Fun course in rural Rhode Island. The fairways have many twists, turns, ups, and downs, which add interest to the round. The routing of the holes is excellent and greens rolled very true. Great price too.

Great course. Well maintained. A little pricey but still worth it. Best course in southern ri. I didnt like that we were rushed by the grounds men who kept following is even though we kept a good pace and were basically the only ones on the course

I have to temper that rating. Played there Monday, April 13, 2015. The greens fees were $45 for riding, with no discount for seniors. The greens obviously hadn't been mowed since last year and were extraordinarily slow. In addition, there weren't even rakes at any of the sand traps, resulting in foot prints and other obvious disruptions to the sand.

Given those adverse golfing conditions it would have been prudent to offer lower rates. The net result was a black eye for the management, which of course will heal over time since the course, when in good condition, is one of the area's finest. However, a black eye nonetheless, and one that was unnecessary . . . one caused by lack of inconsideration for golfing clients.

What an outstanding golf course. Beautiful layout that works its way through the native trees and hills. This course is meticulously maintained. Fairways were bent grass. Large greens were well protected by perfectly groomed bunkers, they rolled true on all 18. Play this course from the back and you're looking at +7,400 yards. Plenty of tee options in front of that. A very manageable 6,500 yards from the normal tees. No driving range, however. Great post round pub to eat and drink.

Fun to play from the tips. Great conditions for public play. Rangers tried to push pace of play with a slow group in front of us. Voucher for food after the round. I hope the RIGA does an event here soon.

Five and a half hours to play 18 holes is obscene. No ranger on a Friday? Crazy. The foursome ahead of us wouldn t tee off until the group ahead was on the green already and there was nothing we could do about it. Good course. Not a great course. And definitely not worth 5.5 hours. Could have played in 4 hours if a ranger was present. The Hendricks family should be ashamed

I really like this golf course and for a public course, it sort of feels like private course conditions. The greens are always fast, professionally designed layout, and some gorgeous views as well. Highly recommend golfing here.

A beautiful course that is breathtaking!! The course is tough and long!! It can play as much as 7500 yards from the back tees, they have 5 sets of tees for all handicaps, i play from the green tees which play 6532 yards!! A golf cart is necessary for this course

Beautiful, somewhat challenging and diverse course. Was my second time playing and will be returning. -1 star because the ranger was a rude jerk to us after not being very clear about when to start after we had tee'd off.

Exceptional public golf course! One of the best in RI.
Huge greens, check your yardage to the flag. Medium speed right now but fairly fast in season. Easy to walk with no big elevation changes. Highly recommended.

The reason I said only three and not five, I will say that the grounds were very nice but the players on the course were rude obnoxious it was backed up every hole for at least 15 minutes. They're actually became a verbal argument between two groups that became very disturbing.

I haven t played at Meadow Brook since right before Facebook was invented. Back then you could play for $10 and if no one was working that day, you could still use the Honor Box and get in a full 18 or more. The course had a lot of potential and the new ownership has finally taken it to the next level and beyond.

The attention to detail around the tee boxes and greens makes this Hendrick Family golf course one of the best in Rhode Island. The fairways are cut to perfection and the hazards are...well...hazardous! The course plays long and trees are in play on most holes. Bring your A game if you want to break 100 here. 5 stars all the way around!

The course itself is probably the best public in the area save perhaps Lake of Isles at Foxwoods. It's a great design with lots of variety hole to hole and large greens that are pretty fair. There are many tees to chose from that aren't just two sets of tee markers on the same tee box; each tee actually provides a significantly different experience and range from under 6K to upwards of 7.5K yds. Additionally, it's conveniently located near I95 but not so close you can hear the highway.

Downsides are that there are virtually no facilities to speak of: no range, minimal practice green, and a very measly clubhouse oddly located at the 2nd tee. There is no more than a porta-potty at the turn. Also, you cannot book a tee time online and must call, which is inexcusable this deep into the 21st century.

A weekend tee time is fairly spendy, but there are price breaks to be had early, late, and weekdays which make a round at Meadow Brook definitely worth it.

Played on 11/22, Dan welcomed us when we arrived and the place is just great.
I will be back more often.
For late season golf it's in super condition.
And we'll be putting it on the schedule in the good weather.
