Maryland Family Network: Empowering Families and Children through Education

Children are born learning. You can see it in a baby’s eyes when you pick her up from her crib. It’s in the joy of a toddler who takes his first steps. It’s in an infant’s smile who delights in playing peek-a-boo. And it’s in a four-year-old’s voice when she explains what she learned that day in pre-kindergarten.

At Maryland Family Network, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their background or circumstances. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families and children through education, advocacy, and support.

Our mission is simple: to ensure that all children have access to high-quality early care and education programs that prepare them for success in school and life. We work with parents, caregivers, educators, policymakers, and community leaders to create a brighter future for Maryland's children.

Early Care and Education Programs

We offer a range of early care and education programs designed to meet the unique needs of families across Maryland:

- Child Care Resource Centers: Our Child Care Resource Centers provide free referrals for child care services throughout the state.
- Judy Center Partnership Schools: Our Judy Center Partnership Schools offer comprehensive services for young children (birth through kindergarten) and their families.
- Early Head Start/Head Start: Our Early Head Start/Head Start programs provide comprehensive early childhood development services for low-income families with young children.
- Family Support Centers: Our Family Support Centers offer parenting classes, family counseling services, job training assistance, health screenings, legal aid referrals.

Advocacy
