As always when I go to the office everyone is so nice and work to
get you into and out in a timely manner . Everyone makes you feel
like you are getting the best care possible.

Excellent provider-patient interaction, you do not feel rushed and able to have all my questions answered. Very family oriented and friendly environment.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with Dr Eliza and all staff I met; very professional and friendly.

In my 50+ years I have never come across a physician so dedicated to his patients. If there are issues Dr Eugene and his excellent staff make sure to make themselves available on the same day. The communication is clear and the treatment objectives are explained in great detail. I can t say enough to express the quality of care that I have received through Matthews Internal Medicine.

Dr Eliza Sangmauh is kind, attentive and engaged. Their office is easy to access and flexible in making appointments.

Nothing but good things to say - I have been coming to this place since they first opened at the other location and my husband sees Dr. Eugene and I see Dr. Eliza. Wonderful people and wonderful staff.

I can't say enough great things about this practice. For someone who was nervous to see a doctor, the experience was so much better than expected. The doctor was not only knowledgable, but he also had a wonderful bedside manner, looked us in the eye and took time with us.

The Sangmuah s are awesome. Dr. Eugene is my general practitioner and he is a wonderful doctor. I even had my mother switch to him a few years back. When my daughter turned 18, she became a patient of Dr. Eliza. I honestly can t say enough nice things about them and their staff. Especially Chiquita, Dr. Eugene s nurse! She s very responsive.

I m an RN working for one of the major hospital groups here in Charlotte, and I recognize the health system isn t perfect. But the Sangmuah s office helps navigate all the twists of insurance, co-pays, referrals, etc...

Love Dr . Eliza. She is kind, thorough and professional.

The Office Staff is friendly & always works with me in my appointments or paying my bill, when I contact them! Nurse Sharon is a sweetheart & is very good at her job!

Dr. Eugene is a very easy-going, laid back physician with many excellent
years of practice. He is a wonderful listener and makes every effort to

Disappointing experience so far. Poor communication and service. Will likely have to return to novant or atrium network physician. Dr. Samgmuah is a nice man, but the whole office must work efficiently.

Made the physician switch due to a change in insurance 3 years ago and I love my doctor!! Dr. Eliza is a thorough, approachable and empathic physician. She spends quality time in examination and is happy to answer any and every question I've had. The front desk and clinical staff are extremely friendly and helpful any and every time I've called or been there.

I received excellent care recently by Dr. Eugene Sangmuah, who accurately diagnosed my health problem and gave me confident assurance that I d feel better after the treatment given that day. Felt such a peace in this, and my problem immediately resolved afterwards! He along with the nurse that helped in the procedure were compassionate and very caring. I highly recommend this medical practice.

I love Dr. Eugene Sangmuah! He really cares! He LISTENS! He has called me personally on a few occasions to discuss my lab results and recommendations. I sincerely recommend him.
PS. All of the staff are very nice!

Very untimely in returning a patient phone call!! Very rude staff!! Has no compassion for patients at all! Would not recommend using them for your healthcare needs. Doesn t even know what other health issues a patient is going through outside of their practice nor has compassion to call and find out or check on the patient. Set to go through radiation for cancer in lungs and had a regular appointment with them and they knew nothing about it and had records in front of them. No compassion at all. Good doctor if you have a cut or something minor but other than that would not recommend!

Dr. Eliza is the absolute BEST! I have been seeing her for a few years now and would not go elsewhere. She is so incredibly friendly, attentive and makes me (patients) feel at ease! I would totally recommend MIM!!!

From the moment you enter their doors, you are greeted by the friendliest receptionist(s) ever. The staff are also friendly and very kind, they all contribute to a pleasant visit. The doctor give excellent care and always encourages follow-up visits. I would highly recommend these doctors.

Dr. Eugene is the best! He is very personable and caring. I arrived in Matthews, NC a year ago and has been very pleased with his care. He doesn t rush out of the room. He takes his time and answers any questions you might have no matter how small it might be. His office is modern and ALWAYS clean! I will always be forever grateful for him and his team!

I'm thrilled that I found Matthew's Internal Medicine. This is exactly the family oriented type of environment I've been searching for in a primary care visit. From the moment I walked in it felt like the right decision.

I recently transitioned from Tryon Medical Group in search of an attentive, inviting, and warm front office staff, as well as medical staff that genuinely cares and smiles!!! Everyone here was laid back and helpful. Dr. Eugene Sangmuah was a breath of fresh air, he has this presence of a man that knows his stuff, but will not come off as if you are just another number on his books. I explained to him that I just want to keep coming to a primary care provider that treated me like a human and not a case. He was understanding, answered all of my questions , and was very thorough on explaining next steps and processes. He looked me in the eyes the entire conversation and I really appreciate that.

I felt such a relief that I already know I will be switching my family to this office as well.
