Excellent Captain, excellent crew. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time today with these guys. One of the smallest but coolest parts of the trip was as we were getting the fish close to the boat one of the Captain's sons offered to get on the rod but said it was totally up to us and if someone else wanted to jump on then do it. It's nice how even when the adrenaline is pumping and the end game is near they were still concerned about the customer. I could easily see how in that situation a more experienced fisherman would want to take over regardless of the customers wishes. They are a great family run company that knows how to fish. Taylor brought us out and showed us how to fish properly for bait and then for our dinner. He was very kind and on point when we didn t do what was needed to land a fish. We plan on using them again, fair price and a great job MBG!

So I've been on two MBG trips. The first last year for tuna, which was an awesome pug trip. Got a nice fish and it was JUST under the size so we got to keep the meat. Went again this year with my whole family for a shark trip and once again, they didn't disappoint. No keepers this time but they got us on blue shark after blue shark, which was more for fun than food anyway. The cap and mate were respectful, informative, and kind to my little cousin, helping him learn how to reel in a big fish. I can't recommend these guys enough. 10/10 will book again.

We just got back from our trip and can't wait to go back! These guys put you on the fish. Gregg and Bobby are great guys. This trip was a birthday gift for my son the memories made are well worth the 6 hour drive and every penny spent. My biggest dilemma is deciding which day or days should I book next year!

My family booked the combination package on the first. Capt Jonathan and First Mate Bob were awesome. They knew where to go. We ended up catching fish left and right all day. We caught a bunch of haddock, some cold and other fish. The best part was when we caught 4 Blue Sharks ranging from 6 ft to 12 ft. It was a blast with these two guys. Glad we did it and would definately do it again.

Booked a full day tuna charter for 6 guys. Had a great time. Great family run business. Crew was knowledgeable and very helpful as well as good guys to hang out with. Will definitely book with them again.

I have known the Sears family for more than 10 years at this point. After I caught my first bluefin tuna on a charter with Captain Greg Sears in late 2008, I was hooked (pun completely intended) on the sport and learning the BFT game. In the subsequent years since then, Greg and his sons Bryan and Taylor have been instrumental in teaching me the fundamentals of fishing for bluefin tuna.

Just this past week I took an extremely important business client out on a charter with Greg and Taylor to hunt for giant bluefin. We had a tremendous time out on the water and we also scored big on the tuna front with 3 catch and released fish, including bringing a 90-95" and a 95-100" fish to the boat for awesome photo opportunities while reviving the fish.

These guys are fishing legends not just in Scituate but across the entire tuna fishing community on the east coast (including up to PEI in Canada). I honestly can't recommend Mass Bay Guides highly enough, not only for tuna but also shark fishing, striped bass, groundfish and virtually anything you want to catch in our waters. Experienced anglers from around the world book charters with MBG and whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fisherman, these are the guys you want to fish with!

Our Mixed Party on thursday aboard the For2una was unbelievable. I am an avid fisherman with my own boat and I joined up to go out with these guys because I know they always catch the fish. I have known Greg the captain of this boat for three years and I had always wanted to go out on one of his trips. So I went out last week and we caught two Tuna fish, eneough ground fish to fill a Supermarket and to top it off we were catching ten to twelve foot blue sharks. I had know idea how much fun it is to battle sharks never mind bringing in two Blue fin tuna's. An amazing trip it was and I would suggest it to not only a beginner but to avid fisherman as well. These guys go out everyday and they know whats up so if your looking for a fishing trip and not a pleasure cruise, you should go with these guys. Awesome trip!

Had a wonderful experience catching some Striped Bass with bait that we caught ourselves. Also Captain Corey and the mate Bob were amazing!

Went on the Power Play Sunday 8/23/2020. Captain John and Connor. Had a fantastic time. They worked hard to put us on the stripers, and they did!! Highly recommended for a great family trip!!!
