Specialist in their field and big verity. Brown Gold is my number one choice. I have had Mastertons from childhood, they have taken coffee in PE to new heights and the quality will keep you coming back for more.

It was a while ago that we visited here - but the chocolate coated coffee beans were some of the best we ever had! We unfortunately only got to try their coffee once as we were in transit! But need to go back ASAP!

What a great place to get artisan roasted and blended coffee. They have great service and the coffee is absolutely delicious. You have to try their coffee at least once, I guarantee you're always be back.

Welcome to Walmer Mastertons! It's is bitter sweet that you had to move from Russell road. But I am sure the next hundred years will build even more of a fan base for your delicious, locally roasted coffee. There is a great selection of manual and automatic grinders and coffee brewers. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, eager to guide and discuss the next coffee or tea experience.

Really extensive variety of common and unique coffee flavours to choose from. They also stock an assortment of teas. The barrister can serve you your favorite cup of coffee and there is seating just outside or you can buy your whole or ground beans and be on your way. The shop also sells all kinds of coffee and tea making devices from the simple common types to very unique ones.

Excellent service. Enjoy working with this team for all my coffee requirements for the company! Always going the extra mile for good service and excited to see what product ranges are going to be new to the market! Looking for grwat tasting beans - have to give this well known PE name a try!

Masterton's is a national treasure. Outstanding coffees at very reasonable prices, real dedication to the craft and knowledge of coffee and a pleasure to visit. Worth experiencing, because it hails from a time before coffee became a hipster style icon.

This is an excellent place to buy coffee. They have many different blends as well as imported beans from many countries.They also offer advice on anything coffee related and sell coffee making equipment.
Best of all is that their coffee is roasted, ground and blended in the shop while you watch.

My favorite coffee bean supplier. Not from Port Elizabeth so whenever I visit the friendly city I make certain I stock up! Brown Gold is my fav!

Excellent coffee. Note they only sell beans and coffee making stuff but don't serve coffee. Cross Russell Street to the cafes for that.

Lots of parking when you go to pick up your fix to take home with you and bless your mornings (and your day), and if you aren't in PE, don't panic. Masterton's supply to other centre's as well.

The best coffee place in town. I love going there and watching the coffee bring made. The smell is wonderful and you can make your own blend the way you want to. So many options to choose from, you sometimes don't know which to choose. My favorite blend is brown gold.

I also love that you can order a takeaway coffee directly from them.

We have had the pleasure of being customers of Mastertons since arriving in Port Elizabeth since 1985/6 . Besides the wonderful aroma of roasted coffea as we neared the shop, we have always enjoyed a friendly banter with James.
Now the move to the new premises in Main Road, Walmer the transformation has been amazing and it's just as great an experience as the "old" shop I feel a bit of nostalgia for .

After expecting to pay the price marked on the product on the shelf, I was told the new price is now R150 more than the marked price. You can't expect the client to pay more than the price marked because someone failed to change all new prices on their stock. What upset me most is that I am a loyal, good customer who spent a decent amount at their shop and I was not granted the grace to pay the price marked on the product I was purchasing. You just lost a good client for the amount R150.
