Complicated layout during Covid-19. Restriction take you from one entrance to another, either to collect or return. I returned an item by post only to be told to go to the store to collect my refund, which seems ill thought out during the restrictions. Once in store, I went to the refund area to be told I had to go the service area to collect paperwork to be then sent upstairs to collect a refund on my card, which I had used to make the original payment.
It's a strange process but not the fault of the staff. They were very helpful and did their very best to explain this convoluted process.
To MediaMarkt - Please don't have a "collection from store" process in place to keep people apart then, expose them to higher risk for returns. Sending them inside a store to participate in an electronic transaction return process that does not even involve the returned product or cash does not make any sense at all.
