Sent an invoice with a long delay. But then directly via debt collection agency with high costs without being able to demonstrate that they have sent a reminder or called. Their apologies were that during the long time it took them to decide whether or not it could be submitted through health insurance we moved.
Our 06-number and e-mail address were known and the address is also easy to find for a hospital when moving house. They are legally obliged to send you an invoice and a reminder, but given that they have a lot of money for lawyers, everyone is happy to pay the extra costs to martini's favorite collection agency.
If they don't even call when they think they should get money from you, I don't think they can be trusted for care as well. Their complaints officer is just an employee of Martini, but officially "independent" of course;) Besides a brief explanation that it is done as standard, it also yielded nothing.

So stay away from Martini, they don't see you as a human being but purely as a source of money and when there are problems, they react in the most annoying way.

NB: the collection agency did call the number and used the e-mail address that was known to Martini. So dear Martini employees, maybe call yourself next time and save us the + 50% on our bill. I would like to send invoices on time if it does not go through the insurer.

A night in the hospital on neurosurgery. Very good treatment and care. Good food and friendly staff. Nice cheerful interior stay well there.

I have been to the Martini several times for various reasons. Similarly today in connection with severe shortness of breath due to COVID-19. I felt heard and taken seriously, the team pulled out all the stops to make sure I was healthy and could return home safely. Great service and a caring team with a lot of knowledge. Thank you!

Well organized hospital, informative strong and competent

Dennis nurse is someone who sees the patient as a person and not a number like others in this department. As he stood at the bedside of my daughter he explained exactly why he had to do things. He also told my daughter step by step what he was going to do when he bandaged the roll that was allowed on the site of the kidney biopsy. When he heard me tell my daughter that her hair was so fat he thought them how I could wash it. When he heard the day after that the daycare, despite leaving a notion about it, had not picked up the sink, he made sure that the sink was picked up from another ward and placed in the shower so that I finally got the hair off could wash. He made sure that a new patch came to sit on the catheter for dialysis. And he made my daughter not afraid to talk about infection as a colleague did do the day after. He called the patient by name and not her or him. He respects the patient.
Mr. Schiphorst's social worker from the hospital and is always ready for my daughter when she is struggling and questions. There must be more like him.
For the rest, I don't have a good word for this hospital. Very poor communication among themselves and certainly a very poor communication with the patient and the family of the patient. And especially clear communication with the patient is very important. Furthermore, it is strange that if you have faith in a doctor / specialist that in a few weeks (in our case 3 weeks) this will be replaced by another doctor / specialist with whom the patient feels bad.

Well not really pleasant, three weeks ago I was able to answer the question whether I was sick. And could just walk on. But now I had to queue to answer questions, so see the pass about 5 minutes before you could go through

Appointment times run almost every x hours, I have now so much waiting in 3 years that I really spit sick of my response here there can be an x what run out or a priority case but if you x is waiting x hours it becomes extremely annoying. Professionally and personally assisted during my surgery and on the day treatment. Very nice! I dreaded the operation, but with all the help and attention I can look back on a very good day!

It is a great pity that we had to be present very early (7.45) with a young (nervous 14-year-old) child ....... After a very long wait (45 minutes ....), we finally asked several times why it took so long. Several families arrived much later and had their turn earlier (??) There was already a nurse who came by three times to pick up other children and reacted in surprise; "You are still here?" The letter said that my son would be helped in the OR at 8.30. Almost immediately afterwards (at the insistence of us ...) it turned out to be 9.30 and then only to get an infusion at 10.00 and wait in the front stop of OK. Then only at 10.30 finally red light and the OR started. My son was nervous, and I put it quite boilingly! The aftercare nothing but good !!!!! Dear sisters and brothers in the recovery, once back in the department also good care. Just a pity that we were promised that we could go home at 1.30 pm (after being in the hospital for 6 hours .......) The sister in question turned out to be in an emergency (she can't help it, but we certainly too not !!!!!! Then arrange a replacement ........ son love wanted so badly !!!!!!!) Finally at 14.15 leave the hospital .........

Excellent care and treatment. However, cups cannot be eaten, although that is only a small part of the total experience. Recommended!

Enormously long waiting times that, in my eyes, are not acceptable. Two months have to wait for an operation (urology). Research cardiology department has been busy for 3 months. Lasts almost 2 months for an MRI of the heart. For the first gastrointestinal liver doctor's consultation, I now have to wait more than 2 months. UMCG also unacceptably long waiting times. Something has to be done very quickly in the Northern Netherlands.

Ik keek wel tegen de operatie van mijn arm op maar door de goede voorlichting en het vriendelijke en kundige personeel is het mij enorm meegevallen. Dikke pluim hoor! De zorg in het Martini zh is wat mij betreft top!!

Today for sports medical examination. Good signage to the hospital. Parking no problem, but at the price. The investigation went well. Excellent reception and implementation by the staff. Internally also good signage to the exit and parking.

Funny that I have to explain here how much I like a Hospital .. No, not nice, but necessary. Rules about Covid-19 aka Cov-Sars-2 are well observed and it is also a hospital, so yes, it is just what someone understands by 'nice' ..

Nice entrance and good service counter. Only incredibly difficult to find everything. The signage is not optimal and could be better. The distances that have to be covered are rather large. The poly's are quite apart. This has not been thought about. I hope that it will improve in the future.

The hospital is equipped with all modern amenities, I was most surprised about the super large tablet above your bed. But that is just things, much more important is the care provided. Well from my own experience I can say that it is excellent. Dedicated, expert, professional, honest and empathetic employees work there.

Today with our daughter for her throat and tonsils removal. Good care, nice nursing .. nice departments for the little ones, even though she found it very exciting. Very nice playroom.

I would not recommend the Martini Hospital.My husband was operated on March 19 on his hand. His little finger would be put right and if during the operation it would turn out that would not, it would be taken off. Neither of these happened.Dr Horntjes started operating with his forefinger where she had to stay with her POTEN when my husband said something they put him under anesthesia. Then you would think wrong things so yes. and now more than six months later: no feeling in index finger and still very thick .pink even more curved as before the operation and then the pain every day.ooo what a regret I have sent him there.

For the removal of my wisdom teeth, I paid a visit to the dental surgeon. Walked very quickly and smoothly, after 15 minutes I was back outside with 2 molars in my hand. All goes smoothly at this hospital. Finding a way is no problem, friendly and helpful staff.

As far as I am concerned, the best hospital in the province of Groningen. Not religious myself but still had a pleasant experience with a specialist (neurologist), who took at least three hours for me and left me with a good feeling that I was not wrong. Also got a good tip to fight headaches.

Today I went to emergency room because of suspicion of appendicitis. It took almost 1.5 hours before I got some pain. And the doctor in training at the seh also said something very different about a made ultrasound, than the radiologist who made the ultrasound. Few bowel operations had a few years ago, including a temporary stoma. A few times at seh said that my stool went through 3x per week to rinse and laxeertrank, but now I had normal stool for my doing. Had 2 options what indication could be and wanted to send me home with an extra lax powder (which does not work for me, I already said this). After doctor had indicated that I had to go home first and wait or see if pain would drop, I had to wait another 1.5 hours for infusion to be removed and I got pain relief because of the return journey from the hour in the car.

Because a friend of mine is going to die here half by some crazy doctor who hurt her a lot

This hospital is easily accessible by public transport and car. Only once in the hospital ... I am always lost.

Last week I went to take blood with my grandmother at Certe in the Martini hospital. A number (or at least one) of the employees there can use a customer-friendliness course. Certe employee Marian (or whatever you write it) was hugely disparaging, directive, and impatient towards my grandmother. My grandmother came back from the puncture room crying (and it wasn't because she hated the puncture) it was the way she was treated.
