I wish I could give them negative stars. They have been managing our all-owners building for less than 2 years and they have done very little other than increasing the monthly HOA by 40%. There is a fee for everything, even for submitting online payment using a checking account (not credit card). I'm not sure if it's because they are so used to managing large rental properties for corporate landlords, their attitudes towards all of our owners make us feel that they are the bosses, not us. They keep sending us emails about new rules of the building which only make their job easier, without any prior consultation with the tenants. The bottom line: They are running a shady business whose main objective is to squeeze as much money from their clients as possible without doing their job. I'm currently in the process of contacting other tenants of our building to figure out a way to fire them.
Mediate Management Company manages the condo association where I live. I only have good things to say about them: they are super responsive, communicative and efficient. Every issue (when there is one) is handled professionally. I fully recommend them as a management team.
They nickle and dime you for everything.... and provide really no services... I can not wait to never deal with these thieves again. In addition to paying these criminals $500 a month to do simply nothing they want over $600 dollars just to send me documents relating to the condo..... Sincerely the absolute worst management company I've ever dealt with.

Mediate has managed my condo for the past three years while I have been on an extended out of town assignment. I could not have asked for a more professional, responsive, and trustworthy partner. Repairs are completed swiftly and correctly. Rent is collected and forwarded promptly. And they are always on top of the paperwork.

I've worked with several different residential property management companies over the years and Mediate Management has been consistently professional, responsive and responsible. We've worked with them in the Back Bay area and they go the extra mile. While they're more expensive than most management companies, you get good quality - and this makes a difference when dealing with large capital investments.
Excellent management. Excellent problem solving. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent Customer Service. They are head and shoulders above the rest. Especially when dealing with high value properties that require a bespoke plan of action.
The building has so many issues... fruit flies, mice issues, and the company is very unreliable. Maintenance delays cleaning and repairs and does not follow up. Worst company I've ever had to deal with. We had a broken oven for over a month and the new installation date has been pushed back 3 times.. and all three times I've been the one to have to contact the company. They do a horrible job about communication. Not living in one of their apartments ever again.

I am a broker who has listed condos in a few different properties that Mediate manages. I have dealt with dozens of management companies over the years and Mediate has always been on top of their transactions, they respond politely and in a timely manner, and they meet their deadlines. I have dealt with Carol Belcher most recently and she is an asset to their team. Not all management companies are the same, and Mediate passes my test!
I absolutely adore everyone that works at Mediate, they are so kind and responsive. When you put in a request they send someone out right away... and 9/10 times they re hilarious. I can t imagine how hard it would be to property manage the old buildings in Boston but they do such a good job and I m incredibly grateful!
Our association just discovered that Mediate Management chose to not pay our bills for the first 4 months of the 2018. There were no financial issues, there was plenty of money in our account. Mediate simply chose to not pay our bills because THEY had decided in January to not pursue a renewal of our contract with them. Even though our existing contract had not expired yet, Mediate decided to go into a "lame duck" mode and simply not pay bills. Completely unprofessional.

Mediate managed our buildings for ~ 3 years, one of the worst experiences in the building management history. Property Manager Matt Harris was very good with emails but just emails, no knowledge of building management, no attention to simple details, they were paper pushers not interested to get involved in anything above their 9-5 job. We ended up firing them but it cost us a lot of money to have them mis-manage our building for ~3 years. The building trustees ended up spending a lot of time to review their work to the extend we didn't need mediate to be involved in decision making.
I am a Trustee at a mid-sized luxury condo building on Beacon Hill. I've worked with the Mediate team for over seven years. I find them responsive, competent, thorough and professional. They do an excellent job managing the building, both project work and day-to-day operations, and I enjoy a constructive working relationship with them. The concierge team we have on-site is terrific. They all go out of their way to make each resident's life easier, safer and more convenient.
