I could not find information about McMaster University and how it really now fares, for I had received a M. Sc. degree i

n mathematics from McMaster university in 1972 when they had already granted me a M. Sc. degree in mathematics. Of course I went to the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in July 1975 from where I received a Ph. D. degree in mathematics in 1980

2 hours of idling in the car to get to residence on moving day, very unorganized university

I love being a McMaster graduate. This university is beautiful, safe, and upholds its reputation as Canada's most innovative university. Some extremely successful, influential, and internationally recognized professors teach here. The degree you will earn here is prestigious. McMaster is the leading school in Canada in terms of medical and science research. Their nursing, engineering, and business programs are absolutely some of the best around. There are issues with every university, and I will admit parking is AWFUL (pricey and far away if you're a student) but that's probably going to be an issue anywhere you go.

I love McMaster. The doctors are very knowledge and there is always somebody to see you, it is not good for people who want just one doctor. Having several doctors is good (for me) it is different for everybody but I enjoy my team

Not recommended for non-Canadians! My friend tried to apply for a course at Master level, she has Professional 5 years Bachelor from outside Canada with A- grade, but the admission coordinator after 2 months of repeated follow ups had audacity to say that you need to do undergraduate course again! I think they want immigrants to go to low grade colleges while making Universities reserved for their own flock!

A decent institution and place to study and work but their parking rates for visitors and staff/faculty/students are ridiculously high. Their new MOSAIC/PeopleSoft/ERP system must be one of the biggest wastes of money in Canadian University history.

So poorly run and administrated. To add to all the other negative comments that are completely true!!.. The parking is outrageous!! The campus pulls in over 5 million dollars a year in parking tickets and parking meters. Disgraceful!!

The houstipal was cleaned and staff was nice and helpful

Greatest university I could've asked for to do my undergrads. Prof is very knowledgeable and students are very friendly and easy going. Incredibly diverse and lots of student groups.

Don't get me wrong - classes are no jokes and you WILL want to pull your hair out during finals. Most students eventually will find a way to deal with stress by partying hard!

Excellent school. Very prestigious and reputable. The commerce program in McMaster is very unique and impressive.

I am the first in my family to ever go to a top ranked school in Canada. They make sure your education is not only high-quality but also uninterrupted by any problems and there are always people here to help. The alumni are always noted for their achievements. Every graduate is almost guaranteed to go far. This is place where degrees aren't bought, sold or forged. If you get it, you earned it and you should give yourself a big pat on the back for it.

Terrible place to send your kids if you want them to understand concepts such as freedom of speech, equality of opportunity and diversity of thought. If you want your kids to become intellectually deficient social justice automatons. Then McMaster is the place for you.

Top notch school, although stores seem to suffer - the education and school in Hamilton are bar none amazing.

Mid-sized university with intense research atmosphere. Ranked within top 100 universities in the world and top 4 in Canada. Located in a safe and peaceful area. Convenient transportation to downtown Hamilton.

I wish that the Child life program was more available online and just come into the school when need be. I live a good 3 to 4 hours away from McMaster University. Maybe one day it will be.....

One of best university campus, but education is taught by old outdated 60 year professors.

BEWARE OF MEGA AARON, he might be walking in a circle. He is a nice, circular student who has a thing for getting in cars of those of the orient

Worst experience of my life, thank goodness I ve finished my program. Wouldn t recommend social sciences or humanities here. Some of the profs not all are stuck up and believe they know absolutely everything and are not willing to accommodate for emergencies or extenuating circumstances.

I have spent 5 years of my life here and I love it so much that I don't wanna leave lol. Absolutely magnificent university including one of the best campuses in North America. Excellent curriculums, extremely well organized social structure. McMaster also incorporates the utilization of technology at every cornerstone!

A world renowned institution and undoubtedly the best Canadian university.

Where in planet earth exams are done at 10pm or 11pm at night .The human brain works much better in morning after good night sleep.

I have had a very personal experience with Mc Master and always support their charity work. When one of my children was staying in the sick children`s ward I got to really see the values of this great establishment. There are no words that I can say to thank the staff for the treatment of my little guy`s illness.

Although a lengthy experience at the top of their class for healthcare. Hats off to all all of the doctors and staff.

Great Drs , helpful directions from Front desk when calling & Admin. Staff friendly and professional esp. considering Covid... but entrance & underground parking needs better signage.

I studied engineering at Mac. It's a decent school, but not all the courses were useful. The residences were very old, but internet speed was good. They upgraded a lot in infrastructure since I graduated.

I had great.experience with campus technicians. Thank you for repairing my laptop!

People are gonna have mixed experiences depending on the life they lived, and how much return they got from their education. Overall, it is a good school, but what you make of it is largely a part of the experience. Being an introvert, I didn't involve myself enough in student activities or social life, and I fell through the cracks in the system despite being an honours graduate. They should focus less on academic theory but bridging that connection to the real world. That's ultimately where you'll either fail or succeed. University, teaches you nothing about that.

World famous institution in Hamilton's west end, nestled up to Cootes Paradise.

Alma mater, spent six years here, undergraduate students are there, and have feelings!

The student activist groups are toxic. Avoid this place like the plague that it is.

WORST ACADEMIC ADVISING EVER. NO STAFF IS HELPFUL AND THEY'RE ALL DISCOURAGING.

Great school for engineering programs with good professors who knows their stuff relating to the program and their topics. Great environment, clean school and many buildings to travel around, see new things and meet new people.

I would recommend this school for engineering technology program, even though it's not easy and independent work is required, but at the end you could learn a lot and leading to big success.

McMaster University is a Canadian university founded in 1887 CE and located in Hamilton, Ontario.

Went here for fine art. Was the waste of time you probably thought it was.
