opend my leg, so that happened at the UMCG Groningen. I had eye surgery here. And that operation was very successful. This is a good hospital.

Came for a broken nose I stayed for the anesthetic and the nice pillow. My nose was broken so I had to put it right under general anesthesia, it was exciting to do. The bed was wonderful and I could not taste the famous hospital food. but the anesthetic went quickly and smoothly so that was dealt with quickly. Afterwards I woke up screaming because I felt like KFC and was there (which is also very close to mcl Leeuwarden). I woke up too quickly due to the anesthesia and was soon brought to the normal room. I waited there until I was prescribed painkillers and then left. As the Cliniclowns said at the start (which I didn't mention): fun for the whole family!

By participating in Marc Hemmelder, internist-nephrologist MCL and also executive director of Nefrovisie, I have been given antibiotics for more than 6 months and that 3 times a week! Plus a few weeks in a wheelchair and after 6 months of surgery. He did not observe the hygiene requirements and has performed an action with me that is not allowed, a kidney specialist must know that for sure as a foreman of the association of kidney specialists .. But well as in many hospitals: shut up and you have nothing to say about your body or your life. I did and I got a red card from MCL. Reason is unknown to me, but I know one thing for sure: Marc Hemmelder's mistakes are not given as a cause. I had VGZ call and the mcl leeuwarden told me: "Because of privacy we are not allowed to say anything" which is a nonsense and I did not receive any paperwork from the red card, which is the requirement in accordance with the pilot project " safe care "from the hospital in Alkmaar. Incidentally, I think the dialysis department is good except for dialysis nurse "Jan" who, in my opinion, misled me for a false reason.

Bad hospital for victims of medical misses and especially for the many dental mistakes. Especially ENT and Oral and oral surgery. Those doctors lie and cheat about X-rays and treatments. They try to trick you with bogus diagnoses and all kinds of tricks to cover up medical mistakes from, in this case, a dentist and refuse to fix them. Endoscope films are deliberately deleted from the hard drive. Bad address if mistakes by dentists are suspected (applies to more hospitals by the way). Nerve treatments are dangerous! Avoid this hospital.

You usually hear nothing when something goes well.
I am very satisfied with the speed at which my doctor Ten Wolde is acting and his communication with the Mcl if it is really necessary. On Monday to the doctor, Tuesday various examinations in the Mcl. Called by the doctor on Tuesday about a abnormal blood test. He immediately made an appointment for me with an internist where I could go on Wednesday. Various studies are now taking place in which people are prepared to find a hole in the agenda.

Hats off to this joint fast approach.
