Meal Temple Review

Absolutely appalling service. Website claims that they can deliver up to 8km away. I tried to order from a restaurant 6km away from my guesthouse, and they called back claiming it's too far away. Frustrated, I changed my order to a BurgerKing just 2KM away! And this time, they still could not deliver. What's the use of a food delivery app if you cannot deliver 2km?

We ordered dinner for our children. They said it would be 35 minutes, one hour later we called back and they said it would be another hour if we wanted to receive what we had ordered. No accommodation just, "if you don't want, cancel your order". Will not use this service again.

I was scared when i ordered and saw so many bad reviews as im in a hurry but the food came really fast. Faster then i every would have expected.

Downside is that you cant see the progress/location as with the competing apps.

Five days a week I order from Meal Temple for work, and at least two times a week I receive a phone call (occasionally 30/40 minutes later) saying they can't get through to the restaurant. When you're hungry and at work, this is very frustrating. Meal Temple should be far more careful with who they allow onto their app. I've officially given up on them and have moved to the Your Phnom Penh app.

I really love using this service, it is really efficient and the staff is always nice ! I find all my favorite restaurants in Phnom Penh, so happy to know this group!

Hi, im from Banh mi and Bros! i really doesn t recommend this delivery service at all! im a merchant with them and didn t get my payment for one month, i contact them many time via mail, phone, and messenger! Only get to talk to a lady that doesn t care at all, can t get trough the manager or owner, sorry they are overseas so nobody care! Very bad customer service!!!

a very nice experiance! for me now it is the best food delivery of Phnom Penh, friendly staff, quick delivery, quality of the food!

I've dealt with meal temple the past year I've lived in Phnom penh.

Firstly their delivery estimated times are not correct, I have to wait an extra hour on top of their estimated time every time for my meal to arrive, and I've ordered over 20 times. So on average from the moment my order is placed I wait 1.5 hours until delivery.

Secondly their website and app is terrible. On the website there is no way to check your cart because the link for it is broken, so I cannot remove something from my cart on the website and have to abandon that account. I have contacted them in regards to this and I received no response. The app also provides no customer support.

Compared to their competitors they do not provide real time tracking and does not show when the food is picked up or in transit. This service needs a serious overhaul. It's a complete mess of an app.

The bad UI design, broken website and lack of service is why I'm moving away from this app.

For a delivery, they now ask 2 usds!! better order with niam24...

I use Meal Temple every time since my coming in Phnom Penh ( 4 years ago ).
I am everytime pleased about drivers efficiency and by their professionalism!
One time i had questions about my order and the call center answered me directly and take time to explain me and to propose me new kind of food if i want to try, they have so many choices!

I understand their good reputation over Phnom Penh!

Surprised to see the mealtemple advertising in the French-speaking Cambodian press given the quality of service offered ... more than disastrous application, very complicated deliveries ... and non-existent customer service !!
Before going to "conquer" other countries, it would have been more wise to give ourselves the means to make the service a minimum in Cambodia!

It's my fault for continuing to use this service after consistently having issues with orders. They'll call you 30 minutes after you've placed an order to tell you they can't reach the company, but when you call the company, it's fine. However, the company won't take your order because you have to go through MealTemple. Whoowhee.

Unsuccessfully tried to reach them to become a merchant with them.
Everytime the same answer : we will get back to you. Never do.
Their sales person uses a messaging app, sees my messages but won't do anything about it.
I am grateful I found out early on that it is not in my benefit to partner with them.

Bad communication and bad service, would not recommend

They recently "updated" their website and it does not work.

I placed my order on the site, my order was showing in my account,everything looked normal. I sat here waiting for 2 hours and then I finally contacted Meal temple on the telephone only to find out my order had not been received.

For a company that relies on their website, this is just ridiculous. This was not an isolated incident nor was it the first time I have had issues with the website or am order.

The delivery guys are great, they try very hard, but the guy in charge of the website needs to go back to school...

I just ordered meal temple for the 1st time great experience , took 23 mins to get my food. Also someone called me speaking in English to tell me my food got delivered.

What utterly atrocious service. Order via the app - which includes an option to pin your location - then perhaps the biggest idiot to ever enter the world of customer service phones to ask location. I explain that I have pinned my location on THEIR app but he wants me to send it by email. Totally useless and will never use again
