This was an epic experience and anyone who s in city and want to go for an off broadway show, should certainly pay MCC a visit. The theme, star cast, storyline, was so perfect that it kept us glued for the entire time holding our breaths. Indeed a spectacular show and a worth watch for all tourists or NYC locals!
I m following MCC and would be going there as soon as this show is replaced with other; I m hooked!!

The theater is newly renovated and kept very clean. Seats were comfortable. Wish the stage wouldn't be so high up though...as it makes visibility a bit limited and uncomfortable if you're sitting in the first few rows. Sitting in the front left corner for Alice by Heart, I had to stare up and to the right the entire show and still couldn't see everything on stage because the stage sits so high.

We saw Seared, and really liked it. Very well played! Kudos to the ensemble and to the director, for creating a realistic portrait of a troubled genius chef. I thought it was a nice parable relevant to difficult personalities of creative people in any area.
Bonus points for meticulous kitchen technique: little details of knifing and surface cleaning were spot on!

Love it

I traveled specifically to see a show at their theatre. Spoke to them on numerous occasions over the phone and then showed up in person. When I first arrived to the theatre 4 hours before the show I was told I could get last minute rush tickets only 2 hours before the show. I decide to wait around. I return once again to the ticket counter 30 minutes before the show and ask once again if rush tickets remain. I am told yes.

Finally 3 minutes to 6pm someone comes to me asking me for I.d. stating that rush tickets are only available to people under 29 years of age or over 65 years of age. I am neither. They then proceed to tell me that the information is on the website. (Which it is) The problem with that is that if you speak to someone who informs you of the existence of the rush tickets and then provides you with the information to acquire them, what reason or motivation does one have to then go to the website to check the ticket policies if an employee just gave you a ton of info and never mentioned an age requirement let alone did not mention to review ticket policies on their website.

Basically I wasted a lot of time and money because I was misinformed and then made to feel as though it was my fault. That's not ok.
