Very unkind staff and also the doctors. Horror hospital !!!

Doctors don't take you seriously and let you wait 8 weeks to view an MRI, and after those 8 weeks you will be told that the MRI has not been viewed.

What a miserable hospital. At 8.30 am the first appointment. And then still helped 45 minutes late, so I now have a parking fine. Thanks . The assistants are also unfriendly. Never to this hell

Have been born there, but now see that the top view has a very suspicious shape. Maybe better that it is closed, otherwise there would have been a lot of commotion about it.

Very good personal service. The hospital staff is very committed and it is visible that they take pride in their work.

I don't know about the other departments but dentistry is fine especially the jaw surgery is excellent

Orthopedie Doctor was horrible. He was not only unable to diagnose me for more than a year, he was also arrogant about his words about other doctors who can diagnose me. He is also not good in comforting patients. Definitely do not recommend

Unbelievable what a worthless hospital, they are bag fillers totally no respect for patient just money.

Medical a good hospital, but the interaction of both nurse and management with regard to the patient is roundly amateurish.
Sending a patient home without the necessary home care materials because the hospital does not want to be responsible for the patient.
Then name 1001 and apologies for rigidly adhering to their supposed responsibility. If it's up to me, this hospital shouldn't even have the right to care for patients.

Came here for an emergency. Service was fantastic and the staff was the nicest! Not to mention they fixed me up really well.

You bring in your mother with pneumonia and come through too much oxygen and do not let it run down until she was discharged from the LUNG DISEASES department very forgetful (almost dementia returning.
Nursing is not always friendly, but sometimes very social.
Little help and leave you to your own devices (MANY CARE).
And if you let your stomach shrink you will get a hospital virus with unpleasant consequences. (MUCH Tummy pain or can no longer walk and another operation)

The doctors treating you (the non-specialists) all have a 36-hour contract, but work an average of 50+ hours per week, without any compensation in salary or leave. There is no point in protesting, otherwise you may forget a training place or have a poor performance interview. This is a national phenomenon, but not exactly in the interest of the patient. You can hope that you are helped by a doctor who does not work in a burn-out climate.

September 3, 2018, after a stumbling mistake in the parking garage of the NKI & MC Slotervaart I have been very helpful on the first aid from MC Slotervaart. It's a first aid, so you just have to be patient. They do their best to make it as pleasant as possible for you.

But I certainly appreciated a cup of coffee!

they have Dentist emergency service but you have to pay before :(

I have no words to describe. The best hospital that I visited. Before about a year were operated for gastric bafmpas. The staff very helpful with a smile do not make you forget all the fears

The best mothers surgeon, nurses and assistants were found in this hospital. Human and involved.
The last three years have been at home, and there was always attention and time for me. Will miss my second home and caring specialists.

Well treated for allergies. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. It is a pity that they do not yet have the possibility to consult the patient file online.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL !!

they have made the wrong diagnosis several times, saying that the problem cannot be solved while after visiting a different hospital (because I did not trust it at the Slotervaart hospital) I was immediately told that a simple solution was available. While the doctors of the Slotervaart hospital told me that I just had to learn to live with it.

Reception service was awful. The receptionist was inexperienced and arrogant. In addition, the receptionist did not treat my case like an emergency and was not well informed about insurance plans at all.

Doctors were friendly but took over four hours to treat me, all the while stating that the emergency room was full, which it visibly was not. In addition, the doctors were rather unprofessional, since they were all eating simultaneously in the middle of the emergency room, while joking around and laughing loudly.

they did not get hold of a month today by phone contact they said 2 weeks ago my phone have voiced .. (had nothing) ... with the message that my appointment does not continue, that I have no lungarts and I own another lung doctor must search - sloppy - but all the time to build a party with each other, to give it publicity and to peddle for money for it ... what an embarrassing decline

Lab in the hospital not flexible, department made a mistake by appointment. my wife is very pregnant and could not be helped by the lab staff while the operation in the lab takes at most 10.min and because of the risk of baby was essential ...

Choose another hospital !! My friend would like to be transferred from the Slotervaart to another hospital. Slotervaart simply does not have the right specialists! The Hematologist at this hospital has indicated that he will send the patient's file with an application. They did not do this. The hospital is negligent and has earned such a bad name for a reason.

Never experienced such an inefficient hospital. The hospital does not focus on the patient, but bureaucratic paperwork and double conversations. A look at another hospital how to do it would not be an unnecessary luxury. And do something about the route signs!

After an accident at the Arena Amsterdam where my son fell on his mouth so that his braces were completely bent and pressed into his gums with a lot of blood and pain as a result, we got advice from ambulance workers to have a dentist as soon as possible.
After contact with the dentist mediation agency where we first received wrong telephone numbers, we were referred to the first aid of the Slotervaart hospital oral care department. Once arrived there with a taxi (40 Euro) it is casually told that I should go to the hospital in East with my son. If I then make it clear that I do not intend to take a taxi to East again, I get the number of the same mediation agency with the message that I should arrange it with them.
By God's grace, we finally get a half-hour sabbatical commitment to help. The lady behind the counter made a blunted, unfriendly almost hostile impression towards my 11-year-old son, who was there bloody in front of the desk.

Hospital is okay. A bit outdated but in good condition. Staff friendly and competent. Parking is sufficient here. A few places in front of the door for short-term parking and a parking garage with always a free space.
Disabled persons have the option to get out at the entrance and use a wheelchair.

DO NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU WANT A PROPER AND TRUSTWORTHY DIAGNOSE & TREATMENT!!!

i was there after a bike accident saturday night with a swollen and horribly painful ankle. the doctor (who seemed to have all the time in the world) told me she "thinks it's not broken, but if it is they will call me again on monday after discussing it with other doctors"... this ofc already speaks for itself, but then she went on to just putting a soft bandage around it and telling me i could just walk home now- no crutches or anything. after i asked, doubtfully, if she thought it was okay to walk she said "yeah, maybe not that much tonight but from tomorrow on you should just walk normally." on sunday i woke with the most excruciating pain in my ankle, did an emergency visit to get some crutches because it was impossible to walk without jolting pain. today, monday morning, i get a call from the doctors there that they reviewed my x-rays together and it appears to be broken, so i need a cast and a lot of rest, definitely no walking.
this is f-ed up and COMPLETELY inacceptable for a hospital, how can you give somebody such horrible and wrong advice?!
p.s. as i found out now from others there have been multiple similar experiences, so this is not the exception

I had to do a jaw operation, have 4 bone anchors installed, 2 of which were placed incorrectly. I am NOT happy about this. You either do well or you don't.

Nothing to complain about. Luckily I never had to lie there myself. But family and acquaintances are treated well.

Wrong diagnoses, making test results without addressing the file and people who contradict each other within the same clinic. Also the bad luck that I (D) had to deal with an ice-cold specialist who has no empathy at all. Second opinion somewhere else!

I had an emergency operation for appendicitis at this hospital. I am French and I do not speak Dutch, however in terms of communication everything went very well. After a battery of exams where the doctors were very attentive and benevolent despite the difference in language, I had to be operated in the evening. The medical staff is of high quality: we accompany you and we always explain the situation to you. Surgeons are concerned about the exchange with patients. Today my scars are very discreet (barely visible). I thank the medical team.

Unfortunately I am a child at home, but the care is good and friendly staff.

GREAT HOSPITAL !!! FIGURE THICK 10 !!! just back on January 10 had neck surgery TOP SURGERY DRS DUARTE CONDE operated on me a big 10 for her and her team around it.
for the care in the hall the weather was very good here I also had surgery on c5 c6 in 2008 and also very pleased.
all the staff I have had to deal with from breakfast in the morning to the care in the room and guidance to the operating room it was all very good !!
can recommend this hospital for anyone who wants top care and wants to be treated by super surgeons.

the interior of the hospital is somewhat dated that also has its charm !!
you get a warm homey feeling as soon as you get there and the feeling that you are really in place !!

so you want your top care and very good doctors nurses and top surgeons then go to the Slotervaart Hospital.

If you want a modern interior and furniture, go to a Woonboulevard !!

I have been coming here all my life. So don't know better.

Medical expertise is top here. But lying in the ward makes you open your eyes .. really a horror. What a filthy mess! The cleaners must be ashamed of themselves. Bah bah bah! Too bad it has closed. Now I have to wait and see how to proceed now.

As a patient no experience, but you can eat very well in the restaurant for little money.
