My mother developed a grade 4 bed sore over about 2, 3 weeks tops once a grade one was identified, and it simply wasn't addressed properly. The head doctor even admitted that he had not seen it until it got to grade 4. Wanna see what that looks like? google it. Their procedure for handling bed sores is ridiculous. Better make sure your loved one isn't bed ridden before they go there or ... Not a fan of Meadowbrook. From poor food to aides not being responsive to something as simple as rotating a bed ridden patient, oh i could go on and on. Epic fail all around. Try the county home instead.

My dad was there for 2 years. The staff was amazing they took him in as their own grandpa they all called him papa. They were nice loving very caring group of people We were there every day and not once did we find him dirty or neglected. I HONESTLY can't say enough good stuff about this place. The day my dad died every one on staff who took care of him came in to say goodbye some were crying. Does that sound like a facility that doesn't care

Not happy with the care nor the excuse of short staffing. My Father-in-law died there...He suffered greatly.

Having some second thoughts since five months ago. Guess there is no perfect nursing home ,however if you work with people that that are put in place to help you , you can improve on some bad situations. They are way understaffed.

World Class Facility! World Class Staff! My father was a resident for the last three months of his life. The entire staff went way beyond what we expected to give him care and comfort. I highly recommend for both Rehab Care and Nursing Care!

This facility treats their staff terribly. My high school aged sister worked for them for a couple months- they consistently yelled at her, threatened her, and degraded her! Her co-workers told her that when they started they used to go home and cry every day as she has. She even asked off for her graduation well within the alloted time and they refused. When she went in to give her notice because she needed to focus on her studies and college prep they threatened to call BOCES and make sure she would not get in by talking bad about her. While I know many staff memebers work hard to keep residence happy and healthy it is WRONG of this facility to treat those staff memembers so poorly. I would not recommend working here or allowing your loved one to live here.

Some of the worst care I have ever seen! Have you ever heard of humiliating an elderly person and putting them in time out? They put an 80 year women in timeout at the nurses station today.

That's a bad place to stay or go to visit I wouldn't put my dog in this place
