Nicest building I have ever been. Lots of light and considered seat of innovation. This is also where our most modern and largest lab in Ontario is located. You can also find nice restos and coffee shops in this place. Finally, very accessible. This building has access to Queen's Park station.

Superb place, accessible directly from the metro, with several floors of innovative startups. This place is full of ideas, with conference rooms, armchairs and food court at -1. Bathed in light, one might think that one is always outside, but the perfect and constant temperature reminds us that we are in an immense interior space, accessible to all public incidentally. Nice place to visit
I appreciate the time and effort that all private and Goverment contributors have given to this project it has transformed the neighbourhood for the better . I believe all levels of Government have worked together in a perfect harmony to achieve the goal, and it shows. I personally believe all people that participated in this project have dedicated their time to one of Toronto's most worth while developments, and all those that have brought this project to fruishen .very well done. I believe it was forsight in the planning stages that have given the MARS centre a smoke free feeling or a sense of understanding around the the issue.,I do not think any other project as done more for the city .
The health week was very busy. The cofounder of Red Hat talked about educational programs for children. If there is any thing that this place teaches , it s getting real investors excited about the potential of startups . I am happy to facilitate discussions ~ and be on a panel of startups. THE place to be and a great place for the startup community to meet. Easy to find for out-of-towners. The "Old Security Desk" is the spot to specify to be able to meet.
Always want to try the vending machine on the ground level that dispenses tea made with lose leaf but I haven't ! MARS is a beautiful building a mixture of old and new architecture. Lots of events happening that you can search and attend some for free but you have to book in advance.
This is a large building with access to the TTC. It's mostly offices and labs, focusing on tech and innovation.
There's a foodcourt in the basement with half a dozen restaurants and lots of seating (both cafeteria style and some comfy lounge chairs). It's really busy around 11-1 during lunch, but otherwise you can always find a place to seat. Note most food places close before 5. (There's also a hall leading to Toronto General's food court, giving access to more food choices.)
There's a Mercatto's and a Starbucks on opposite ends of the main floor.
Generally, probably not worth going out of your way to go here, but decent place to grab food and sit if you're in the area. Comfier and cleaner than the hospitals.
