Where to begin with the beautiful and renowned Meadowood. I've been to Meadowood for multiple occasions. But lets review my latest and quite possibly my last visit to this chic destination. Being from the area I wasn't at all surprised by the simple beauty of the grounds. It's well kept and surrounded by a lush forest. Upon arriving I encountered the housekeeping crew in the spa parking area. These would be the most pleasant people I talked to during my entire visit. They were all very sweet and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I did enjoy my massage. The gentleman did a wonderful job and the staff at the spa was pleasant and helpful. However, the restaurant crew seemed extremely discourteous and almost miserable catering to our table. It was only four of us and they treated us as if we were not welcomed at all. I'm not even talking about the room temperature water (it was about 105 degrees outside and very warm inside as well), I didn't even notice everyone else in the restaurant had ice in their glasses until a friend brought it to my attention. Or the odd stares from the servers and hostess from behind their station. The attitude of almost every employee could use some serious improvement. I'm shocked that such a highly acclaimed establishment would retain such an amateurish and incompetent crew. Nor would I be surprised if said crew preformed this way due to the lack of responsible management and proper pay from such a "high end" establishment. I expected more and was sorely disappointed. Unfortunately it only takes one bad experience to ruin a good thing, but when you consider the fact almost the entire crew was acting this way one can only conclude it's a growing problem.

The cabins were a bit remote and if you choose to stay around during the day you will watch golf carts go by every 5 minutes filled with grounds crew and housekeeping. Definitely not worth 2000.00 a night. We were there for a Goldman Sachs event and the restaurant was not open

Amazing dining experience. The service was attentful and very knowledgeable about what they were serving. The courses were well paced, and none of them too large. Worth noting that beforehand, we stopped by the bar. I recommend everyone do this. The cocktails are in another universe of delicious. Perfect balance, unique infusions and elixirs, great taste.

Even though we were disappointed to have had rainy weather during our entire stay, we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The rooms are like individual cottages with their own wood burning fireplaces. The service from the staff was remarkable, and the spa was like nothing else we've experienced. Once in a lifetime getaway, highly recommend.

Meadowood is a charm to stay at, with their sprawling individual cottages, some of which are connected with a common area. This would be incredibly cool for friend/ family outings, hanging out at night.

The breakfast is world class (omelettes and english muffins were scrumptious) and has a nice golf course. Their Restaurant is definitely worth going to, being one of the best not just in California, but in the West Coast! Their gift shop has some lovely/ fashionable scarves.

It is also very close to a lot of other fantastic St. Helena attractions, such as the CIA Greystone.

I really enjoyed my stay here, but an point to improve on. The cottages are quite old and could do a touch up.

Can recommend, especially their incredible restaurant!

We could not have been more blown away by our experience at Meadowood. The property and accommodations are absolutely stunning, and the service exceeded our every expectation.

From the setting to the scenery, to the reception area, restaurant, amenities and the ROOM!, we were amazed at every turn. The attention to detail is second to none, and the courteousness of the staff was wonderful.

Thank you so much for making our engagement celebration weekend one that we will never forget.

Won a trip here through much job. Best first class experience ever. Mercedes shouttles or Jeeps escort you around anywhere you go. On your beckon call. Food (even in room service) is fine dining unlike any other experience. Will certainly be a good spot for an anniversary, wedding or just to get away. Spa was wonderful and staff is very friendly but down to earth. Five stars.

The occasion was our anniversary. I felt, as always, my wife deserved something special. I made a reservation to stay a few days Meadowood Napa Valley. As we left Silverado Trail, we drove through vineyards and up a lane surrounded by forest to an entrance gate house where we were greeted by friendly staff confirming our visit. Upon leaving the gate house we continued to drive through vegetation and woods that removed you from the realities of everyday life. We followed the road to the reception area and were greeted by very friendly staff to help with luggage and parking. The check-in personnel were very polite and treated us like we were old friends coming back to Meadowood as returning guests (this was our first visit). We were escorted to our room which was perfect! The room was well appointed and included a fireplace well stocked with wood. The living area provided a feeling of coziness while at the same time was more than adequate. We had French doors opening up to a private patio overlooking the croquet area. Looking out over the expansive grounds, all we saw were these huge beautiful trees and vegetation offering the feeling of complete relaxation and privacy. We found it challenging to leave the property to spend time enjoying the local towns and scenery. The staff were very attentive without being invasive. During our stay, we were always being asked if there was anything that could be done for us and communicated in a manner of sincerity by all. There are memorable experiences and then there are experiences worth repeating, this is one of those times. We look forward to our return visit to Meadowood at Napa.

This is straight out of a dream. When you see the beautiful, expansive building that seems to belong settled between the trees, you are here. Every place you look is covered in beauty you could not imagine.

The perfect place for a weekend getaway, or a wedding! This resort has 250 acres of lush greenery, 4.5 miles of hiking trails, the most attentive and wonderful staff, and a three Michelin star restaurant where we had an amazing dinner. What a magical and memorable stay.

Had dinner for our 5 year anniversary. Splurged by reserving 2 seats at the chef's counter. While it is pricy, the experience is truly unique. We had direct view of all aspects of food preparation. Chef Kostow runs a tight operation and the results are exquisite. Food was excellent in presentation and well executed. As part of the experience, we had a tour of the entire kitchen and had a moment to interact with chef Kostow himself. I absolutely appreciate having the opportunity to have this glimpse into how much work and coordination go into producing a fine dining experience.

My husband and I held our wedding at Meadowood on June 6, 1990 and continued every year to the Napa Valley Wine Auctions. I worked with Nancy Andrus once when we created the Chihuli event that brought in $14m the year we ran it.

My husband and I enjoyed a private tasting of the 1990 Harlan Estate with Bill in his office that year and we bought a case for $30/bottle that magical time in Meadowood.

Our hearts were crushed in seeing the devastation last night and more today. It was good to hear your resolute voice of promising recovery. You will be back just as we will.

Our best regards to you, Bill, Debbie and Do Weaver. We thank you for the commitments you bring.

We had dinner at the Grill at the Measowood. It was pretty nice, with a good view of the golf course. Unfortunately there were quite a few mosquitos on the patio outside, and while staff eventually got some candles to repel them we both got a couple of bites. The food was quite good, their ceviche appetizer was excellent, as was both of the desserts and the cocktails we had. But their "Wagyu" burgers were a bit overcooked and were a bit disappointing in general.
