Installed a pool this year for me. They did a great job. Very friendly staff and very helpful. They show you instructions on how to take care of your pool yourself. They help you with questions you might have. Very helpful with letting you know what chemical you will need and how to use them. I highly recommend McAlarney Pools, Spas,& Billiards. They also winterized my pool this year and employees were so helpful and knowledgeable.
Beware!!! Absolute crooks. Was shocked when my pool opening bill came and was over $1100 and not the $275 we discussed! We were charged for tons of chemicals (for our salt pool) and apparently they decided to change our our 2 year old motor that was working flawlessly when they closed the pool last season. They did all this without telling us. We were home the entire time and actually outside a good bit of the time and very accessible. When I called about the bill Mrs. McAlarney became immediately defensive and wouldnt explain the bill to me and actually hung up on me after demanding I pay that amount. I had to call another pool store just to figure out what the stuff on my bill was! They said they would come take the unapproved equipment back. When my husband went into the store (they refused to answer our phone calls actually had me on hold for 1 hour 36 min) to ask when they would come and get it and get a revised bill to pay for the opening and chemicals Mrs. McAlarney actually called the police on him just for trying to pay our bill like an adult!! They said we were not welcome on their property and they wouldnt speak to us. Mind you we have an open bill with them, so not sure how you can say that. If that doesnt scream guilty i dont know what does! Thankfully the police sided with my husband and saw how out of line she was. Rather than play their crooked games we sent my mother in to pay the whole bill they feel they are owed and be done with them. Now, heres to hoping they dont come take the equipment we paid for! PS pool masters of vienna was so helpful at helping me figure this bill out!

I went in looking for a part for my intex pool. As I walked in a friendly sales person greeted me and helped. As I was shopping the pool inflatables, another sales person approached me to see if she could put my stuff up front. Such kindness from the entire team! Way to focal business! By the way, go check out the pool accessories. Prices for the inflatables are VERY reasonable!
We purchased an above ground pool this spring, and am absolutely thrilled with the purchase, AND service from McAlarneys!! I love the pool ( 28' round), and the store has always been helpful with questions or concerns! Kaitlyn has been more than accommodating, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. I've waited Forever for a pool, ( shout out to these steaming hot summers!!). I couldn't have survived the heat this year without it!! Thanks so much McAlarneys!!!!

READ UP ON THEM BEFORE GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY! Terrible people. Tell you a price for a service then charge you for many things not needed, discussed or even used. I can t help but think some of the positive reviews are fake to boost their rating. The lady answering the phone cursed at my wife when she asked questions about our surprise bill and they charged for services they didn t even perform. They seem to treat most this way. I quoted chemicals and pumps elsewhere and their average markup is %180! Wish I did that sooner. The fact that they threaten immediately to take people to court over discussing a Wrongful bill is disturbing. Shows they swindle so much they have a protocol to attempt to scare people.
