Medarex is a subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company that is dedicated to discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines to patients with serious diseases. In addition to IO therapies, Medarex is also developing drugs targeting other pathways involved in cancer growth and survival. For example, it recently announced positive results from a phase II trial evaluating MEDI9197 (a TLR7 agonist) combined with durvalumab (an anti-PD-L1 antibody) in patients with advanced solid tumors.
