I wish that I could give six stars. We've had my mom in many similar facilities this year and Medford Care Center was the best by far. Very clean. Very friendly and caring staff. They went above and beyond what could be expected.
My mother was a patient her for rehab. Thankfully she was able to manage for herself. They are very short staffed. Her room was not clean when we arrived, she was offered only one shower for the ten days she was there. Her laundry was never done even though I asked for laundry service when we arrived.
I had my mother in law stay here for a short time and I have nothing but good things to say about the facility. Her care, both nursing and rehab services, were fantastic. I was always in contact with the staff and all of my questions and concerns were addressed promptly.
My experience with the facility is one I hope I never have to experience again. The facility is where you send your loved ones to die. They are made to suffer and die of painful death. I had several conversations with the facility as well as samaritan hospice regarding my daughter's meds. Every time I saw her she was in extreme pain. My daughter was on morphine and two other meds and was always wide awake. I asked why and got the runaround. I'm very disappointed and upset. I spoke with the nurse from samaritan about the medication problem and less than 7 hours later I received a call my daughter passed.
