My salesman Derick saw me and inquired about my truck and if I was still happy with her. And Justin was super attentive to my needs and time crunch I was in. It took a little longer than I hoped it would, but decided to get my oil changed anyway. The whole staff was friendly and seemed to make it a point to say hi.

We had the greatest experience overall. From beginning to the end. Perez great salesman and the finance team was great they worked hard to give us what we wanted. It was a little bit of a ride but we'll worth it.

My husband scheduled maintenance for my vehicle and asked for them to also listen for a strange sound when turning the wheel. They said they would need it for the day. He gladly left it. 2 hours before close, we still had not heard back. He contacted Justin who said they didn t have a chance to check out that sound and would need it another day. After we discussed it, he called and said we d need to pick it up. Turns out that despite our 9:30AM appointment, they didn t even bother to do an oil change, rotation or inspection yet They assured him it would be done by close. We showed up right before closing and while the oil change and rotation was done, the multipoint GMC inspection was not. This was something we specifically reminded them to do because our car will be taking a road trip with a newborn in a few weeks. Justin said he would email it to my husband on Wednesday. Thursday, he said the ticket was closed and he would have to find this inspection, but that they really just checked fluids. In other words, they did not complete something they advertise on their site and is also a requirement of GM dealerships. We are still waiting to hear where this inspection is. Overall, this dealership clearly doesn t prioritize customers with appointments, customer service, or follow through. As someone who has worked in an auto group, I know what the level of customer service should look like and how the service writer should have handled this situation. It was a poor experience and I will be contacting the service manager to rectify it.

The process of buying the car was easy and without stress. Everyone was polite and helpful, particularly Derrick and Brandon. It was a true pleasure working with this team. I look forward to being part of this group as long as I have my car. I have full confidence they will take care of my vehicle very well. And you get free car washes as long as you have the vehicle!!!!

I struggled with how to properly review my overall experience.
Sales = 10. I had great conversations with Chad George. Very friendly and knowledgable
Inventory = 9. Several cars available but obviously, had some impact due to chip shortage
Closing/Financing = 5. There were items that were not discussed or agreed upon that were added to my closing docs. I was extremely disappointed to find these the next day.
Rod Johnson = 12 out 10. Great to work with and discuss. He asked a very simple question that made it right. He asked " what do we need to do to make it right ". A very simple concept. We walked away satisfied and very happy that he intervened.

Both my wife and I have vehicles from McKinney Buick GMC and have continually had great service experiences with the team here. It is nice to work with a dealership that not only works hard to earn your business for a vehicle purchase, but continues to deliver top notch service throughout the life of your vehicle.
