I have known the Sears family for more than 10 years at this point. After I caught my first bluefin tuna on a charter with Captain Greg Sears in late 2008, I was hooked (pun completely intended) on the sport and learning the BFT game. In the subsequent years since then, Greg and his sons Bryan and Taylor have been instrumental in teaching me the fundamentals of fishing for bluefin tuna.

Just this past week I took an extremely important business client out on a charter with Greg and Taylor to hunt for giant bluefin. We had a tremendous time out on the water and we also scored big on the tuna front with 3 catch and released fish, including bringing a 90-95" and a 95-100" fish to the boat for awesome photo opportunities while reviving the fish.

These guys are fishing legends not just in Scituate but across the entire tuna fishing community on the east coast (including up to PEI in Canada). I honestly can't recommend Mass Bay Guides highly enough, not only for tuna but also shark fishing, striped bass, groundfish and virtually anything you want to catch in our waters.
