Great nursing school, needs to be self motivated or fail to thrive
Quiet highly recommended university with lots of programs in humanity and sciences offered here.
Great place and academic environment. A wide variety of clubs and groups to join.
My only concern is the food. If you stay in residence for a year (which most people do), they force you into a meal card, which is about 3000$. Now if you don't spend your money before a certain date, it all 'expires' and you can no longer access it. But that's if you somehow manage to still have any money left, after paying for overpriced, ridiculously low quality food. Another issue is that if you are following a special diet (kosher, gluten free, vegan) you pretty much can't stay on campus.
Mac is best thing ever happened to me. Great school , Awesome program , superb social life..
As a non traditional student who takes his education very seriously (my sole intention of getting an education is to become more intelligent and get a job to provide for my family) I was disturbed by how pathetic this school was, it is filled with cry-bullies who go around campus banging pots and pans like the 4 year old children they are and call it "protesting". Nothing can describe the harassment and headaches you will get at this university from a very very small minority of students who have nothing better to do yet, for some reason the university allows them to do so, despite the fact that it hinders my ability to succeed,
TL:DR, do not go here if you take your education seriously, go here if you want to inconvenience other adults who do
"when you cut out a mans tongue, you do not do it because he is a liar, you do it because you fear what he has to say"
great, this is student wellness center.
Meditation & mindfulness program take place here
This is an institution that turns a blind eye (to say the least) to the violent, discriminatory, hatred-based, coercive methods adopted by the worst kind of student activism.
Nothing was done to prevent hatred-filled mobs of self-proclaimed social justice warriors to completely disrupt peaceful lectures by well renowned academics under the pretext of standing for some alleged "higher moral standard".
Places like this are a threat to the intellectual integrity of its dwellers, and a total disgrace to the educational system and society as a whole.
Beautiful campus. Still remember the time we expended at library and student centre. Learning swim and playing squash with my friends after class is over. Unforgettable University Life Experience.
Very beautiful and clean, friendly staff, excellent experience.
The University may be good in the education but terrible at service. When I applied to this university I had some doubts that I needed them to clear it. I sent multiple emails about the status of my application or if there were any missing documents for the process, and did not get a single answer. After 1 or 2 months I got an automatic email saying that I had to complete the application process because there were some missing documents, which clearly I asked them if they needed any document from me a couple months ago. All in all, I cancelled my application and fortunately got an offer in a very good university.
The academic aspect is top-notch but the student campus life is a little lacking, some activist groups are toxic and culture clubs are exclusive. Food is mediocre and expensive.
The management system for student to administrate their accounts and courses is terrible.
One of the best universities for higher education in Canada . Be it art science or engineering... math or medicine.. with a lot of fun and enjoyment.. this place is could make you feel like heaven
Worst university experience ever had. I wanted to apply for the iron ring through the Alumni relations staff, they rejected me by mistake. I was %100 confident I'd pass all requirements. However, once I asked them how come you ended up that decision and kindly asked them to review their decision and all the evidences I had provided, the Alumni relations' manager simply and rudely replied me: DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!
So, I applied with exactly the same documents through Conestoga College and within a couple of weeks I got simply accepted. I hope the Mc's heads pay more attention to who they hire as university staff.
I'm 13 not in high school and I'm in love with this already I've got something to work for. I need to be at this beautiful place!
